We recently stayed here and had a great stay. The location was excellent, right in the middle of town with many great restaurants nearby (within walking distance). In addition, there is a ski rental place right next door, which was very convenient. The rooms were on the smallish side, but they were clean and very well maintained. The breakfasts were really good, with plenty to choose from and the rotating schedule of food items is fairly unique. What separates this hotel from others is their people--we probably had interactions with 4-6 different team members and they were all very personable and professional. Particularly Michael at the front desk--he gave us restaurant tips and answered all of our questions with a great attitude. Will definitely stay there again when we return to the Winter Park area.

I find a lot to like at any Best Western I stay at. Nice people, comfortable updated room. I appreciated the blackout shades (curtains never quite work), high-quality shower and all the pillows. Fast WiFi, easy parking, good breakfast served onsite and many dinner options close by. Love Winter Park all year long.Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast!

We had 2 connected rooms. They were both clean and what you would expect from a standard hotel. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond when we needed anything. Super accommodating. Breakfast was about what you would expect for a continental with the addition of a rotational menu additions like a diy breakfast burrito bar that included some green pork chili. That was a family favorite. All in all we would stay at this location again.Walkability: Lots of restaurants, breweries and shopping all within walking distance.

Needed a place to stay last minute, and the front desk personnel at this Best Western helped us get a room and feel comfortable and well taken care of during our stay. The continental breakfast is standard. They have a hot tub, although we didn’t check it out. No gym and no room service. Great location, felt safe, and the room was clean and made up nicely for us upon our arrival.Rooms: clean, standard. our room had 2 queens, a TV, fridge, and microwave, plus a nice work spaceNearby activities: even during a snow storm, various restaurants, shops, establishments were open, in addition to the local marketSafety: safe area, be wary of snow and avalanches though - check forecasts, warnings, and road closures before you goWalkability: very walkable areaFood & drinks: Some great food & drink options availableNoteworthy details: Places (not all, but a decent amount) stay open even during heavy snow storms

Great experience! First time there. Desk lady was helpful and nice. Rooms were very sharp n clean. No fridge though. Had a nice view of winter park slopes. Great location to ski rentals next door. Didn’t need them though. Restaurants near by .. walking distance. Winter park skiing was less than 5 mins away . I’ll definitely come back to this location

Literally saved our butts when we got stuck in town due to the avalanche on MLK Jr day. The parking lot was cleared of snow daily, breakfast was hot, rooms were clean and the hot tub was a nice addition to an otherwise standard set up. The whole town is within walking distance of this place and we spent a lot of time exploring in the -16° weather but what a great place to make some good memories while stuck in an otherwise unfavorable situation. The only gripe I have is that the doors to the rooms seem thin or maybe a little short for their frames, there were many times we were woken up by people talking in the hallways or kids running down the halls and when someone was being respectful and just walking near the room it sounded like they were walking up right behind you in your room.

STELLAR STAFF… Joe and Kevin blew our socks off. Joe was great upon check in and throughout our stay by refilling the hot chocolate machine, getting us a new room key, and getting us ibprophen. Kevin walked out in the snow and helped with our bags and walked them to our room. Excellent service!!!!As for the hotel, it’s right next to the bus stops that take you directly to the ski resort. It’s also very close to all the winter park restaurants. We recommend smoke house and Denos. The breakfast is free and delicious! It’s also walking distance to the beavers creek for ski rentals. Great location and great stay! 10/10 recommend!!

Rooms are small but we just needed a bed to sleep. Staff was friendly and breakfast good. Location is great. Plenty of restaurants to walk to for lunch and dinner if staying. Minutes from the Winter park village and slopes. Lyft shuttle to the park right outside of entrance. Will definitely stay again. Mountain view out the window was beautiful to wake up to.

An absolutely FABULOUS place to stay. Everything was beautifully clean and the room was perfect for our needs. But the thing that we were most repeatedly impressed with and that really made our stay the most enjoyable was hands down the staff. From start to finish every single member of staff that we dealt with, whether directly or as we passed them in the halls or while in the lobby, were all warm and super friendly. I want to give a special shout out to Chris who set the bar high from the very beginning when he welcomed us by name at check in (before I even said anything!) and continued to dazzle us with his eagerness to see that we had everything we needed to settle in for the night. A total thumbs up all the way around. We'll definitely be back!Food & drinks: The complimentary breakfast was yummy!!

I was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the value it presented. Beds were excellent, rooms come with a fridge and microwave, and the hotel staff are extremely accommodating. As a bonus it sits right on the bus route up to winter park so no reason to drive anywhere.The only negative was my “Mountain View” room had a large tree in front of it and the view of the mountains was pretty limited. Regardless I would stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

Checked in no issues. However, once we left Reception, SUPER-strong smell of marijuana on EVERY floor! As we were there for work assignment, nothing could be done. Upon entering our rooms, pot odour beat us in! A/C didn't work. Windows opened fully, though with people smoking pot outside, we got no relief. Also, microwaves are the old dial turn models. Keep an eye on food, as the knob doesn't move once you set your cook time. If you enjoy a "party-pad" type hotel, this may be for you.Rooms: Small, yet adequate. Older property, needs technical refurbish for safety concerns.Walkability: We arrived on Sat night, easily walkable to downtown activities.Food & drinks: Great breakfast juice selection. Night porter made sure everything was ready by 0600, even though breakfast was listed to start at 0630! Room coffee (Wolfgang Puck brand) FAR superior to Folgers available in lobby.Noteworthy details: TVs are coax cabled, 2 HDMI ports locked. Unable to use Roku or PS3. Basic cable channels available, BBCAmerica was out.
