I don’t normally do reviews. Nor do I really do groomers for my animals, I do it myself. However my little mixed short haired chihuahua doesn’t really like anyone trim his nails even me. I finally decided to take him in as his nails were far too long. Ashley was amazing. I couldn’t believe it and gave me a great price. She was able to get him trimmed and he was just as happy as he was before going in when leaving. Would recommend.

I took my dog for a haircut on Friday and they did a horrible job with him. They cut the inside of his ear and almost cut his eye as well. All his hair was uneven cut even his face and ears were cut so badly and uneven . We asked to get his nails filed and that was done either and I'm pretty sure he wasn't given a bath after his haircut it seemed he was rushed. . We paid 75$ plus tip for a bad job.

I take my 30lbs doodle here. He’s been going since he was 16 weeks so he could get used to grooming. They do a very good job of not stressing him out and giving him a good cut. I like that do anal glands, ear & teething as well. Nail trims are standard as well. I got the recommendation from my friend who takes her 3 standard poodles. Since I’ve came I’ve referred a few people who all had great experiences

My pup Mike is a naughty Shorkie who likes to nip and growl and bark in your face if you do things he doesn't like. Such as grooming, nails, or telling him what to do. Ashley handled him like a champ and he was invited back! I highly recommend this place.

Brought my dog in for a last minute grooming. Front desk lady was nice, very open and honest about pricing. My baby English cocker got a simple trim, teeth brushing and nail trimming for $50, not bad! Loved the groomers attention to detail and the feedback from her regarding my dog was professional and helpful. Definitely will make this my to go spot for all my baby’s grooming needs .

We always have a wonderful experience at peoples pups. Our golden has been before and always turns out beautiful! She is also a pain in the butt when it comes to putting her in the kennel but they always accommodate her and make her feel comfortable. Our 135 lb Leonberger who isn’t even a year old yet had his first grooming experience here and he turned out so handsome! I also appreciate that they let you know how your pet did during the groom for future reference. The time and detail they spend on the groom is impeccable and we are always impressed after picking up! If you are looking for an exceptional groomer this is definitely the place!!! The space is adorable, the staff is wonderful and your pet will come back to you looking and smelling phenomenal 😊👍🏼

We took our girl Ms. Debbie for her spa day today first time here and we are beyond thrilled! She is a 21 month old pit bull. She is a bit nervous and People Pup made her feel comfortable and was able to successfully trim and grind her nails. We have been struggling for months with another place that wouldn’t trim her nails because they didn’t want to deal with her anxiety. Ashley and team are absolutely a dream. They treat our dogs with the utmost professionalism. They groomed our dogs for many years before we moved to Florida nearly 2 years ago. We have yet to find a groomer that even compares. I wish I was still able to take my boys to her for their spa days! Could not recommend them more. Take your pets to Peoples Pups!

Ashley is fantastic! She is so good with my dog. The grooming was perfect. The salon is quiet unlike other large grooming centers, which is a big plus for my anxiety prone dog. Scheduling and contacting are professional and courteous. I highly recommend the services at People’s Plus. We’ll be back for sure!

Trust me when I say I don’t like leaving anything but positive reviews. And I don’t mean this to be a negative one. My feelings are this: if you don’t ordinarily do something, please don’t say you do. It’s a waste of everyone’s time.While I have no doubt Ashley is a phenomenal dog groomer, (the reviews speak for themselves), I feel very misled. I was told by Ashley herself that they groom cats. I have Persians and since moving to North Denver, I’ve been unable to find anyone who (consistently) grooms cats. Had I been told that cats are out of their field, I simply moved on. But I was told differently and twice now I have had bad experiences.Cats, especially long haired ones, do get matted. Many cats detest brushing and fight tooth and nail, leaving their owners to scrounge to find a groomer. I was told by Ashley that they groom cats, but it seems that only perfectly manicured, stellar cats are within her range. I have retired today, after a great deal of driving around on my only day off, with a cat that, I was told, was shaven with the exception of her stomach. In reality, she is only half shaved. This comes on the heels of having dropped a rescue cat off to her, not to be called back 20 minutes later and told she was unable to do the job. This is strike two.A fully realized cat groomer has all the necessary tools to deal with mats, hence their name. Twice now I was told by a self professed cat groomer that she simply couldn’t do the job.As inclines as I am to mention the wave of young people coming into the workforce with this entitlement and less than enthusiastic work ethic, and I think we’ve all experienced that in one form or the other, I don’t think this is the case with Ashley. She does excellent dog grooming, or so it seems from the reviews I’ve read. But, for the sake of everyone, don’t claim to be something you’re not. It just creates problems and frustration for people who take the time to come to you, onto to be continually turned away.If you are a dog owner, I have a feeling Ashley and her team may be a great fit. If you are looking for a cat groomer, I implore you to look elsewhere, unless your cat has already been groomed or who is genetically gifted. How does the saying go? Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.There are cat groomers out there, competent ones that are over 45 and do have an orthodox work ethic.

