I absolutely love this store. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. Being new to chickens, they answered every question I had and then some. I suggest them to all of my family and friends that have guinea pigs for supplies, and chickens for everything. The lady that runs it is so nice.

This place is the BEST! They are a little hard to find unless you just stumble across them, but, they are totally worth the trip for pet food. We drive 40 mins just to get our bird seed here. It’s top quality seed at about 1/3 the price we’ve paid elsewhere! Highly recommended!

A very friendly staff with a store that has a diverse range of pet supplies. I encourage you to ask the staff for assistance and to share what you're looking for. Several of the products that they carry are listed on their White board located by the register and those products are stored in back. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I look forward to going back in the future for additional products and service. Supportive and friendly.

We come here for the Scratch and Peck brand of chicken feed, as well as grit and crushed oyster shells. The staff is always welcoming and the prices are great. This is an excellent local establishment with a good selection of products.

Amazing feed store, with everything you need for your animals, big and small. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She clearly has a passion about doing good for animals, and was a wealth of great information. Highly recommend you visit!!

They always have what we need and they are always helpful. We love this small business and are happy to support local small businesses. Their price on the food we get is amazingly less than the large online pet food store too!

They may be a sweet, family owned store however they have no compassion towards the rabbit they cared for in the store, even though they claim this to be their expertise. They ignore the most standard requirements and instead of taking on board the kind, yet realistic, suggestions of their rabbit loving customers they simply retaliate by hiding the rabbit away at their home. This rabbit lives in unacceptable conditions, they aren’t supposed to be caged 24/7 in a space not twice their size, on harmful wire flooring with no entertainment or company. This rabbit deserves more, which is why I give this store a 1 star review.

They have reasonable supplies at reasonable prices and a small discount for cash. I stopped going there when I saw one of the owners wearing an "adorable deplorable" shirt in combination with their lack of mask wearing. I mostly follow don't-ask-don't-tell on the political front for small businesses, but if you make it overt in public then I'll vote with my patronage.

The people that run Walkers love what they do and it shows. I buy all my dog food from here. The staff is so nice, they carry large bags out to your car for you. Also, they stock high quality goods you won't find in a big store.

Very reasonably priced feed. I paid 10 bucks for 25lbs of something they charge 15 bucks for 2lbs of at petsmart. That's like a 1000%+ markup for petsmart to put something in a tiny bag and get some kid with 0 knowledge about it to stock and sell me. Walmart doesnt even sell similar feed as reasonably priced. The kind lady running the register was very knowledgeable and instead of selling me something wood for my rabbit to chew she directed me to a park a few blocks away where a short walk from the parking lot to the creek and I was surrounded by cottonwood trees the branches of which she assured me my bunny would love and were a good low impact addition to his diet. We are very lucky to have such wisdom and kindness in our neighborhood. Support this local business.

I am disappointed that this local store who has been receiving accolades for quite some time will not admit that their store bunny deserves a better life than they are providing. Their captive, caged rabbit deserves better than a wired bottom cage, a solitary existence, unclipped nails, a diet without hay and vegetables and most importantly, the love and compassion of human touch. They must not be hurting for business that much as they claimed on the news b/c some lady wants to give him a forever home and pay them over $400 cash!!! As a breeder, they would have sold him for $40.

Great prices on healthy foods that are hard to find elsewhere. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, I always have a great experience here! It's obvious from the high quality of foods they carry that they really care about the health and wellbeing of the animals who will be eating it. I recommend them to everyone.

