We Absolutely love staying here. The staff was so awesome even tho we had to switch our dates they made it happen with our family of 7. My wife and I love the history of victor and have been going up there for years. Thank you again for helping us reschedule our rooms. Highly recommend place and we will be staying again in the near future.

Our room was perfect with its Queen bed., made up beautifully and very comfortable. Very clean. 1st impression ~ 5 star!!I would have given the score a 5, if the coffee would have been drinkable. If you enjoy your cup first thing, and going to provide it to your paying guest ~~ would you not want it to be drinkable ** especially enjoyable.Rooms: Very nice and period perfect.Walkability: Many choices. Or just a nice stroll up and down Victor's hillier streets and if you catch it right, you may find their lovely deer walking in town with you.

Our room was very nicely appointed. It was updated with some nice features like a mirror with LED lighting and antifog features, a nice large screen TV, and door locks that used PIN numbers instead of key cards. That said, the walls are so thin we could clearly hear every conversation in the room next us. We could even hear when their phones were vibrating. We also heard the multiple verbal bar fights outside our window. And I am fairly certain our bed was a double, not a queen size. The elevator was out of order and appeared to not have been in order for a very long time. Nor does it look like it will be in order in the near future. Thus, you have to use the stairs. Thank goodness we were only on the second floor. There were two flights of steep stairs to the second floor. If stairs are an issue for you, check to see if the elevator is working before you book. This is basically a building of AirBnB or VRBO rooms. Everything is done via text, from checking in to requesting toilet paper. There is no front desk. It took 12 hours and two requests to get toilet paper. The lovely pictures on the website are very well staged. The lobby furniture is worn and fraying. The nice accoutrements don’t exist.

It is such a beautiful place with beautiful staff. Violet is a phenomenal person, so sweet and resourceful. The hotel is a unique and elegant experience. They always have fun decorations for each holiday that are better than any other hotel I've been to. The elevator definitely has a heavy presence, which is fun if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, insanely beautiful and welp kept place to stay!

The walls are paper thin. The man in the room next to ours could be heard so clearly it felt like we were sharing a room. The hotel was dirty and not well maintained. Our TV wasn’t working and the staff couldn’t be bothered to help. The manager was complaining about not being tipped and how cheap customers are compared to what she would tip. She also walked around barefoot. The self check-in was nice. Stay in Cripple Creek.

Loved this legendary piece of wild west living history! Most everything here is authentic from 1893, including the amazing elevator. It was warm and comfortable and has a nice bar and restaurant (which we didn't have enough time to get to, unfortunately). The location is central to walking the entire town, with just a short drive to Cripple Creek. Buy a few of the local books and soak in the info from the landmarks there, and you'll likely get far more appreciation of these towns that time forgot.

We had an enjoyable time. I did like the virtual check in. It was weird not actually checking in with someone in person, but is was very simple process. The rooms were nice for being over a hundred years old. Mattress and sheets were great. The radiator in the room made random noises during the night, therefore being the spookiest thing there for me.(that being said the room was warm while it was well below freezing outside) I'm more of a skeptic when it comes to the haunted stuff. I didn't have anything crazy happen. The only thing that bugged me was that the restaurant in the lobby was closed by 8 on a Saturday. In their defense there was a winter storm starting to roll in, and visibility was very limited. So, if you do anticipate staying up there while there's a winter storm rolling in, bring food back to the hotel with you, lol. Overall a pleasant stay I would stay there again if I was in the area. The Elevator was cool too.

The hotel is ok. Our room had the blinds hanging down out of window, carpet looked like it needed a vacuum but really needed replaced. The restaurant in hotel was closed do to private event. Would have been nice to now that before arriving since there is only one other place to eat in that town. The elevator was cool but that was about it.

Really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were cozy and the bar staff was great. We stayed here after visiting the Ice Castle and we're glad we did.Nearby activities: Ice Castle and casinos are 10 minutes away.

Victor is our favorite little town out in the middle of nowhere. We love to go stay there and hang with the locals at the bar right next to the hotel. Everyone is so friendly there. It's just peaceful and quiet, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. And they have a lot of cool events there to check out as well.Walkability: Victor is a tiny town where you can park there and walk around and explore the museum and shop for antiques. There are old abandoned mines and also a huge troll. Rita the rock planter. You will need to drive to see Rita but not far at allFood & drinks: There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel and a bar next door. Also, a coffee shop is just down the block.

