We stayed in a double room with bathroom and kitchen. It was super comfy and since I was traveling with a male friend the separate rooms were an awesome surprise. It was super clean and I loved the vintage feel.Nearby activities: We saw 2 moose just outside of town, a first for me, at 63.

Randomly found this place while traveling and decided to stop for the night. One of the best places we stayed on our two week trip. Front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was way better than we expected. Very clean! Great layout. Bed was really comfy. Probably one of the softest beds I've ever slept in. Any future travels near there I will go out of my way to stay there. Can not recommend this place highly enough. Wish I could leave a 10 star review.

The hotel owners worked with me to ensure that my mobility impaired mother and I could comfortably stay for an entire week! I appreciate the staff and the level of cleanliness at the North Park Inn & Suites. The rooms are quite and the beds are comfortable. The owners are clearly working to improve the property even further, particularly around accessibility. My mom and I look forward to visiting more often!

I thought that the rooms were pretty good. The first room that I can remember that all of the outlets worked! The room was easy to get to! There was a message on the check-in desk said be back in 30 minutes but don't know if they were gone for 2 minutes or 28 minutes. Made a suggestion when the clerk came back in about 4 minutes. She did not answer the phone that was on the message! I guess the only other issue was that the coffee maker needed to be cleaned out with a brush. I thought that it was a bit expensive, since it is a motorcycle ride destination! Otherwise, I thought that it was a great place to stay! I would stay there again if I go back up there in the future!

The North Park Inn & Suites was a great experience. The room was very clean and quite. The bed was very comfortable. The best part is that it is walking distance to restaurants and bars on Main Street. It is a perfect place to stay while visiting Walden and exploring the area. The customer service was top notch. Thank you for a great stay.

Great Place to stay! Have stayed there several times. They are very helpful and the rooms are very nice. Like that there is parking for trailers. I wish they would keep the cars out of the spaces that trailers can park in with a sign or something that says trailers and tow vehicles only. I should say boat trailers or other kind’s of recreation trailers.Rooms: Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. The place is quiet.Nearby activities: Lots of outdoor things to do. Fishing and exploring the area.Safety: Small town. Stayed there many times. Have never had an issue with theft and always felt safe.

Room was very clean. Owners very friendly and accommodating! I needed a pet friendly room and only had cash. They took a cash deposit and I had no issues getting it back in the morning. I thought it was a little on the pricey side, until I got into the room. Then, I feel as if I didn't pay enough for such an amazing space. Full kitchen, modern and clean bathroom, adorable decor gave it a very log cabin feel. Thanks for a great stay!

Took forever to ck. In, nor sure why. Then 1st morning, no Do not disturb sign to put out, so when they stopped by, they said they would come back to take care of trash, linens, give more coffee for next day, didn't happen. Did give a plastic sign, to stick in door till she could get one that would slide on handle.2nd morning we stayed in till noon, then left came back that evening, still no trash emptied, more towels, or coffee. Very disappointed. Called front desk, asked for credit on charge, said she would see. To ck. In am when leaving. At 8:20 am next morning, sign said someone would be there at 8am, conveniently no one there, door locked.Very unhappyVery expensive for what you get.Walkability: Close to eating places

Really glad we stayed at this hotel. My wife and I were heading to the area for some weekend hiking away from the summer heat of Denver. We were pretty much greeted as we pulled into the parking lot by one of the owners, Micah (very nice gentleman). He told us a bit about the area and how he got to owning this hotel. I'm sure if you ask nicely he would be willing to share some of the amazing pictures he has taken up there. The hotel is very clean and I would have no issues staying here again next time we are in the area. Location is close to a couple lakes and lots of hiking trails (as well as a state park) all pretty much within a 30-minute drive. We booked our reservations online which was fast and easy. We look forward to seeing you again next time we are in the area!!

There was a small sign that was on the desk that said that the clerk would be back in 30 minutes. I did make a suggestion that since no one nows if that was 28 minutes or 2 minutes ago that they shoud also then have something to say either when they left or when they would be back. I am not sure if I got overcharged, but that is not a complaint the room was clean and all of the outlets worked! I guess my only thing is that the coffee maker was not totally clean.Food & drinks: We ate at the BBQ place in town. The food wasn't bad at all.