A 'mom and pop' style shop that sells feed and cages. Simple enough. They keep a rabbit in a small, wired bottom cage, that you can pay to pet. The rabbit is improperly fed and neglected (see image for rabbit's overgrown claws which are painful to walk on and can lead to deformed toes and bad posture. I know this is a fact as I have had a rabbit who lived in a similar situation for many years, she was special needs when I adopted her due to the years of neglect).A quick Google search will tell you that rabbits need 'at least 8 square feet of enclosure space combined with at least at least 24 square feet of exercise space, for 1-2 rabbits, in which the rabbit(s) can run and play at least 5 hours per day'. However, they go by 'breeder housing standards' which is intended for short term living. This cage is adequate for SHORT TERM USE. Not life-long. Years of living like this will lead a rabbit to a shorter, more painful life (muscle atrophy, poor diet, and depression etc.).When confronted with concerns about the rabbit, the shop owners and employees get defensive and rude. They've insulted people (online and directly) who voice their opinions and concerns on the rabbit's care. They also try to silence reviews regarding the rabbit. They're a shop who literally try to remove reviews about their store. They've even taken their Facebook down and removed Yelp reviews. They hail the reviews as 'harassment and elder abuse'. Leaving reviews online for a shop can be considered neither. This is a small shop in a small area, and barely anyone 'pays to pet Zap'. They have been offered $400, cash, on the spot for the rabbit on the premise that they do not replace him with another living animal to be neglected. They have turned this down. There is no way they make enough money off of Zap to justify keeping this up. They're being stubborn and cruel, and that's coming from an objective viewpoint--just considering money alone. They may have a decent selection, but they have no consideration for the animals at all. Keep that in mind when looking for caging and feed.

These folks carry a wider variety of products than many traditional feed stores and are super helpful and knowledgeable. I've found alternative remedies here for my anxious dog, as well as many more poultry products and medications for my chickens than elsewhere. Highly recommend.

This place does not take care of their animals. They have a rabbit that is caged 24/7 and gets no attention. They won't even let customers give it the affection it needs. No extra care is taken to make sure their animals are not neglected. This rabbit needs to be out of its cage and able to move around. They are ignoring customers that have been complaining about it. Not a fit place to be doing anything with animals.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, helped us out last minute before closing with some hay bales that we REALLY needed for our goats (since most feed stores are closed on sundays) so that was cool of them. I didn't see a rabbit there anywhere, hopefully he went to a good home :)

They apparently are not aware that we are in the midst of a pandemic. When I went in today with my mask, I didn't notice that the staff was not wearing masks. I never thought about it since every merchant I visit goes out of their way tom protect themselves and their customers. I should have done a u-turn and left, but didn't. When I left, the clerk said "Happy New Year". I responded "I hope 2021 is better than 2020". She then went into a dialog basically saying that the infected numbers from the virus are up because more testing is being done. Lame excuse for the more than 335,000 deaths. This is sad. I will no longer be a customer when they have that attitude.

These people have a caged, neglected bunny in the store. No bunny should live out his life in a cage. Wire floors are painful, and Zap has to be bored and lonely. Rabbits are intelligent, curious, active creatures, and they need so much more than just a wire box to live in. Bunnies need a neutered friend, lots of room to run and play, and love and attention, as well as a proper diet and nail trims. Anything less is just cruel. These people have turned down an offer to buy Zap and give him a real life in a loving home, and have been lashing out at everyone who is voicing their concerns about this rabbit's welfare. Animal lovers should avoid supporting animal abusers and shop elsewhere.

We have 9 rescued parrots, 8 fish and one very large Great Pyrenees puppy. We wouldn't know what to do without Walker Feed. Their prices are what brought us there in the first place but their friendly, helpful staff is what keeps us coming back. We LOVE Walker Feed!

The owners claim to have over 35 years of experience in rabbit care. However, they keep their rabbit Zap in a tiny cage with a wire floor that is detrimental to the health of his feet. I've seen pictures of his super long nails. Allowing nails to get that long is definitely abusive. Rabbits need 30-40 hours of exercise each week as well as another rabbit to interact with. Without a companion to interact with, a rabbit can become lonely, depressed and die. Rabbits also need access to unlimited hay and fresh green daily. I cannot for certain say he was receiving these items. Based on these facts, I would not trust the information they pass on to their customers.

Have been coming here for years trying to support small business. I went into the store today where the worker was not wearing a mask. I asked her if she could put her mask on and she said she did not have one( seriously this was the response). She said it wasn't the law. Apparently she's unaware that there is a state mandate and has little regard for her community. Won't be coming here again.
