So someone gave a one star review to this grocery store, and proceeded to ramble on about Lake John and fishing, a review that has absolutely nothing to do with this grocery store, so I figured I'd leave a five star review to counteract it a bit. This is a nice store, its a bit pricey, and the fresh food isn't always too notch, but they are clean and do their best. They are in the middle of nowhere, and Walden wouldn't be able to manage without them. We are grateful they are here. Good job Supers, and thank you!

Surprisingly nice store. I'd seen it mentioned online as a full grocery in Walden, so planned to pick up last minute groceries there for a camping trip. Pulled up outside, and it really didn't look promising at all, but went in, and found a delightful grocery with a surprising selection of other stuff - a hallway off to the side offered clothing, fishing supplies, auto and hardware, camping, and more, in separate alcoves. And while it's not a huge grocery, the selection was pretty good, and I asked about a hardware item I really didn't expect to find, and the gentleman at the register walked me to the far end of the store, and there was exactly what I wanted. I'll definitely stop back in next time I'm in Walden.

Lemme tell ya about this place... good spot for groceries. A lil pricey but if you look on the coupon board you will definitely find some great deals. Also don't forget to join the raffle you might just win a 100 dollar Cabelas gift card! 🤞Meat selection was great and veggies were awesome. Have a question just ask the staff is super awesome. Definitely a return visit in my future!

Would like to share a review but, the honest reviews DO NOT SHOW UP ON LINE, TRASHED. Fact is that Lake John has been for my 35 years, one of the greatest places to fish. Now the people that own the land next to Lake John thinks they own it. Could buy it with their highPrices. Charged $35.00 for water Bill gave out free. $5.00 for WiFi when it's free at 99.9% of the places, and you don't have to buy coffee. The people of COLORADO own that Lake so how can he makes use a profit from that? I think someone should looking that deeply! No surprise this won't be posted either. We caught fish, a 24" trout, weighted 9 pounds, but that's had nothing to do with them. I paid the motor home gas. Not many people up on the holiday liker I've been used to seeing, but maybe IRS will come fishing. LOL

The produce and meat is top quality and fresh. Selection is a little limited, but still quite adequate. Employees are the friendliest our of any grocery store I have been to. Check out the little consignment shops they have in the same building, definitely worth a look.

Personally, I wouldn't even shop here. The prices alone are not worth the $10 in fuel to drive the extra hour away to shop... however... being a local grocer is probably pretty difficult in Walden, CO. I do frequent this establishment rather often for random supplies on short notice. I have noticed that usually the staff is pretty "friendly" with MOST of the customers, and eachother. Today, on the other hand, made me want to report the whole store to State Mandate for Health violations AND have one employee fired for her attitude.I arrived at the store at 11:55 am. I was greeted by a very nasty look from someone who is supposed to be a Manager, which I believe was due to me politely returning a junk cell phone that she gave my son the day previous, as she had the same attitude towards me then.. She then proceeded to harshly address the other employee that she was working with as she walked into the door ahead of me to count his drawer. She then stomped back out the door with a coffee cup and poured the Coffee in front of my Car rather than the other direction where there were no vehicles parked. She then proceeded to continue to berate the other employee. Personally, I feel that a Manager should have better poise in the workplace and and be held to that standard of professionalism, but it seems No one is held to that standard. There was only one employee in the whole store wearing a mask and the Mandates for 6ft. Social distancing are not being adhered to. Many customers have complained about this and are met with attitude and disrespect. Is there no Class in Walden, CO? Do we bot have good business practices here? No care for the lives of our older population? And when has inconcideration and rudeness become a new norm to be forced on those who have personal rights to their own personal safety?

I was pleasantly surprised, this is a well stocked grocery store with produce, meat, frozen, and dry goods, in addition to clothing, and outdoor supplies. I've driven past the building multiple times on camping trips and had no idea all they had to offer. I will definitely be back.

Everything you need, and then some. It has a few little extra shops beyond the fresh vegetables. Mostly hunting apparel, a very small Dollar Store, a few gifts. The vegetable and fruits are very limited. No bakery, that I noticed. But prices are good.

It's great that a small town like Walden has a grocery store. Not cheap. You've also got to watch the expiration dates on things; the store is notorious for selling yucky, expired yogurt for example -or- milk. Gross. The employees are very friendly; making your grocery shopping easier in the store. They even carry your groceries out and load them up in your vehicle. Good job ladies/gentlemen!

It's nice that such a small town has a grocery store. The fruit and veggies were beautiful. The mall was fun. There were not very many options for vegan and gluten free and the bathroom was dirty.

Great store, has everything you're looking for! Fresh, cheap groceries, a dollar store, and their mini-mall has all kinds of sporting goods and clothing if you're looking for some fishing gear. Absolutely stop by and get everything you need.

Great selection, especially in the "Food desert" that it is located in. They even had the hard to find Red grape juice that is so difficult to get anymore.

This is your average small town grocery store! It has a very limited selection and is overpriced. However, the employees were very nice! I will do small shopping here but, go into a bigger town for the major shopping.

Great small town grocery store. Good selection, and good options. Alittle expensive but that's what you expect at a small store. Produce is hit or miss though. Store could use some renovations. Clerks are all helpful and kind!

Small town grocery store, limited selection, no competition, steep prices on lots of things, still cheaper than buying everything @ gas station. Very nice people working there though.

Its a nice grocery store. They have a lot of stuff in it. It looked like there's three stores into one. I got a corndog for 89 cents and my husband got a steak and cheese chimichanga for a dollar and something.

I guess this place is better than nothing for groceries in Walden. Only saw one person working in the entire store. No one around if you need help. Pretty sad this place has gone downhill so badly.
