Wow. We observed NO negativity and thoroughly loved our visit today! Great selection of treats, toys and supplies. My dog recently passed away at 17 so I was visiting with, and made a small purchase for a friend - and the owner was so up-lifting. We live in Castle Rock and will certainly visit again when in Vail! One gets what one presents, and respect gets respect in return! I image being independent retailer today is not easy!

Both me and my pup are obsessed! The owner is very kind and knowledgeable about many different breeds and has shared that knowledge with me! I can tell she truly cares about her business and customers. If you want your pet looking and feeling right this is definitely the place to go!

Love this cute little store in Vail Village! The owner, Deena, is so knowledgeable and passionate about our 4 legged friends and what they need. Definitely pay a visit to this boutique when you are in town and pick up a treat for your fur baby!

As the other reviews said, business owner is super rude for absolutely no reason. I came here on 3-4 separate occasions to purchase some necessities for my dog, since this is the only place in town. On all those occasions, not only did the owner make snarky comments but also actively talked poorly about my family who was outside the store in the car to other customers in the store not knowing I’m standing right there. When I spoke up and said that is actually my car, she quickly got quiet. I’m pretty sure the only reason this place is still in business is because it is the only option. I don’t know if this is not common knowledge, but talking poorly about other people is probably not the best look/business practice.

My daughter and her friend were in this store today. The owner or store employee was incredibly rude and acted very odd. Don’t bother with this store. The lady running the shop needs to go into another line of work. Responding to the owner: I wish you the best of luck. I'm a small business owner myself. These are good kids and they were going to buy the toy you mentioned. However, you snapped at them and they decided to leave. Reading other reviews about you, I think it is clear this is an ongoing issue between you and your customers. Just be kind.

The Pet Boutique is a true treasure! It has the best treats, toys, and more! It is a must stop if you are in Vail Village and have a pup!

Great experience— owner was very friendly and helped me pick out a great harness and leash from a local company. Great selection of products and supplies. Such a great experience, I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone needing dog supplies.

Very strange employee or owner. Was reading the back of a pack of dog treats, and went on Google to read reviews of the product to see if it was worth buying for my dog. The woman working the shop approaches me and asks what I'm doing on my phone and is offended that I would look up the product, thinking I'm comparing prices. (Even if I was, who cares). She proceeded to let me know they are a small business in Vail and "things are more expensive here" while making me feel uncomfortable.I checked price after I left just to see and funnily enough, the price at the store was the same as online. I would have bought the treats as they had great reviews. So you get a one star review for being wrong and rude!

We love the Pet Boutique! Visiting this store is one of our dog Marina’s favorites things to do in Vail. The selection of dog and cat toys is terrific. Marina really loves knitted dog toys. Be sure to check those out—especially if you have a small or medium sized dog. Our favorite part, though, is visiting with Deena, the shop owner. She is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this store!

HORRIBLE experience. The owner or associate working was EXTREMELY rude. Myself and son were looking for clothes for our pet and the ones in the store were really cute. However, the owner walked up behind us while we were looking and very loudly and rudely asked if we needed help, obviously wanting us to say no and leave. Then I started to ask if she had another size in a dog dress and before I could even finish my sentence, she cut me off and rudely said "Everything is already OUT." Then she turned around and ignored us. Her body language and face said it all. Like we were something stuck to the bottom of her shoe.If you were the owner, why are you running a customer service business? Multiple reviews are comments on how rude you are. I did not spend money at the store because of this. And please, do not reply back and say we were doing something like messing up the clothes. They were already in disarray and we were only looking for a different size. That behavior was completely uncalled for.

The owner was very kind to me and my sisters. It is clear she is passionate about dogs and providing essential information to pet owners. She was very lovely to talk to about my Doberman and potential business endeavors one day. We went yesterday and are very excited to go back today!

On Wednesday Dec 21, 2022, My wife and daughters enter this store to buy an item for the family pet. After purchasing the item, I am appalled to hear what my wife and daughters shared with me on their experience in the shop. My wife and daughters are black americans. My youngest wears long braids. The lady working in the shop proceeded to ask a number questions regarding my daughter's braids. "Do you take the braids out at night?...Do you wash the braids?" Do you wash your braids?!!!!! What kind of questioning is this for customers who are patronizing your shop? My family was visibly upset with their experience and no other customers received the same degrading questioning. As adults, my wife and I are use to this type of treatment. We have a lifetime of experience. But it's disgusting an adult would humiliate an adolescent with zero empathy. Never again for this family.

