I stayed after a very arduous hike in the South Colony Basin and wanted some rest before returning home.I booked online in advance. On arrival I was greeted promptly and was given a room and instructions on how to access and where to park.I liked that they were clear with how to check in late and what to do to leave early.I went to my one king bed room and found the room extremely clean. There were plenty of towels, shower products and again, the room in it’s entirety was super clean.I liked how many blankets were available, especially for winter and at Westcliffe’s elevation. I thought that having a personal fan I could use was a nice touch and something I generally don’t sleep without.All in all, the place was as advertised and in a world of hit and miss hotel stays…this one hit the mark and checked all the boxes a hotel should.I’ll be back for sure.

Had the opportunity to spend a few days in Westcliffe and was referred to the Inn by a resident friend and could not have been more pleased with my stay. VERY nice people, an EZ reservations policy and a great, BIG room with HOT water and baseboard heating (slow to heat but SO MUCH better than those creepy electric room heaters with the noisy fan). Cassie at the front desk was very nice to chat with and the view of SDC mountains was spectacular. Really no complaints at all about this place. Thoroughly enjoyed my star. (Food Mart right across the street for late nigh hunger relief....) Westcliffe really is a jewel of a town too.

Wonderful experience for my one night stay! The lady at the front (forgive me I forgot her name) was helpful and friendly. The room had every thing to make my stay convenient and comfortable. The jacuzzi was an amazing way to relax after a long day of driving. Love the bathroom accessories brand, love the smell ! Thanks for your hospitality!Diane Vaughan

Our family vacation spent in the Westcliffe Inn was wonderful. The inn accommodations were super tidy and had everything we needed. Cassie at the front desk was friendly, helpful and accommodated every request we made over our 5 night stay including adjoining rooms. The bedding was very comfortable, the coffee maker in our room, the on premises hot tub and the spectacular view from our room of the mountains added to our very pleasant stay. Westcliffe is a quaint town with lots of friendly folks. It’s perfect to take day trips to Royal Gorge, Salida and Florence. The Westcliffe is the best place to stay!

Really a perfect place to stay to soak in the awesome dark sky viewing in Westcliffe. Service was over and above, and the room was particularly clean and comfortable.Another stay this past weekend, and still a wonderful experience. Room was perfect, this time with my wife and daughter. This hotel is an excellent place to call home for your dark sky adventure!Nearby activities: Minutes away from everything I wanted to see and experience.

I called the hotel several days before arriving because I wanted to change the room I had reserved to a different room and was able to make that change without a hitch. Then after arriving in Westcliffe I realized we would be arriving after 8 o’clock and made a phone call, and they arranged for us to get a key and instructions via email. All went smooth, and we appreciated their attention to our needs. Room was very clean and comfortable. Good folks.

The rooms are clean and tidy. Good place to stay! The hotel was busy with the summer customers, but you could tell the hotel staff and management was working hard to ensure that the room was ready and clean on time for check-in. We liked the soft bedding and blankets that they had...not the normal thin bed comforters that standard hotels have.

I stayed here in 2019 and realize there are new owners. The stay then was great and it was also great this time. Bed was comfy, shower was also great. Coffee and fridge were user friendly.Used the hot tub and enjoyed it, so bring a suit! Mountain views are fabulous.So what could be better? I believe there is a breakfast place next door, which I did not have a chance to check out. Perhaps the motel could work out a "deal" with them to have a coupon toward the purchase of a breakfast, which the motel does not supply.All in all, I really enjoyed this place. Would go back in a heartbeat. Bet wishes to the "new" owners.p.s. They give a military discount on week days!

Staff here were very helpful with my late check-in and even a post checkout favor. Room 120 was very clean and well laid out to help me move in, use the room, and check out with all my stuff. The Westcliffe area is beautiful and interesting, so I can see why one of my fellow guests decided to spend another week there as a base of operations for tourism in the area.

Views of the mountains for all rooms except the back row. Clean, comfortable and good mattress. Needs USB charging capability on the tech side but I had my converter block so no biggie. Great town and omnipresent views of those beautiful mountains.Nearby activities: The Alvarado campground and trail access to the mountains is minutes away.

Let's see?Arrived after hours,but checking in was as easy as it gets.The room was very well maintained and as clean as any that I've seen.The water pressure in the shower was awesome as well as the hot water.Very large screen TV with a great signal.Wifi worked perfectly.Very clean and comfortable bed.The entire room was very welcoming and a absolute pleasure to stay in.I highly recommend the Westcliffe Inn to anyone traveling in the area.You will love it.
