We rented the sod cutter over the weekend and that machine was worth it's weight in gold! Matt and his coworkers at the hardware were easy to work with and gave us clear and easy to understand instructions before we left. We highly recommend renting the sod cutter from the Hardware for any lawn removal you may need.

This was a place I enjoyed coming to but no longer. I found out the hard way they do not give any support to you if you order an item from the website and have it delivered to the store for pickup. I didn't even need to buy it here, I bought it here because I wanted to help a smaller in-town business rather than go to Amazon. I don't think people should necessarily avoid this place, it's a local store that is closer than others and the owners are good people. These are just my reasons for no longer coming here.The thing broke in the first 20 minutes... I called the store and the person who answered the phone told me to come down and they would initiate a return through their system and I could apply the money to another product there. I was happy with that as I could still spend my money there and I could get a better product.I drove down there and when I arrived I was told that actually they cannot help me at all. I would need to contact the Do It Best website customer service. If this was the case then why did they tell me to drive down to get help?I explained my position, that I really did not appreciate them asking me to come down if they cannot help as it wastes my time and gas money and it's really tough out there right now. All they would say is this was the bosses decision so it was final.If they had just said no to the return initially over the phone that would have been that, no issue on my end. But asking me to come down to tell me no in person didn't feel great. My question on the phone was basically "what is your return policy, what can be done here?" I wasn't expecting a return and was delighted when you said it was possible, at first. That is why it hit so hard in this case.I really do like this place but I will not ever be returning again which is a shame because I like the owners and people here. The one thing that can get me to not come back is not being willing to take accountability for what you tell customers. If you tell me to come down and you made a mistake, that is on you. You should fulfill what you tell people over the phone. I am very disappointed to be treated this way today. I thought this place was better.The saddest part here is if I had just bought this at Walmart it would have been an easy return but instead I am now stuck with it.

First, let me say the staff is great - friendly, helpful...etc and honestly probably only thing saving this from more like a 1 star from me. Sadly, overall, I just never am very satisfied and can only shop here when its truly an emergency. I buy a socket... its $8 when its $3 at Murdoch's. I buy nitrile gloves.... its $25/100 box when I spend $2/20 pack at Walmart. And I've done this to support a local business but its getting hard when not only is the cost WAY more for things but things like the gloves shred in like 2-3 minutes of use (whereas the Walmart ones never ripped... single pair would get through entire oil changes without rips) so when it becomes high price and I still ultimately have to go elsewhere to get something actually functional then I'm just burning money going there which is too much.

This is definitely the definition of small town in the dictionary. Good Small Town Business ran by hard working honest americans, where their word means something. The owner is respectful and great to all my family and has gone out of his way to make sure i have what i need and will always give you the best deal. The customer service at this place is phenomenal. They've helped me out of a pinch on more than one occasion. Once with gas line adapters, once with dishwasher adapters, and once with an exterior water spigot. It really is nice to have a local hardware store with helpful workers who know what they're talking about!

Just moved into town and stopped by to check out the store. Absolutely great place. The owner as well as the staff was very welcoming and friendly. My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. Don't plan to take my business anywhere else.

We just moved here and have visited this hardware store on several occasions already. They have anything and everything you would ever need and their customer service is beyond compare. We moved here from Denver, and this store is better with its staffing and how they treat people than any store in the city. The best service at a hardware store I have ever experinced. They ask you what your looking for and find it faster than one can wander around looking for themself. The loyalty points and emails sometimes get me to buy more than I planned. I like the birthday coupon.
