Stop in fuel is usually cheaper here than anywhere Rhee in the area also is about a dime cheaper than in the closets city. They gave all the regular convenience store items with an added plus they also sell clothing garments. So this is really a good stop if your not prepared for the weather they have coats , gloves , abd hats ect.

Was hauling heavy equipment out of Commerce City, Colorado East on I-70 and needed fuel before getting myself into a next fuel 100 miles situation, so I stopped in Watkins, Colorado at the Watkins Truck and Auto Plaza. I mean, it isn't modern in structure like any Loves, Petro, or T/A, as the plaza is old and weather beaten, yet you can find whatever you need here, as like Loves, Petro, or T/A, I found the Plaza to be fully stocked, hospitable, and the prices for all fuels (DEF included) were actually quite a bit less than around the Denver area. No problems whatsoever using my company's Fleet card. Plenty of parking for tractor/trailers and autos. Places to shower, eat, and sleep. And the best part, I thought the staff/employees there were pretty courteous, helpful, and good people. Easy access off of I-70, no matter if you're heading East or West.

I enjoy stopping here when I take my drive out to Watkins every month... but if i get there before the other gas station closes I prefer to go there!! So much more selection and great pizza as well as a much much more friendly staff working there!! The people who work at this place are generally pretty grumpy!

Always a place to pick up little things when you need them most. The plug-in charger stopped working and they carried several. Good survival stuff while on the road - snacks, drinks, electronics and clean bathrooms.

Potholes , muddy, great price. 3 stars for parking n price. Service is horrible! Cashier rude n sarcastic. No cashier at desk to busy stocking. Makes drivers wait at fuel cashier till he gets someone on other one n takes care of them first. I guess $20 gas is more important than $400 diesel.

Gentleman working at the store was the only one there during a busy time. At least 10 customers easily and he maintained his cool as all were quickly assisted and checked out quickly. Very professional and pleasant with all customers. Place could have been a bit cleaner or stocked up with coffee and hot to go good items, but overall rest of store looked good. Parking lot needs work, was a rough ride in and out of the lot.

The staff here are some of the best folks in the world, maybe even in all of colorful Colorado. Got a friendly greeting just for walking in! Thank you!! We had no trouble getting on the road thanks to a friend on the run and on account of we didn’t want any hot dog. I said get us to Watkins, and the man next to me pushed down on the gas pedal and roll on four wheeeler roll on! He put gas into the car so that the pedal could keep working it’s magic clear into Kansas, I went inside where I found water, coffee, flavor packets with different states on em (they got a chicago hot dog sauce packet). Pamphlets are around back and they got a good one on all that I-70 has to offer. Biggest barn in Kansas is a wonder to all. Topped up the coffee, set it out front for the boys like hogs to the slop. Free spoon if you need that too to eat breakfast. Very nice stuff here Keep it up!

Be advised that if you are getting diesel with any type of fleet card, they will not accept it as payment until after 11pm. They don’t have anything posted regarding this policy and the “manager” is pretty rude. Says they won’t do it simply because the ladies that handle paperwork don’t like it! What a way to run a “truckstop.” Don’t waste your time unless it’s after 11pm!

Cheap diesel, crazy potholes in the parking lot, bathroom was ok, but not the best.Cashier was very nice and very helpful, but overall you get what ya pay for.Will probably get diesel ⛽️ here again.👍🏽

Tomahawk has great staff and service. Robbie and Reggie do a fantastic job managing and operating. Their showers are clean and maintained. Also management is sufficient as well as friendly. Their gas prices are competitive and lower than the competitor in the area. Cant wait to return and get my shower and rest!

This place is run down for sure, but their gas prices for unleaded and diesel are typically cheaper than Bennetts.

I've been to this store several times and I have always been impressed with the service there. They are always busy on both sides of the counter,(truckers getting fuel and gasoline patron side) but, nevertheless haven't stood in line long at all. I would have given five stars but I wasn't too happy with the coffee bar.....none made. Other than that I would recommend this place.
