Meh. We live 20 minutes more into the mountains and I often find I would rather pay 40% more in our tiny town store, or drive to Pueblo to get higher quality foods at Natural Grocers, or even occasionally up to Costco. Often their meats and veggies/fruits are on their last legs. It is nice to have in a bind, but expect it to be about 10-20% more expensive than the city with about 30% worse quality, and it's hard to stock up because it will probably go bad within a couple days.

There are several people who work here that are kind and courteous . You will run into a few that are stuck up, rude, and seem prejudice. However nowadays where do you not run into some people like that. Best thing is just pass the bad on by. And concentrate and appreciate the good ones that you come across.

Why would I go back too just be told you know you can't be in here get out and Safeway over the years have said so many times that they don't want my business but I was the one that did not get it and kept going and shopping but this last time I took the time to listen really good and they really don't want me in their business so I don't go and that's good for all of us

Love the staff feels like family when shopping. Now I have my buisiness also advertised in the grocery carts at Safeway. I love this Grocery store home away from home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5 stars to Adam the manager and Alex the cashier: excellent customer service. Thank you for your kindness and patience! Worked diligently on some pricing issues and were very kind and friendly.Safeway needs to FIX THE APP. None of the digital coupons and sale prices EVER ring up correctly and it is insanely frustrating. For the working class folks, sales and specials are what bring them in and every one buys a few extra items while shopping. Customers need to be able to trust that the prices advertised will be what they are charged at the checkout counter. It is embarrassing AF to have to request the sale price when it is labeled and advertised as a certain price. Please fix the app.

It's good the people are nice. I'm just used to a bigger Safeway that has a bakery and a little more variety in the store as far as foods like chips an bread ect.

Easy to find items that you need and are well stocked. Smell clean; the staff is very helpful. The deli kid (I wish I could remember his name) is so sweet and helpful. He wants to help and go the extra mile.

Nice folks, clean store. Hard to get the veggies you want consistently, and other essentials. Tourist tend to clean the store out leaving not much for the locals.If you're coming in from out of town, stock up in your own city first.

Hey y'all I've have been shopping in this store for some years and I've been racially profiled physically assaulted and then if you are not watching they will cheat you and charge you for itimesyou don't have they don't want your business if you are of color in Safeway and it's just amazing how no black people are allowed in Safeway and corporate never gets back too you if you are black and have problems in anyone store

Traveling through. Stopped to pick a few things and use the restroom. Safeway generally has a reputation for dirty restrooms, but this one was pretty clean. Only one restroom though.

Shop here often, supply is finally getting better. For months not all normal items in stock. But that was the case everywhere. Hopefully soon they build a bigger store with all the features of full size store. ( bakery, deli, flower depth, ect) store employees say they are currently seeking a larger location.

I think they have better prices than the other grocery store in town. I really like their clearance area. For being a small town grocery store they have a pretty wide selection. The staff is hit or miss. The butchers are wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The lady who works in the customer service booth is very friendly. The checkers not so much. often they won't even make eye contact with you. They ignore you when you point out discounted items and ring them up at full price. They look and act like they hate their jobs. I hate that I get fuel points but there is no where to use them close by. Over all if you have to pick between grocery stores I would pick them.

The one restroom for customers was absolutely disgusting. Had to wait in line for what was worse than than outhouse experience. Never going back to shop or anything else.

Thank you for providing a super clean bathroom! And thanks for the hot water warning sign! This place was a nice 'welcome back to civilization' grocery store after being camping in the mountains for a few days!At the time of me being here: They have social distancing reminder signs, require masks, & markers on the floors to help foot traffic.

For such a small town the selection and quality of many foods was unbelievable. We even bought 5 pounds of cheese to lug home with us. Employees are nice too, wish I had this nearby.

They have really good meat dept as we stocked up on steak and chicken breast.They had a good selection of most stuff.They do not have a deli counter but they do have a good selection of packaged deli meat.They have a good selection of bread but did not have fresh baked bread that we could find.The prices were a little high.

This store is the best grocery store in town. I shop at this store on a weekly basis at all different times. I was in here this afternoon and All the staff was nice and helpful, cashiers and managers work hard to get customers checked out , clerks are helpful. Store is clean and this store practices social distancing and sanitizes their carts.

Safeway usually has most of my needs although I always have to go other places because they lack a lot of things. The staff kind of suck. Maybe like two percent are cool but the rest are not so friendly. There is plenty of free parking and they also have a place to get water, and movie box. Plus it is in a very convenient area.

My experience is mostly good. Employee's always helpful. Corporate has not invested much (interior signage poor) but the store is open, and I have been a loyal Safeway shopper for more than 40 years. I depend on the store. Did I mention I live right down the street?

I like this store very much and I think they do a great job for the most part. However, I believe they are failing at handling the pandemic properly. It seemed like a great idea to have all the aisles goung one way, but people are not following instructions and the employees are doing nothing to enforce it. Also, despite the sign that says masks are required by state mandate, this store allows people inside with no masks or with masks worn improperly. I appreciate all the first responders who still go to work so we can buy groceries, but they need to get tougher and crack down on the rules. You need to make the store a safe place for us to shop for our families without bringing home deadly germs. I am sure once the pandemic is over this will again be my regular store.

On duty manager and checkout clerk were very helpful with navigating the "just for U" app and the Safeway site for redeeming discounts. On that note, the app itself is terrible in as much as how many "hoops" a person must jump through to get the discounts. How about forget the whole site/app thing and just lower the prices overall for members.
