My kids were craving for ice cream and we just walked in here. Such a nice local store. The ice cream is local made. The staffs were so kind and nice. They have a lunch section too. Everything is freshly made. A must go if you visit Westcliffe, CO.

This former grocery store with tin ceiling is an absolute gem.According to the employees the building is old…at least 50 years old. Who knows how old, but what I can tell you is it was built by a true artist.There is plenty of space. The front door stays open. The flags sway in the wind. Note the mountain top mural on the wall above the ice cream bar.Try the food. It’s very good. Do NOT pass up on a fudge brownie affogato.You can tell the owner’s have a meticulous attention to detail, and they are attending to a perfect place for ice cream, coffee, tea, or a bite to eat.

Visiting Westcliffe on Memorial weekend and noticed the new business name. So we decided to stop in for lunch. Very spacious interior with the post Covid-19 lifestyle in play. Had a delicious chicken salad sandwich and side of macaroni salad and my wife had turkey, swiss and bacon. Also serving breakfast with a nice selection of coffee, pastries and ice cream too!

Ate here for the first time and it was amazing! I've never had chicken salad that had pineapples but it was great. The ice cream is probably the best I've ever had. I also got an Americana coffee and it was very good! Highly recommend this place. Very nice rustic set up with great customer service

When we make our way out here, this is our go-to sandwich stop! Great food, delicious ice cream. I recommend the coconut flavor & the Bakti Chai is so good and spicy! Friendly staff & neat items/trinkets all around the spot.**Always greet your customers & acknowledge their presence, even if there’s a wait. Our first time going in the experience was about a 3 star because no one greeted us while we stood there for about 10 - 15 min & the girls seemed a bit frantic. Just remember to say hello. Even a smile goes a long way! When it gets busy, we as customers DO understand. But if you don’t acknowledge people when they are waiting, it feels a little weird. ;)

So far I haven’t found a coffee shop that compares to sugar lump as far as cleanliness and the quality of coffee…. The friendly staff is probably 60 percent of why I come in every morning and afternoon. I would 100 percent recommend this place over other shops in town!!

Delicious breakfast in a clean & cozy atmosphere; the panini pressed burrito with chipotle or honey mustard sauce is truly something special. We showed up early and claimed the best seat in the house. The brown leather sofa invited us road warrior travelers to slow down, sip some warm coffee, flip the paper and let my soul recharge. The lemon pie ice cream was rich and totally worth it.

We stopped in after a long road trip of driving in the mountains.We have 3 young boys under 4, and this place offers free lunch bags for kids. It has an area with couches that were perfect for them since they were cramped in the truck.The food was delicious, and the ice cream, I believe, is from Risiotos in the Springs but still really good.

I understand the prices of food have gone up, but I'm not sure that much for bread, cheese and meat. $10-12 for just a sandwich is a bit much. They didn't really stand out either. The store was clean and cozy. The cashier didn't seem very friendly and was impatient. Maybe it was a hectic day. I would rather spend $20 at subway unfortunately before I spent $55 there again. :/

Delicious coffee drinks and breakfast bagels in a laid-back atmosphere. This is a great spot to start your day. I like a good Americano, and Sugarlump has the best in town. We usually get a couple pastries on the way out, too. All of them are great, so you can't go wrong. Can I also say they have cool t-shirts? I bought one a couple years ago, and I still wear it every week. Nice!Parking: plenty of nearby parking on the street. easy!

This is a place you must stop at while in Westcliffe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the wildflower or lavender frozen lemonade!They have some of the nicest high end souvenir tees here as well as hats, stickers, campy gifts and cups. There are souvenir items that are different than other shops in town.The dining room area is huge and when the weather is nice there are several dining tables along the sidewalk.There's a nice clean bathroom. The staff is very kind.The pecan rolls -when fresh- are out of this world!Vegetarian options: Although the sandwiches are premade and then heated, there is something for vegetarians on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They do NOT have gluten free buns, bread, or bagels. Sadly, my friends have to order from down the street and then meet up to dine together.There's a good assortment of scoopin' ice creams and cones... sorbet for the lactose intolerant.Kid-friendliness: There's a small table and comfy sofa along with a few busy toys. Sugar lump has lots of water bottle stickers, little zipper pouches, kids books and t-shirts for sale.

This is such a lovely little shop! The employees are so sweet and it shows that they want to provide an enjoyable experience for each customer. The coffee is great (the specials are so fun and unique!) and service is quick! If you have a moment, definitely take a peek at the adorable retail they offer! The store is kept neat and tidy, too! We had about 40 people, many more than planned for this town. Most of us came to Sugarlump Co. and they didn't blink an eye and took care of everyone quickly. Amazing service and smiles. The espresso milkshake was awesome. These people are awesome

Located on a cozy corner of Main St. sits this quaint Cafe. Plenty of indoor seating, or sit outside. The service is impeccable and they offer an impressive menu. I love their original coffee drinks, which they offer with plant milk alternatives to enjoy; if you're the type that doesn't care to ingest animal secretions:)

We each got a medium two scoop cup of goodness from Sugarlump!! The scoops were quite large and I think the medium was $5.70. Everyone was really nice, they moved quickly through the reasonable line and it was amazing ice cream. I loved the Grasshopper mint one. We appreciated the puppy treats too (small cups of whipped cream). We will come back here when we're in the area for sure!
