The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly, giving advice for gear that they actually use! The best place to go for outdoor gear in the area, and probably the whole state of Colorado!!

Tom and his wife are awesome! This is a great shop to stop by when in the area. If you are missing or forgot something for your journey, good luck finding it elsewhere for miles.Also if you have questions or are seeking advice for any outdoor adventures in the state, they will be able to assist and happily do so.They are approaching the one year anniversary of their new location ( next door to the previous), it was awesome to see them growing and succeeding!

After hiking the Venable Creek trail, we stopped in at All the Range Mountaineering because it was one of the few businesses open on Sunday afternoon. What a treat and an education from Tom. The customer service provided and the knowledge shared was outstanding. We will visit again the next time we are in the area.

All the Range is a fantastic outdoor and mountaineering store. My family and I just spent a week in the area. We peeked our heads in All the Range just to browse. We discovered an absolute gem of a store and ended up buying a few things for our trip. The next day I had to exchange an item unexpectedly and Tom (the owner) was very gracious and helpful.Tom is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. He’s a man who turned his passion into a profession and his passion shows in his store. The store is small, but the selection is very good and you can find you what you need for your outdoor pursuits. He knows the area really well so All the Range is a good place to stop by and ask questions about activities, trails or any other activity you plan to pursue. If you are staying in the area or just passing through I highly recommend stopping by All the Range.Thanks, Tom! You helped make our trip great!!

I bought a pair of hiking shoes back in June; just had to have them but they were one size too big so I hung on to them, only to make a trip this weekend and I was so graciously allowed to exchange them for the correct size !THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! The owners, Tom and his lovely wife, were very helpful in the successful summit of Humbolt Peak for two of my daughters and me. Tom spent significant time (selflessly) both on the phone (ahead of our trip) and at their store making sure we had the information necessary for a safe and successful summit. We stopped in a week ago and had a great experience! The owner (and maybe his son?) we very friendly and great to chat with. They were very helpful with information on things to do around Westcliffe and not pushy at all on their own products. In fact, we didn't even end up buying anything this time, and they gave us a couple of stickers (which we are already displaying)! This is a great place - we'll be back!

If you make only one stop in Westcliffe before going into the backcountry, it should be a visit to All the Range. Thomas, the proprietor, is a true outdoors expert, not just in terms of selecting and fitting gear, but particularly in helping you prepare based on the season, your intended location and even down to the expected hours of your outing. The shop carries only top-flight gear that is both reliable and efficient on the mountain and comfortable on the street. Prices are competitive and the value outstanding when coupled with knowledgeable, thoughtful advice and attentive service. Thomas also carries the best maps and guide books, stays updated on weather and road conditions and provides practical insight on things you might not think to ask.

All the Range is a must-stop if you are in town! The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and are always willing to help you find what you need. Also, they have a wide range of gear, and it’s all high quality. So if you forgot a trail essential, or you need a larger piece of gear, it’s a great place to stop in.

Love this store! It's my favorite shop when visiting West Cliff because they have such awsome merchandise and the owners are so welcoming every time I visit. I would definitely recommend checking out this place!

A friend and I were very excited to travel to Westcliffe and hike in the beautiful Sangre de Christos. Our first planned stop? All The Range. Based on the photos and reviews we were very excited to give them our business and chat up the employees. We drove 12+ hours from Missouri, arrived 2 hours before closing time on Saturday to find out they were closed. We were disappointed but said we'd come back Sunday during business hours. We planned a long hike around it to make it back before they closed. They weren't open. Confused and disappointed we waited until today...our last day to find out they were still closed during posted business hours. We asked neighboring business owners what the deal was and they seemed confused and concerned as well.Im sure the owners are good people, but that's not the point. This hasn't left me with a good impression. Behavior like this speaks volumes..Very unprofessional (poor planning, not effectively using/communicating with their resources and lack of basic business etiquette principles) in my experience. I'll be back and hopefully next time they'll be open when they say they are, or at least let people know somehow that they won't be.

Awesome store and awesome owners. I was surprised how stocked the store was during a time when getting outdoor activities inventory is very hard (thanks Covid). Also, thank you for your recommendation on going to South Colony Lakes. The trail was barely snow covered and we got to hike to the top of Humboldt and stayed 2 nights at the upper lake. We appreciate your help with finding a trail for us to do while visiting Westcliffe from FL, and all the info you shared with us. Already have the sticker on my water bottle and wore my shirt on the plane ride home!

Tom has a great selection for climbing, hiking, and camping at his shop, and he knows it all really well. He is a great guy to go in and talk to whether you are in need of some gear to buy, or if you need advice about the Sangres or any ranges in CO.
