This store is always a mess appears to never have enough help had to wait too long in line. stuff sitting all over the aisles and in the back not being stocked. the help starts out being happy and within a week or two they are not friendly or happy. because evidently they're overworked. I never saw a store go through so much help. I don't know how a store could stay in business operating like that.

Being one of the only places in Walsenburg where you can purchase cell phones, add money to an online bank such as Chime and Cash App, and purchase everyday essentials such as laundry soap and hygiene (i.e shampoo, body wash, toothpaste) the store is a critical staple for the community of Walsenburg. Located conveniently off of Main St and 8th St, the Dollar General is accessible, affordable and managed by friendly and easy going employees. I shop here constantly and always have a great experience. 5/5. Great job guys. Keep up the good work. 👍

Love my local DG, everyone is so nice! The Store is clean and tidy, and if you cant find something, they actually help you to find it, and if they dont have what your looking for because its out of stock, they'll find out when the next truck is coming in and let you know. I love the Local DG!

This place is sensory overload for me. I think it's because it is very disorganized and everything feels jumbled together. I liked when they had a more open design rather than the ceiling to floor shelves they do now.

This store has everything you need, and them some! But I think they need a bigger building! Aisles are a bit disorganized and merchandise is on the floor. Otherwise, it's a great cheap spot to stop and fill up the ice chest and get an outfit.

Not much in this town but 1 of the 6 stores is a Dollar General thank you lord. When you Need something and realise Wal-Mart is 50 miles away in either way. Or maybe you got cabin fervor and want to pretend to go shopping.

Got into it with the nanager over penny items. He would not let ne continue getting them. He humiliated me infront of customers. He threatened to through me out of the store. He told other people in line that I didn't care about his child with a rare blood disease that all I cared about was getting the stuff in my basket for a penny. He then told them what I was doing was going to cost him his job.

These guys were curtious quick witted and hard working...thanks for the destruction of evidence...hopefully the cashier that checked me out sees this....sounds worse than it is I swear. Thank you for being open and having the things we needed and stuff we wanted too.

The Crue that works st night are very rude snotty,not helpful thinks everyone steels had my purse looked through they get ma's if they have to put things back when your at cash register and make a point of saying it to out loud. They have beens that's suppose to be on clearance and they charge full price all other dollar stores have good clearance items. This one in walsenburg to be honest sucks and I live right behind it and I go to t g e family Dollar way better in all catalogues treat you like there your friend helps you has good clearance items . So there going to loose my business and I have a shop down town also won't go in there.

Acussed me of stealing. I've never stolen in my life. Said I took make up which I was not in the make up section and I would never wear over the counter make up. Told us we had to wait for the cops. So went outside to wait. Waited over 30 mins. I was on my way to Oklahoma. Told them I had to get on the road an if they thought I really stole from them here is my 0hone number an have them come after me. No one ever did

have some pretty badass workers, but apparently was standing before anyone else even got in line was at the wronf register with 1 item deodorant was never told oh this register she let a line form got everyone before me and still never told me anything left the cash for the deodorant on the counter

Bigger selection as well as cheeper than the Family Dollar (not on absolutely EVERYTHING )! But so many items than the other variety stores.... That is most helpful for our rural community.,..

Store manager Mike refused service to me in the most rude way . Customers service was downright awful . This coming from someone who has 7 yrs of customer service retail experience and I'll have to say dollar general manager Mike needs help with his customer service .

I would rate them much higher, but in this period of Covid-19 all employee's should be wearing masks. I know... nobody has died (yet) in Walsenburg, but if Corporate provides the masks...why not?My shopping habits are such that I will spend my money where I feel comfortable. Walsenburg businesses, and the city/County are always talking "shop local.".DO YOUR PART!

The store is always crowded with product that needs to be put away. It's a safety hazard. Isles are pretty much always blocked with stuff.
