Over time, I’ve grown MORE—not less fond of this ACE Hardware. Sure, there are always shortcomings to nitpick, but MANY of those issues have been drastically improved in the last 5 years. Even at that time, there was grace for our small town’s hardware store. Flash forward to 2024 and this really is a top-notch ACE and its presence in our isolated little valley is critical… for the jobs, but also for the services and materials we are able to source here. Really can’t say enough good things about this beacon of competence.

Love going to Valley Ace Hardware. Friendly and courteous staff help find whatever you’re looking for and don’t mind helping. And they can order whatever you might be in need of. Very knowledgeable staff. I make it a priority to shop with them over Home Depot. Support the local guys and gals who care.

Good store, very good location. Employee must carry items to your car, which is ok. However, we had 4 dogs, and the employees should walk away if asked. The items from within being paid for and outside the door and all. We respect the store policies, but they need to respect customer responsibility too. It just made a stop more stressful than needed.

This is the BEST Hardware store I have ever been in. They are always expanding the store and have sections that make things easy to find. I was looking for a weed Wacker and they offered to put it together to help me decide if I could handle using it. Their staff is so well trained and nice it makes shopping there a pleasure. They have items you can never find in Pueblo. The parking is huge. The views alone are worth the trip, Yes the views. Westcliff is a gem that's a short drive from Pueblo with great shopping!

Owning a cabin outside of Westcliffe, and all the maintenance that goes with it, I hardly consider it a trip to Westcliffe if I don't make a visit to Valley Ace. They don't have everything, and the remoteness warrants higher prices, but their willingness to help customers simply cannot be found at other hardware stores. In the event they do not have what I'm looking for, I know that I will leave with a recommended alternative and save me an hour drive to the next closest hardware store.

Always helpful employees ,store is always spotless and well stocked.Cashier not the friendliest but efficient in her duties.Would be an all around great experience if she were friendlier to the customers. Very cold and impersonal, never seen her smile after well over 50 visits.Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable very impressed with their eagerness to help.The young lady in power tools is always willing to help without reservations.Youve got a great establishment and will always recommend to anyone.

So we took our craftsman lawn mower to be fixed at the Ace Valley hardware in Westcliffe Colorado. We took it on a Sunday and the man there told us to bring it and to leave it in the back and come back in the store so he could take down our information and he would get on it sometime during that week and let us know how much it was going to be to fix. Over a week later we still hadn’t heard we need to mow so we called. They had already ordered parts didn’t ever bother to call us or let us know how much it was gonna be to fix and what needed fixed. So the lady said well you couldn’t have brought it on Sunday because the service department is not open on Sunday and I said but we did bring it on Sunday he told us to bring it on and leave it outback. So then she went and talked to them and came back on the phone, and said that they ordered the parts but, they’re not here yet and I told her, you ordered the parts? He was supposed to let us know what was wrong with it and call us back to let us know how it was going to cost!!! So I had to pry out of her what they were doing! She seemed very irritated at me and I started to say something else and she hung up on me. I guess employees don’t care about good customer service anymore I’ve been met with irritated employees there on a couple of occasions! I’m really not very happy with Ace Valley hardware in Westcliffe Colorado!

This is the best Ace Hardware store I have ever been in. It's huge and they also have some great gifts. I saw some gorgeous ladies handbags. They are just beautiful and express the southwest. Parking is great and the view is breathing taking. They have expanded since I have been there but sadly I don't get to West Cliff as often as I would like.They have a ton of knowledgeable staff I think even more than Walmart. They do not chase you down but you DO NOT have to go look more than a few feet for someone. Being disabled I so appreciate that. They are an almost one stop shopping except for food. Even if your just visiting Colorado you can be sure to find souvenirs in this awesome Ace Hardware store. Enjoy!

I want to give two outstanding associates, Kimberly and Terri. a round of applause and 5 stars for their exceptional work at Ace. On different days, my family and I were at Ace getting ideas for cabin projects. Terri and Kimberly were so focused and kind in helping us with our possible ideas. I've been around the mountain a few times and I know excellent customer service and true dedication when I see it. These two associates really shine!! Thank you Kimberly and Terri for all of the positive things you do to help make our Valley Ace so special and unique!!!!

Ok selection, prices tend to be a bit higher than average. Depending on the project or amount of supplies needed it becomes more cost effective to drive to the city to shop. Cheapest place in the valley that I know of for a propane tank fill. Hours have been expanded until 6pm which is a huge help when you have a lot going on in such a small town.

Normally I go in there. Everybody is very nice. That was the case today. I had a few different representative show me two different things that I need it. Problem came when I asked about getting there reject wood that was out in the parking lot one of the clerks there was very rude about it. I was asking about spending money. No need to be rude

This is an absolutely invaluable store. We built our home largely from what we could source here at Valley Ace Hardware. They helped us from day one and still do now ten years later.I can't see any sense in traveling to other places when the majority of what you need is right here or a phone call away from being ordered.Shop local and it'll pay you back dividends. Great store with great staff!

My mom repeatedly went in to buy a piece for her sink, she was treated very poorly by Tim. He was rude and told her she did not need what she went in there for, even though the piece she needed was necessary for the maintenance work she needed done. My husband and I ended up going to a different hardware store in salida to buy what she needed. Definitely not a helpful staff member.