Im absolutely impressed with People Pups and Grooming, my son and I have a cat that needed grooming and our groomer was absolutely amazing, she educated us on our cats cut and what would work best being that it’s our cats first time. Our Cat Taco got a trim and she looks absolutely adorable she smells so good and our groomer even gave us a toy for her and a beautiful collar ❤️🐈

I tried this place out for the first time and booked with the owner, Ashley. My dog felt so comfortable right away. He went in looking rough due to previous cut, and came out looking like a doodle again. He looks AMAZING. She did such an amazing job. I will for sure be going back and using her.

Ashley did a wonderful job with our goldendoodle puppy, who didn’t do well at all at the other place we tried. She was super patient with him, got him a bath and a cut, and gave us suggestions for how to help him for future grooms. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful and low stress experience! Highly recommend especially for cats. I have brought my Persian cat here a couple of times and am so pleased with how fast they are able to get the job done and she doesn’t have to spend hours there! My cat comes out so happy!! We are so thankful!

The team showed incredible patience, care, compassion, and skill to ensure a positive grooming experience. I loved how they only keep dogs there for their appointment and not all day. Before he was finished, the heads up was appreciated so I could get there close to him finishing. Thank you again!

(Before and after pictures) We adopted our Standard Poodle, Hazel, two weeks ago. She was looking scruffy so it was time for a grooming appointment. Jamie (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) did an AMAZING job. She looks like a different dog. She's beautiful and I think she knows it. I set up her next appointment while I was there. Everyone there was really nice and lots of repeat customers/pets as everyone seemed to know each other and their pets. Before we left Hazel got a goodie bag with a toy and was wearing a cute bandana. The pharmacist at the drive thru later thought she was so pretty so she got more cookies. So thank you so much.

Came in for a basic wash and groom for my best buddy. Not only was I met with a very friendly staff but they also provided many tips for taking care of my dogs hygiene. After they were done sprucing him up, he walked out a brand new pup! Almost didn't recognize him! They went above and beyond for even the most basic dog needs. Feb 6th I took my Bernadoodle to Peoples Pup for grooming, as it was my second visit to their establishment. As a newcomer to the area, I'm in search of a reliable grooming spot for my doodle every 8 weeks. Peoples Pup stood out to me for their reasonable pricing, convenient scheduling options, and good reviews online. Additionally, they mentioned they have a ton of experience with doodles, which further motivated me to give them a try.However, my first experience was only okay. Unfortunately, my pup came back with an uneven cut, which was explained as the result of the groomer having to leave due to illness. Given the circumstances, I was willing to overlook this issue.On my second visit, eight weeks later I encountered a different groomer, and it seemed like she might have been lacking in experience. Once again, I reiterated my preferences for my dog's grooming, particularly emphasizing that her long and beautiful eyelashes should not be trimmed. This time, the grooming process took longer than usual, prompting me to inquire about the delay. To my surprise, they had attempted to contact me via text but had sent it to the wrong number, despite having my correct information on file.When my dog was brought out, I was dismayed to see that one set of her eyelashes had been cut down to a 1/4" in length, (right by her eye) while the other set was trimmed down to a full inch. Previously, her lashes were an impressive 4.5 inches long. This has never happened in the five years I've been getting her groomed. Additionally, her overall cut appeared choppy all over her belly, back, sides and the front sides of her face are unevenly trimmed and look choppy. The cut is horrible!When I brought up the issue of the lashes, the owner attributed it to my dog moving during the grooming process, which resulted in an attempt to 'match' them evenly. However, not only do the lashes not match, but I was also disappointed that this wasn't communicated to me when I picked her up; I had to point it out myself. The owner's dismissive attitude towards the situation left me feeling quite dissatisfied. Overall, while I appreciated their pricing and scheduling convenience, the lack of attention to detail and communication regarding significant changes to my dog's appearance was disappointing and concerning. I do not recommend this place if you have a big doodle.

Ashley does an excellent job and my dog loves her! He is always super excited to see her and I don't know what she does to make him fall in love with her. The groom is always expertly done and people always comment on how clean and nice he looks after. I've never seen another dog so excited to go to the groomers!I'd recommend her to anyone! Marble and I are so grateful to have her!
