The room was extremely clean and warm, which was nice. Corner shower is a bit small , but certainly worked fine. Bed was comfortable and the large fridge was appreciated as well as the treats left by mgmt. The Vizio TV was a little annoying because it took a long time to compute every button pushed, but overall a positive experience. Will stay here again.

Me and my husband was there in September 9-11 2023 celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary we loved it so much alone with the great town. We will be coming back in June 2024.Nearby activities: The whole town is just amazing.

The room was clean and larger than expected and the gift basket of snacks were greatly appreciated after our unexpectedly late arrival. The contactless check in and check out was also a pleasant surprise.My only complaint about Dark Sky Suites would be the lack of darkness. For a location that advertises itself to stargazers the bright white lights in front of every door diminishes the experience. A switch to red lights, or at least dimmer white once would make a vast improvement.

Location was great, walking distance from town. Rooms were recently updated and very clean when we arrived. The only negative was the lack of housekeeping. For the cost, I expected a quick clean up (empty trash, fresh towels,etc) but because they are short staffed there was nothing done other than pulling the trash the one time I was able to catch someone outside. It is a small thing, but the 2 trash cans are tiny any barely fit a day worth of trash, especially when I cooked a meal. I would stay here again but a bit of housekeeping during our 4 night stay would have made a better experience.

We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were spotless and newly renovated. They take Covid precautions seriously as well which is huge. The location is right next to everything so you can grab groceries or food in the morning with a short walk. They have pet friendly rooms as well as which is great! Everyone was very nice and helpful on our stay. We got stuck in the town due to an unexpected snow storm and they made finding a safe clean space easy and enjoyable. Thank you everyone for having such a welcoming cute place to stay the night!

This place is like a hidden gem. Very clean and modern. We really enjoyed our night here and wished we actually could have enjoyed more then just a nights sleep there. Our visit was quick for business and this place definitely helped provide the we needed before our long drive. Check in & out are super easy and convenient.Below was our view when we left

Perfect location. Close to restaurants and convenient if you're hoping to stop by the observatory or grocery store. We stayed in 205 and had beautiful views of the mountain range. The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need to make a meal and the bed/pillows were comfy. Check in and check out was very simple and I especially love the keyless entry.The only drawback to this place is that the walls were pretty thin. We had the pleasure of hearing some impressive snoring all night.

My wife and I took an overnight trip to Westcliffe and we found Dark Sky Suites. The rooms we clean and very nice. I would recommend telling visitors that the rooms have a kitchen and that the rooms are around the corner from the main door on the side. A little confusing but still an awesome time. Hey! This place is SUPER. Newly renovated and thoughtful layouts to the rooms makes this a great getaway spot. I am working remotely from NYC; I liked the fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, soap/shampoo/conditioners dispensers, workspace/desk, and overall bright décor. Plus the VIEWS - and proximity to town. I am going to stay a week next time.

Dec21,2021. Location: convenient; Room: clean & comfortable. So, why 2?...because Dark Sky Suites, contrary to its name and ESPECIALLY the town, stays lit up like a big city disco! 3 huge spotlights in front, bright lights above each door. In a safe area, a designated dark sky city, it’s glaringly harsh. The brightest place in town save for one store. I wondered if the owners have even been to Westcliffe? Please, turn out or at least significantly dim your lights and respect the area!!

Super Clean (no dust anywhere, not even under the bed!) and comfortable. Parkings a bit of a bother if your like me in a big U-Haul & towing a dollyed car. Still it wasn't too difficult.I showed up after hours, called the number on the sign and 15 minutes later I was in room. They are furnished with dish's, pots and pans. A full stove and fridge.

A great place! It's got all the essentials for a long stay, was nice and clean, the beds were comfy. Great location near west edge of town with grocery store, restaurants, and shops nearby. Contact free check in and check out. I was a little nervous because I don't have good cell phone coverage in Westcliffe and was worried I wouldn't get the access code until after I was out of my coverage area, since they don't send it until after 3pm on your check in day. I was okay, but if you're in a similar boat there are several businesses with wifi to check your email, try Sugarlump, very close by. Anyway! Downsides were the AC was very loud, and we were on the first floor so had a lot of stomping from upstairs.
