I ordered cupcakes from another store, and they called me 4 hours before the party to let me know they they would be unable to make our order (for 42 people!). My husband called Safeway, and they SAVED US! They were so nice, and even offered to make the cupcakes with Cub Scout colors since it was for a scout event. The woman who helped us at the bakery was SO nice. We will come straight to Safeway next time.

Guys, this place is great. Sure it gets pretty busy during the weekends, but the people are great! Sandeep helped me today at the register and has been there since the store opened. Love hiw everyone checks in on you. I'm glad to pay a bit more at this location for the people you get.

I have been shopping at the Windsor Safeway for 3 years now. I have always had great service from their employees and all of their managers. I want to give a HUGE shout-out to the night manager this evening, November 7. She honored my Free Turkey Coupon that I forgot to get when I shopped early this past Sunday morning. She technically didn't have to honor the coupon but she did and her kindness brought me to tears. Thank you for treating me with kindness, respect and caring enough to walk with me to get the turkey in the back of the store and for walking with me to the front door. And finally, thank you for a most needed hug. Safeway is very fortunate to have you as a supervisor.

If you are applying for a job here make sure you want to be a cashier. I came in for a interview for Starbucks and bakery clerk as a backup.I came in at the time I was supposed to be there walked up to the customer service counter and they told me to go and just sit at one of the Starbucks tables so I did which I thought was weird and then the same lady from customer service came up and started interviewing the kid next to me there was absolutely no privacy and it felt very unprofessional also was very loud because all the tables were full, then it was my turn I had such a hard time hearing her. I finished my interview and she told me that either she or Margarita would give me a call anywhere from today to next week, so I took it as I didn't get the job. Well a couple hours later and I get a call from Margarita and she was talking (screaming basically) so loud I didn't have my phone on speaker and my mom could hear her across the room. She was telling me I got the job as a cashier so I asked if it was for the bakery clerk position and she said no it's just front clerk so I was confused because I hadn't applied for that position and she keep on rudely asking (bullying) me into saying yes but, I told her thank you for your time but I will decline and she just wouldn't take no for an answer and she told that she'll just have me call her back at a better time. 😕

Quick place to stop when in a hurry. A little on the high side for prices unless it is there weekly ads. There frozen section has been a hit and miss because of freezer issues. The stuff that is on sale for the weekly ad is not on the self. There is nothing in that spot. Kinda frustrating at times.

I love Safeway over the others and this one is particularly nice. Good selection easy to locate what you need. I don't live near this one but I know what to expect when I go in. Please treat your employees well. Stop letting looters just take things with out paying if that's happening at your stores like others in the news. Come up with a solution other than passing the cost on to paying customers. Everything is crazy expensive as it is.

It Absolutely does not look like that picture.That being said, It's still a very nice store, generally very well stocked. However, if you need anything from the deli it does close early and it is not open on weekends as far as I have seen.🤷‍♀️There are some items that you get a better selection on than the Grocery store across the street but the reverse is also true.

Super clean, friendly customer service, all of the items were faced to the customer on this Saturday morning and it was very pleasing to shop here. Very few gluten free options though, the King Soopers across the street is better for that.

Employees in the regular store are great BUT the main thing I’m reviewing about is the Starbucks. Only two employees there are great and overworked as college students who still work with smiles on their faces and they are amazing and never complain about working. But the other three are absolutely terrible. The “manager” doesn’t know what she’s doing unfortunately and I have overheard her talking badly about not only me but others around her especially customers she has just served in front of her. I have seen her be blatantly rude to customers while I was in line as well me being one of them. The other who exclusively works nights mutters under their breath about how terrible the customers are as well. Speaking ill of other employees that work with them and has a mightier than thou attitude towards everyone and won’t stop talking when spoken to. I believe the stand has shut down on multiple occasions on account of the third. But if anyone has the pleasure of meeting Emmy and Cassey they are the BEST baristas there. Normally great attitudes and I’ve only seen them give less great experiences when they’ve been overworked but they’re amazing at what they do!

Safeway in Windsor, Colorado has declined drastically over the past 8-years. The curtiousy clerks are always great, but they rarely have enough of them working, making for long lines at checkout.Another down side has been the lack of response to questions on their comment cards. In 8-years i have submitted a dozen comment cards, based on how local management has told me to address them, and have NEVER received a response.Thirdly, product selection in unreliable. I've had numerous items that I bought at this store, and after months to years, the items are no longer available. Thus the comment cards.I have taken to shopping elsewhere as my regular store, not even a Safeway, because of these issues. I was a lifelong, 30+years, shopper until about 5 years ago. Now I only shop there a few times a year, and never for a full grocery list.