I was desperate for a quiet restful escape over the July 4th weekend and got it in Walden, CO at the North Park Inn. I chose a room on the second floor of the hotel bc it had microwave and fridge. A huge plus was an east facing window I could open. The room was pleasant and hotel and town were also quiet. Photography was my main activity and visits to Walden Reservoir and Arapahoe Wildlife Refuge kept me occupied.

We got stuck in Walden as we passed through town in a snowstorm on our way to Rt 80, roads shut behind and ahead of us. Truck is capable of anything but the trooper/sheriff we chatted with at the gas station told stories of many vehicles off the road and stuck in drifts and not worth heading north. This was the only hotel in town with vacancy so we gave it a shot.(we didn't check the Antlers above the bar down the street) Room was surprisingly nice, including a kitchen and nice layout. Ground floor room on the single story long room block, front and back door, and comfortable beds. Parking for trucks with sled trailers and passenger cars alike. We had our Labs and luckily enough they had a dog friendly room. Price was very high for the accommodations, but that's the premium you pay in a storm, and better than sleeping in the vehicle. Friendly enough behind the desk, and the town was excellent, great people in the gas stations, supermarket and bar. We'd stay again.

I don't really have a review to leave but I think calling customers out on things and calling them liars is a bit much for a response. Should just ne left at we will do better. A company shouldn't make. It a point of telling people their experience is a wrong on their part or they misunderstood or "can't you read" type of thing.Really doesn't make you look that great.

Under new ownership, as of March 2022, and they are VERY NICE and ACCOMMODATING!My wife and I were traveling through and in dire need of lodging, and were looking around Walden for lodging so we stopped by the North Park Inn & Suites. It’s located right off the main strip and was extremely easy to locate.We were greeted with a big smile and welcomed by Micah and his daughter. They were able to quickly check us in, provide us access to our WONDERFUL room, and provide us information about the area (we had never been to Walden), local wildlife, and dining establishments in town. It felt as though I was being welcomed by family - much nicer than your usual hotel/motel.We found a parking spot directly in front of our room (BONUS: it has limited dog friendly rooms, which we needed) and settled in. The room was meticulously cleaned, and much larger than we expected with a full kitchenette and dining area! It was a little chilly when we stepped in, but once we turned the heater on it worked flawlessly to quickly heat the room to a comfy temperature.The bathroom was also very clean and cozy, and had a heater function in the vent so I wasn’t cold stepping out of the shower (I need one at home)! They provided everything you need except your toothbrush and toothpaste, which, if you forgot, you can quickly grab at the mart next door.The furniture is handmade out of logs, giving the room very comfortable, lodge-like feel. The mattresses were plush (I’d say about medium firmness), and provided some very relaxing and refreshing sleep.The next day we explored Walden and went looking for wildlife, specifically the Greater-sage Grouse. There were a TON of elk, deer, and antelope - I had never seen so much wild wife in one area.Upon checkout, we were once again greeted (and sent off) with a warm, friendly smile by Micah.Overall, the North Park Inn & Suites was an absolute gem, and I’d totally come back. The previous (poor) reviews seem to be about the previous owner, but the new owners are very customer-service based and friendly! Additionally, there is ample parking throughout the property, outlets to plug in my engine block, and the rooms are large and COMFORTABLE, which led to me giving this place 5/5 stars. If your coming through or visiting Walden, I’d strongly suggest to check the North Park Inn & Suites out! Happy and safe travels!

The rooms have adequate space, and are comfortable. The sheets are of decent quality, and I’m rather partial to the pillows. Having apartment sized appliances with a full oven/stove is such a nice thing to have. Plenty of hot water, comfortable bathrooms and kitchens. Having soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower is such a nice touch. Maybe I have not been able to find it, but I do not believe there is a toaster in the rooms. Not a huge deal though.Downsides: when working nights, these rooms leave much to be desired. The curtains do not block nearly enough light to accommodate sleeping during the daytime. The towels, while of good quantity and clean, are of poor quality and rather scratchy. Think scotchbrite pad.I would stay here again, no doubt about it. Hopefully next time I won’t be on nights though!