My husband bought a fancy collar while vacationing here that was too large for our dog. We contacted the shop and they said to mail it back and they’d exchange for us. 2 months after confirmed receipt of the collar, the shop has not sent a new one nor answered any of our phone calls or emails. Sadly we paid cash so unless someone does the right thing here we are SOL for both the cost of the collar AND shipping it back to them! Very shady.

Terribly rude owner. Seems like a business owner would be smart enough to not be an A hole to her customers. Clearly by reading the reviews, many other people have experienced this too. Not sure what’s wrong with this woman or what made her so sour, but either way, don’t waste your time here.

Very rude owner. We were trying to pick out a toy ( over priced) for our puppy, with our puppy. The owner told my daughter and I to stop getting the toys out of the baskets, that were sitting on the floor , to see if our dog wanted them. She said the floor was dirty . She also tried to give our dog a treat the second we walked in without asking. Our dog spit it out and she was obviously irritated. The store is really small. Set up in like a circle and at one point there were 9 customers and 2 dogs trying to navigate around each other. Items falling off racks on to the Floor. . Meanwhile the owner was scolding a customer for giving their dog some type of food she didn't approve of..a lecture, she just left.Not a fun experience 😕 never again.I'm sure she will snap back at my comment. The fact is, she is rude. We felt like we were intruding . Read other comments. We ended up in Edwards at another pet store. 180.00 we spent and enjoyed every second, so did our puppy and daughter!

We stumbled upon this cute pet shop while strolling through the village. The store is tiny, but we were able to shop with social distancing in place while another couple shopped for their dog. The owner is friendly and genuine. She helped us with the sizing as we weren’t sure what size we need for our pup. She showed interest in us and our dog, which you don’t usually expect in touristy places. Yes, the products are pricey, but that’s sort of what you expect in Vail Village — plus, you can tell she hand-selected what’s in her store. I’m surprised to see negative reviews about this shop and the sweet owner, as our experience was definitely a positive one.

We stopped in to browse with our pups today and were really disappointed with the behavior of the woman running the store. She immediately recognized our dogs' harnesses purchased at another store in Vail Village and started telling other customers incorrect negative information harnesses and that they were choking our dogs. I made a point to correct her and she was not happy. Unfortunate to see a small business bash another small business. Especially during these times. We spoil our pups and you would have made a good sale from us today had you not badmouthed another local business.

Loved my experience in the store! The sales person was extremely helpful. Amazingly, she offered to let me take home two different sized (very expensive!) collars to try on my fur baby. What service! I ended up with an awesome upscale collar plus a lot of unique and fun other accessories. She even helped me find a “bear bell” for when I take my dog on a hike! Seems like they have everything.

While the store is cute, the lady who works there (the owner?) is very bossy and makes it unpleasant to shop there. I have visited several times and had a similar experience each time. Most recently, she snapped at my daughter as my daughter tried to show me something in the store that she wanted to get and the lady was annoyed because she was trying to talk to me. I felt it was totally inappropriate and not her place to scold my young child for trying to talk to me. I have very well behaved children and my daughter left feeling upset. Sadly, it’s obvious this is a pattern from the many reviews with similar stories. I won’t visit again.

Looked cute and we really wanted to go in, but woman at the front was very rude. We walked in without masks, signs weren't immediately visible in the front. There are ways to be nice about asking us to wear masks, as we sometimes don't think to put them on, but the way she went about it was very wrong.Poor customer service. I suggest a change in tone of voice and a better choice of words.

Lady was very rude. I was browsing and my mask slipped below my nose a tad because it is large on my face. The owner sternly looked at me and told me “You aren’t wearing a mask so you must leave right now. You must leave.”, in an unnecessarily rude tone. A simple “Can you please pull your mask up?” would have been sufficient. She did not even tell me that I needed to pull my mask up if I wanted to stay in the store, she just told me to leave. Very unprofessional. This lost business for the store because after this my whole family decided to leave due to how rude the lady was.

Extremely rude owner, as you can tell from many of these reviews. You can tell she’s new to this business because she thinks the solution is to argue back with any customer who has an issue with her attitude. Terrible lady, cute store but won’t shop there because I do not want to support her.