Staff is friendly but with supply issues it's frustrating that you can't get things you want sometimes.Update! Staff usually helpful. Customer service seems to be improving. Better selections again most of the time, but no eggs today???New update 10/31/22. Ordered off app yesterday for pickup today. Noticed some errors and called to speak with the manager of the pickup department. Was transferred and spoke with Aiden. Manager is on vacation. Explained my concern and his response is "huh, what did you say?" So I explain my concern again about some wrong items and missed items and his response is "so you want what refunded?" I explain again I don't want a refund I need the correct items and count. After some additional attitude from him I ask for a manager at which he holds the phone asking for a manager and asking some female to call for one. "This guy wants a manager..." the whole time I can hear him. Comes back to say they are busy on a video call. Tells me he can't resolve my issue only can refund. Worst customer service skills and attitude. Waiting for a manager to call me back but not sure I will be coming back anytime soon at this point.

This place is so disappointing. Always out of stock, love that there is only one entrance after 7pm. Once, twice, I get it, but over 3 years..I'm done. Go to King Soopers, that's seems to be where I end up going after trying Safeway.

Great store, they have everything I need and not too many customers, I'm not scared to go in this store, unlike other grocery stores full of people. This is a safe place to shop for groceries.

Extra charge for curbside pickup. Safeway is bagging all items and charging for the bags. And if you bring your own bags you still get charged. The store manager says this is built into their curbside system and they cannot change it. A great example of corporate stupidity.

Employees are great but over the years the restocking and/or discontinuing of things I buy have me going across the street after I shop to King Soopers. Today it 10 items. It’s to the point now I have to comment.Nothing “goes upstream” for product requests at Safeway. Management if you’re listening … it started with the Buitoni Alfredo Sauce, then the Rao’s Mariana sauce. Horizon whole milk. Boxed Broth. The list goes on.I LOVED this store as the aisles are wider. People are great. But I notice the prices are better on a few key items at KS. (Starbucks coffee beans for 2$ more than KS.This store has all the potential but is failing due to higher up management not taking customer input for items and not stocking their shelves.

I like shopping at Safeway cuz it's not packed it's always a nice peaceful environment. And the employees are nice very helpful. Not like some of these stores were employees see a customer and they turn around take off and go hide. Safeway employees keep up the good work doing a good job.

I never rate a grocery store, till now. I hate spending more time in line than actually shopping (e.g. King Soopers Windsor). I would give them 3 stars, but then I spoke to Riley at the deli. They had great knowledge of the deli choices, and RECOMMENDATIONS! That's refreshing and old school. They also knew where to find most products in the store! I give 5 stars to Riley, and Safeway should make Riley a manager or guest services specialist! Thanks Riley, I will now be shopping at Safeway more often!

Was just at Safeway to get some meat from the deli. Two young men were in the department horsing around took 10 minutes to get waited on there was no line, just me. Finally got waited on.Took another few minutes of rummaging to find the meat I wanted. He takes it to the slicing machine. That’s when I notice old meat on the slicer and flies buzzing around. I canceled my order and told them it was because the place was dirty. They had a good laugh.

I'm thankful we have a choice in grocery stores, and I hope Safeway will remain in Windsor. Why anyone shops at crowded King Soopers is beyond me. Thank you for doing a great job guys!

Safeway is an orderly, well managed grocery store. The only thing that I miss is cosmetics and skin care products. I have to go to King Soopers or Walgreens for those.

Clean, neat, always organized. Staff is always smiling and helpful. Look for the family meat pack it is usually about 6dollars a meal for a large family. With only three adults I get about 8 dinners/ lunches and so at 24.99 it's a deal. Like that all packages are not identical so if I want leg quarters I can find them of just legs( to make sticky chicken) I can find that too.

If I could rate a single employee I would and I would give her 1 star. After beginning to cook some ground Wagyu beef from this location I noticed several small pieces of plastic mixed in with the meat. At first I thought I might have cut a piece of the packaging off while opening it but after inspecting it realized that I did not. I wish I would have taken a picture of the countless pieces of plastic I pulled out of the meat but I didn't think about it at the time. Instead I took the greasy pieces on a paper towel with the original package back to the store to show them my concern. I spoke with a "manager" who was logged in as Natasha, and showed her what was in the meat I had just purchased and almost consumed. Carelessly and unapologetically she asked if I used a credit or debit card for the purchase and then gave me a refund. I told her she might want to pull the other packages off of the shelf in case it was a mass production error and she said lackadaisically that she was going to "take it back there and show them". I then left the store appalled. I have had problems with this person in the past but have refrained from saying anything about her until now. She is certainly not fit to be a manager and needs to take customers' health and safety more seriously.Post from 2021:Curbside pickup at this location is subpar... The way items are bagged is terrible and there are always several items that are "out of stock". In reality, they just don't look long or hard enough to find those items... I complained to a manager the last this happened and she gave me a $25 gift card and addressed the problems which was really nice.

Management is extremely rude, employees don't ever make eye contact with you, nor greet you when you walk up to the register. They only great thing about this store is the Meat/Seafood department. They're extremely friendly and helpful. I only shop at Safeway for our meat.
