I live in the area and will not be coming back to this family dollar as there is a man that works there that wears a mask and he is very rude everytime I go in, For absolutely no reason. Everyone else that works there is friendly, But this man should not be working a customer service job! 😒

My friend and I traveled from Florence Colorado to Walsenburg. We was meeting someone and had time to kill and was going to spend some money. I went to get a cart for my friend to hang on to, I couldn't bring the cart outside. We are both in our mid 60s with COPD and wear oxygen.The store was nice and clean and well stocked. This man came around the corner said to my friend, "Put your mask on". She continued shopping and had to pull her mask off her face to help catch her breath. That man would come out of no where to make sure she put it right back on. She did some shopping because the prices were low. She really couldn't breathe so she went to the car to recharge her oxygen machine. I volunteered to go ahead and finish for her. The same man came to the cashier position. He never greeted me, or anything just rang stuff up, bagged it and put it back on the counter. I ran the card to pay, he gave me my receipt. There was no thank you or nothing. Couldn't take the cart out so I was forced to carry everything in one trip.He was very rude and we might have came back, but he is lucky I didn't let him ring it all up. Then I wanted to tell him if he wanted to see rude I could teach him something.

This store has gone downhill. It used to be clean and friendly but lately it's been cluttered with boxes and things that need to go on a shelf. The floor could use a good moping, it's dull and grimy making the shopping experience grimy and ghetto. Let's pull it together family dollar or hire someone that can. I want to be proud of my community

Saturday June 8th around 11:30am. I went into this Walsenburg, co. Family Dollar Store to purchase some dog food and various other items, as I was in line to check out, I noticed the lighters on the wall. As I went to grab them the clerk started flipping out and yelling at me saying to stay out of there. I grabbed the lighter and got back in line with my basket FULL of items. Another customer behind me asked what happened. What did I do? As I was telling him ,the CLERK working there started FLIPPING OUT again and telling me that I could just leave if I was going to have that attitude. SO I LEFT.Speaking about ATTITUDE, this woman should not have spoken to me THE CUSTOMER with her attitude!!! All in my face and in front of many customers. I personally have nothing against the store, but this Clerk has NO BUSINESS working with the public PERIOD!

A good place to get robbed do not leave valuables unattended in parking lot. Walsenburg has a lot of lowlifes.
