I cannot thank and recommend Eric Nava, owner of, “Oh My Dog!”, enough! My little pooch had long overgrown hair and he shaped him up and his little spirit began to shine again. My larger pooch had given birth and he helped her return to the shiny lovely being she is after all her body went through. Thank you Eric for helping them, being so gentle and careful with these two! Anyone who wants their dogs to be in a loving and engaged environment should book Eric. Also, he has taught me in a short amount of time more of their language and to be a better dog mom! Eric did a fantastic job with our Winnie! She's a great Pyrenees mix and was all knotted (and super shy!) but Eric was a pro and made her feel comfortable. She looks great and I can tell she feels so much lighter! Thanks Eric!

Eric made my dog instantly at ease while she had her toenails done. She actually smiled while he worked. We are new to the area and the last two times I have taken her (once in Walsenburg) she was terrified. She is confident with Eric and we will be back regularly. My dog had severe weight challenges when I adopted her. Although she is 26 pounds less now, Eric made a sound recommendation for her feeding schedule that I will start right away.

Just had my bernedoodle groomed by Eric. My dog is a very active puppy and can be precocious but he was putty in Eric’s presence and even seemed to really enjoy this experience!! He was also very curly with a thick coat that I think most groomers wouldn’t want to deal with. My puppy looked so beautifuI when I picked him up. I will not bring my dog to any other groomer after meeting Eric! He is truly gifted!

I found this gem of a person in Facebook! Oh my Dog=Oh my goodness I have 3 dogs just took them for a nail trim. I took them in 1 by 1, first was my Chihuahua, Faith who does not like anyone really, she did not panick feel uncomfortable or even try any kind of growl or warning to get away from her! #2 my boyfriends poodle Smokey he was completely chill with Eric too. Smokey has been to groomers before. #3 my Pitty Bitty never been to a groomer her first experience and I was a bit worried because she ripped a toenail off a few weeks ago. She let him do her nails and even touch the missing toe and told me it was healed. My babies were so at ease which calmed me even more. He has no cages to put any animals in. He is a true blessing to find. I have never had such a good experience with a groomer before I will continue to take my babies there from now on. Thank you so much for such a good encounter! We LOVE OH My Dog. F you're looking for a special place for your dog, look no further. Eric is so gentle with my pup, and you can tell he really cares. Usually, she does not want to go to the groomer but she runs up to Eric and runs straight inside. She always comes home looking cute as ever, too.

I had a great experience taking my dog to Eric. I have a big rescue dog that hates grooming, the is the biggest nightmare for any groomer. Eric took a great care of my dog and my pup looks great!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Eric & Oh My Dog Grooming. He treats your pup like family and treats you like family too! Eric does one client at a time - no cages, no tethers. And you can tell how much he loves what he does & how much he loves your dog. Just a beautiful experience all the way around. My Floyd has never looked better! And Eric takes amazing pet photos too!

All of these previous glowing reviews reflect our feelings about what a wonderful dog groomer and a remarkable human being Eric is. He kept my sister's two Westies together to do their grooming. Just moved here from San Antonio. Boy was I blessed to have called Eric first when it was time for grooming. I love that he only has 1 dog at a time, no cages, he has a genuine love for dogs and is an all around great guy! He also helps strays and the homeless with food and supplies. Eric is a dog zen master. My dog was terrified of having his nails clipped. Used to take him to the vet who is the husband of the breeder where I got my dog. My dog loves this vet but it took the vet & his assistant to clip his nails. Moved and had to find someone to clip his nails. Was told to see Eric. My dog stood still and let Eric clip without pulling his foot away or yelping. I was amazed.
