Amazing scenery and views and actually most of the staff is really great and helpful. Perhaps because it’s the busiest week of the year, but our very expensive zephyr lodge room left a lot to be desired. First, it stunk to high heavens. Someone cooked something that should be illegal. Second, we had zero soup or shower gel in the room. We rented from resort, not from renter. And when we tried to get basic amenities, the guy started asking us a ton of questions. They wouldn’t let us drop off luggage and made us change in garage. We arrived 4 hours before check in. Check out of course is at 10am… for this price, we should have been given red carpet. Or at least some soap, you know? never staying in this lodge again.

The lodging was great and they were pretty accommodating to my group. I have skied at a decent amount of resorts and if you love alpine terrain, this place has lots to choose from. The one thing I didn't care for was that they had a lot of cat walk areas and it wasn't easy getting to the other side of the mountain. I had a good time, nothing went wrong. They did their part by providing what they said they would.

We had the best time. The room at Zephyr was spacious and a great location for our family of five. We took ski lessons with Amanda and our son took snowboarding lessons with Luke which perfectly prepared us for going out on our own the rest of the weekend. We also got to watch the ski competition being held which was so so amazing. We dined at several restaurants on the property with our favorite being the top of the mountain via gondola. Music and incredible views made for a great night! Everyone on staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back!

We just drove in for a ski day - no lodging. This mountain is so fantastic, so much terrain and variety of runs to choose from. Beautiful well spaced tree glades are great for my daughter trying to level up! Mountain passes and all amenities and services just what we neededFood & drinks: Great variety of places to sit down or get snacks

My family decided to go to Winter Park for our annual ski trip and it was such an amazing time. The facilities were impressive. I’ve never been to a resort this big! The rental equipment was top notch and everyone who worked there, from the pro shop to the lifts were so nice. We skied for 3 days and the runs were great everyday, no matter what the weather. The views from the lifts and the top of the runs were breathtaking. If you are there Thursday-Sunday after 4 pm there are free gondola rides to the top of the mountain. Perfect for people in your party that don’t ski but want to see the spectacular views! Top notch resort.

Fantastic resort! Amazing runs. Fast lines. Amazing staff! We had great snow while we were there with a wide variety of run types and difficulties. A lot of runs would be more difficult at other ski resorts: greens are blues, and blues are advanced-intermediate.

This place is very beautiful, and very expensive. I have gone to different ski places for my family for years, and every place keeps getting .ore expensive. Lift tickets were around $290 per person. Snowboarding and ski rentals are too bad at around $75, which was nice. Over all I probably would not go back. The food was way overpriced, but decent on the mountain. In town everything was overpriced but decent. We rented a house that was wonderful, so I can't say much about the resort.Nearby activities: We did snowmobile, snowshoes and sbowtubing and all were better than skiing.

Have been to Winter Park 4 years in a row now. Great place to ski! Very reasonable driving distance to Denver's airport, which is one of the big reasons we keep going back. The Winter Park ski lift lines are not near as bad as Breckenridge, but the lift lines for the Mary Jane Park can get pretty long on the weekends and spring break. We have stayed at multiple lodging options on site. Zephyr Mountain Lodge is the nicest, but also the most expensive. Iron Horse is the best ski in/ski out option, but you really have to plan out your runs (especially near the end of the day) in order to make it back to your lodge.

We came here to ski and visit family who were staying at one of the properties at the resort. (The Vintage) The resort is beautiful and the ski area, fantastic. It is truly a magical place. There are a number of delicious restaurants, coffee shops, cute souvenir shops, ski shops, etc.. Plenty of restrooms available. The staff at the ski lesson/ski rental shop were so helpful. We took lessons and it was a great experience. The apres ski music at the top of the mountain on Friday night was such a treat. (Free) We are already planning our trip back. Very pet and kid friendly!!

I didn’t stay at the hotel but Winter Park is a great ski area. I assumed that because of its proximity to Denver that it wouldn’t be that impressive. I was so wrong. The winding road takes you to a location that is beautifully nestled in the mountains and every view is stunning. The lift workers were efficient at getting people up the mountain. There are plenty of options for food. I ate in the food court area and prices were reasonable. There is a Starbucks at the base. There is both covered and uncovered on site parking. I will definitely return to Winter Park!

Parking here is a real challenge. The base layout is poor. Many options force you to walk through the village which is long and skinny. Other options are far from the lifts and you are at the mercy of unreliable shuttles. I also found both the interactive grooming map on the web and the grooming layer in the app to be unreliable. Not great. The mountain itself is nice and the lifts well thought out.Walkability: Poor as everything is a long walk from everything else

Wow! What a mountain resort. This is my first time to Winter Park, on the great Ikon ski pass tour We took this February. The infrastructure of this mountain was impressive, the village was filled with wonderful restaurants and shops, in the mountain had terrain for the adventurous at Hart. Huge thanks to the staff there for making us feel so welcomed. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing resort! Lines are usually very short except on busy dates. Slopes are very good and it is very easy to rent skis. Food on the mountain is expensive, but it’s like that at every resort. One of my family members dropped their phones on a lift and the employees there were very helpful and we retrieved the phone with no problem. The mountain is very accessible as you are able to get from one side of the mountain to the other pretty easily. The slopes very in difficulty so this mountain suits any type of skier. Highly recommend to all!

This is one of my favorite ski resorts nearby. It’s only about an hour to and hour and a half from Denver and there is (limited) free parking right by the lifts. The Mary Jane side is harder and mostly blues but the Winter Park side has a lot of greens for us lazier folk.

Overpriced and overrated. The $200+ lift ticket price per day is more than most theme parks per day, but you only get about 2 to 3 hours of the experience because of the crowd. It was basically a free-for-all with little guidance. Also, there is no area to practice skiing unless if you purchase $99+ private lessons in advance. This is on top of renting the equipment. At least parking and shuttle were free.

The lines are way too long, the greens are basically cat walks, The blues have moguls all over them. Only thing good is the groomer if you even like groomers. The food is gross, I’ve had way better food out at copper which is just another thirty minutes away. Even eldora is better, at least there you can get food at Boulder and explore that cute town.

Winter Park resort is one of the closest ski resorts to Denver - despite its proximity, it doesn't feel touristy. They have plenty of free parking spaces, so long as you get here pretty early. Lifts and grounds are well maintained, and their app will keep you up to date on the latest trail and lift statuses. They also have plenty of places to eat, as well as cafeteria-like areas where you can microwave your own food from home. They also have plenty of holiday events, including fireworks and a Christmas eve ski down. A very family friendly, chill place!

Beautiful view. Staff seems unhappy but basically nice people, the hotel itself is pretty worn out. My room was nice enough, especially the view, but it seemed to have fleas. I would not stay there again. The town's shuttle stops at the front door, making it simple to get to the lifts.Walkability: Not walkable at all - right on highway 40. Strongly recommend not trying to walk to the village/lifts.

I had booked a trip here back in Summer 2023 I just forgot to leave a review. I found it kind of weird that our rooms used a door code instead of a keycard but I brushed it off, our room came with a kitchen and two beds as well as a TV. I went up the gondola up to the mountain and tried some of the drinks and food up there, needless to say, the food was great! as well as the view.In conclusion, if you are in Colorado for a vacation, you really need to check this place outRooms: The rooms where mediocre on some parts but everything else was very great!Nearby activities: The alpine slide is a really fun activity to do if you have kidsWalkability: Most of the places you can walk up to except for the mountains as they require liftsFood & drinks: Food and drinks are very great!Noteworthy details: The view up on the mountain is breathtaking!