I'd give 100 stars if I could.Rooms are amazing. Staff is so friendly. The manager is the best. If you need anything, she is right there. Mrs Cindy makes the very best pastrami ruben. The town folk are some of the nicest people I've met around the country. This place is a 100% go to. I'd pass up staying in cripple creek for Victor any day. It's only a 4 mile drive to cripple creek. Trust me. Stay here. It's the best.

Lovely old hotel with direct TV, great wifi, and electronic door locks. The elevator may or may not be haunted, but it will probably zap your finger with the 4th floor "down" button. Easy self check in. Great bar/restaurant in the lobby. Brandy ("like the drink or the song") was great and had lots of fun stories for the bar patrons. Worth a stay. Victor is a cool little town. Say hi to Rita while you're there.

We loved the Victor Hotel. Violet, the manager, was super helpful when we needed to alter our stay date at the last minute. Our king corner room had a great view of the town, which is a historic treat in itself. The old elevator is efficient, ornate and worth a photo itself. We wish the hotel restaurant had more reliable hours since we had to walk to the bar next door the get a bite to eat. If near Victor, CO again, we will definitely make it a point to stay at the Victor Hotel.

Do not waste your money! Upon arrival the outside instantly made it feel as the place was going to be dirty and boy was it!! there was no one to greet you, looked and felt like an empty hotel.Lobby was extremely filthy. Trash sat in front of the doors the whole time along with several empty boxes. The "coffee station" in all honesty, pathetic. No cups, kerig machine with no kcups. Stained runner with some sort of sticky substance on the table.I wish I would have taken pictures! Room was just as bad. Stains on pillow cases and sheets. Hair in tub and all over bathroom floor.

The only thing this place has going for it, is it's history and it's elevator.Check in and check out are an introverts dream because you don't have to interact with anyone. So, nothing negative to say about the proprietors. The lobby and the bar are dingy, and unkempt.Upon arrival to the room, old dirty unvacuumed carpet. Hair and used soap pieces left in the sink. White residue all over the sink. Blinds falling down out of the accent windows. They request you tip your housekeeper.Strange unaccompanied children running around wild, and abusing the elevator, on all floors, at 10:30 at night.Loud/intoxicated people on the street below until about 11:00 at night.Strong marijuana odor throughout the entire 4th floor for most of the night. This place really needs some TLC, and someone who wants to put some real effort into it.

An amazing experience inside this beautiful and historic hotel! The staff was always helpful, friendly, and always a text away if you ever needed them. They also have great stories to tell! The rooms are magical looking and cozy and you feel at home right away! Absolutely loved this place! The town is so quiet at night so you sleep soundly amidst this beautiful countryside town.

Self check in was simple and easy. The lady in restaurant was kinda rude when we asked if they were still serving dinner. Not sure restaurant was affiliated with hotel but both in same building. The room was really cute and nicely decorated. I will stay there again but find a different restaurant.Well I hate to have to change my review but after last night.First off the Victor Hotel failed to tell me they had rented the lobby and restaurant on Saturday. The lobby and restaurant was closed to public. It would have been nice if they would have told me that we would have to enter the hotel through the side door and not have access to the restaurant when I booked.Secondly the group that had rented was loud and smoked Marijuana until after 3am.Being a quaint hotel there was no AC (totally understandable) and opened windows are the only cooling. With the obnoxiously loud noise and clouds of pot smoke filling our room we were forced to close the windows, this made the room unbearably hot and miserable.I really wanted to love this hotel but if they are going to allow this type of behavior I won't be staying there again.I sent a text message to the the Victor Hotel Management and explained the situation with no response.Noteworthy details: See review

A gorgeous historic hotel right in the middle of historic Victor. The room was big and very comfortable, with lovely features but all modern amenities. The check in/check out process was easy, with information sent leading up to our stay. The restaurant was closed the night we were there but we really enjoyed our meal next door at the saloon!Victor and this hotel were a real highlight of our trip around Colorado.

My wife and I stayed here in June of 2023. The checkin process was very smooth and I received several texts leading up to our stay with detailed instructions to access our room. The hotel itself is charming and has a neat cage elevator. The room was super clean and had nice amenities. While Victor is a sleepy little town, it made for a good quiet nights sleep.
