This is our go-to liquor store when visiting. Pricing is great. At times, the selection can be limited, making it a great opportunity to ask for a recommendation and try something new. :)Pro tip: If visiting over a holiday or during a major event and you need ice, make sure to go early!!

Very nice place to stay in town. Quiet, even though you’re on the Main Street. Basic and well priced.I recommend staying if you’re planning to stay a few days or overnight. Personally, I’d rather support a local motel, than pay extra fees to rent a small efficiency.Deer were right outside the room just about everyday which was very awesome to watch.If we are back in town we will definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay when coming into town for work. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the price affordable. Having the liquor store and general store attached is a plus for anything you left behind. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I am impressed with the selection of wine and beer for such a remote location. Also, the bed was very comfy, I slept like a baby! Definitely recommend for anyone coming to town just looking for a clean, comfy place to crash and be out and about during the day. Thanks for hosting me!

Teeny tiny room with a queen bed, a twin bed, an itsy bitsy bathroom and just enough room on the floor for a twin air mattress. Bathroom was clean, but room floor could have been cleaner. It was gritty and didn't seem like it had even been swept.BUT, location is great, bed and pillows were good! Only here for a quick overnight, so it for sure did the trick and I'm grateful to have saved money by staying here! Would stay again if passing through.

AFFORDABLE!!!! In town just for a wedding just for the night, excellent small place to crash! Nothing fancy, but clean comfy bed, clean bathroom, and Netflix. Location was perfect, right on the middle of town, and attached to a liquor store 👌🏾

We probably shouldn't admit how many times each week we stop here to stock up our beverage supply at home, ha ha...this is the best place to buy beer/liquor in Custer County! Amazingly huge selection that has reliable staples, in addition to a rotating selection of all kinds of goodies. Don't see what you want? Just ask the owner, Brian, and he'll order whatever you've got a hankering for! Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful.We've never stayed at the motel, but we had 3 friends come in last October for hunting season who stayed here, and they were very pleased with the amenities and price.

Truly Local beer and liquor selection was pretty much non-existent but if you are looking for the normal nationally distributed stuff they have you covered. The staff was great and helpful just didn't have the local items I was hoping they would. Edit: The owner could have taken my feedback and tried to make some adjustments but decided to just make fun of me instead. Pretty sad when the I am just looking to support local breweries and distilleries during a pandemic.

We had a non-smoking room, however with the smoking room below us, and not having A/C, we had to deal with their smoke....The rooms are very small. Wanted to use the closet for clothes but it was full of construction equipment and paint. Overall cleanliness was very unsatisfactory. We didn’t like the fact that you had to pay with your card only and not cash. It seems very un-American. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

Good place to stay for the price. Nice and clean, but the wash cloths smelled soiled. I would definitely stay here again, and customer service was awesome. They held a room without charging my credit card until I got here.

I found myself in a bad situation while passing thru Westcliffe. I'm not from this county, and didn't know what to do or where to get my car looked at. The service rep at the store was awesome, as was the selection. Thanks Sherry!Also, the owners responses to these reviews are amazing, and fully warranted. The industry is no stranger to me. Particularly in South CO.

Had an accident heading toward Salida late in the evening... wonderful gentleman got us in a room after hours with no complaint. Comfortable rooms nice beds. Very thankful for the service here! Amazing people in this town forsure!!

First, I want to say, we own property in the San Luis Valley and have been visiting Westcliff for over 30 years. This stay we checked in late as we were running behind on our schedule. The price was fair if everything had been clean and what is expected at a minimum for a hotel stay, but, that was not the case. The bedspread was filthy, there was no extra roll of toilet paper, no kleenex, no shampoo or conditioner, no chest of drawers or closet for clothing, no hair dryer - it had apparently been removed as there was the standard holder, no fan as there is no a/c so room was stuffy until the early morning temps cooled the room. We actually rented two rooms and the same in each room, but the other room the TV did not work. When we asked the man on duty about the shampoo and/or conditioner we were told "there was none" and "we should contact the owner, Brian Clints, about our complaints". Seeing how the owner has responded to the other customer complaints, we don't expect that anything will be changed. Had we had any alternative, we would have stayed elsewhere. We will definitely not stay here again.

Great beer, malt liquor, liquor and wine selection. For a small store it covers the bases. They have a large walk in beer cooler which is awesome on hot days haha. There is a convenience store attached to the other side so all your mixers, ice and snack needs are covered to. We love this place, everyone is always friendly.

FANTASTIC, TOP-NOTCH BEERS. The Antler Liquor Store's beer selection was phenomenal. I visited during Oktoberfest season and was astounded by the variety and quality of offerings from Bavaria. Being located in a small town, I was thinking I might be lucky to find, say, Blue Moon. And, yes, they did have that, but there was so much more, all in a walk-in cooler. The Antler Liquor Store will be a regular stop for me whenever I am in the Silver Cliff-Westcliffe area.

For a small town (for any town...) this little store rocks a great beer selection. Walk in cooler. Get there early on summer weekends because they're so popular they do run out of budmilloor beers and can run out of ice. They've got a good selection of craft beer. Don't worry... They might run out of your beer, but they never run out of beer!

Friendly staff. Stopped by when visiting town and was greeted by who I assume is the owner. Very friendly and we visited. Said he was familiar with where we were from. Anyways, good selection and even gave us a calendar with hilarious headings.

I like this place for sentimental reasons. The rooms where comfy and affordable. Heat doesn't work super great and the bathtub really needed cleaned. All in all it was a good stay.

Best deal in Westcliffe, and the nicest folks work here. And they're currently upgrading the motel as the town is doing the same. Come visit you won't be disappointed.

NOTHING fancy. Bed, chair, table, sink, shower, toilet (one of each) :)The evening clerk checked us in and held a room for my Jeeping buddy even though i didn't know if he'd stay. He did and was glad because another place in town was 2X more. Free coffee coupon at a nearby shop.
