People are great but the prices at times are just medium high range but the products seem to be better qualities and counting the cars in the parking lot it appears to be cheaper then traveling far distance to get a lower grade product.

My go to place. Generally if I go somewhere else, I end up having to go to BLDRS anyways cause the other place didn't have it. People are very friendly there, I highly recommend you check it out.

The employees are very nice and they know what they are doing! It's refreshing to go into a store and not get ignored! Just moved to the area and have been here a few times and have always got help and advice. It's an A+ in my book!!!!

We really like the people and we buy a lot of stuff there. We also like the customer service. They've remodeled too so it's really nice.We don't like that they close at 2 on Saturday and they're not open on Sundays. It is springtime and people are working on their properties and we drive 30 miles one way. It seems that businesses in Trinidad want us to go to Pueblo or Walmart to buy our supplies.

We've been remodeling for a year and my contractor and I have spent thousands in here. I was walking around with another $50 of product and asked the lady for one of those paint stir sticks.. I got a lecture about how I wasn't buying paint, and I need to buy paint if I want a stir stick. This place is unbelievable.

Builders has really increased their selection and stock. The customer service is good, not great but it does keep improving. Pricing has gotten closer to the big stores and again even more importantly is stocking more items so you don't have to wait or go elsewhere.

Staff was very helpful and attentive also very friendly. Lots of items for various projects... Home improvement, DIY's, tools, pipes, toilet seats, different types of equipment from shovels to hammers to paint rollers, mouse traps, pest control items, for moles for instance, fly traps, camping supplies like small propane tanks, zip ties, different types and sizes of nails, spray paint, and much more! Love this place. One of my favorite stores to get anything diy related, home improvement related ect.

Part of my review here is because of their proximity to my house, but really everything is close in this town! Also, due to limited availability of stores and products in and around Trinidad, this place is good. It's a hardware store but with more. You can get lumber and PVC and other materials for all kinds of big jobs, or you can get small hardware and little parts for little jobs. Pricing is reasonable and people are nice.

The local building supply is a great place for all of your needs. They stock pretty much anything you can imagine. Staff is very knowledgeable about all products and always willing to help. They also have a small engine mechanic who services Stihl equipment which is a huge plus for anybody living in the Trinidad area. Plus I love to support local business over large corporate stores!!

Rarely have what im looking for most of the time I have to travel to Raton for example 2 inch gate valve or ball valve for to drain a water tank or a 1 1/2 inch valve very common plumbing parts especially since a lot of folks haul water. Well you dont carry it so again I have to travel to good ol Ace hardware. However, the staff is very friendly and very helpful they will look for your parts and politely apologize for not having it.

Friendly and fast service. Tons of items in stock. Purchased lumber and they had me loaded up in minutes. Open til 4 on Saturdays I think which are better weekend hours than they used to have.

They had most of what I needed be advised that when you bring your own key fob to get cut if they destroy the key and it doesn't work they don't give you a credit they don't replace it they don't do anything it's on you

Great customer service from the workers. Nice lumber yard that is well organized. I was in need of a common Tamko shingle that they sold but they did not have any in stock. I had to go else where to purchase.

Nice little store, they sell most of what you can get at Home depot.Dogs are allowed in the store, and they give a treat as ya's walk in.Prices are decent and selection is nice.

Most everything a homeowner or contractor needs, and then some. Every one of 6 or so people I came in contact with at BLDRS on my last visit were So considerate--without prompting--that their Service demands blue ribbons. In spite of being out of the exact material I came for, I left with a better product and what I needed in very short order. Kudos!

Great customer service, everyone was super friendly and helpful even with the loading of the chainlink fence. Better then driving to Pueblo to deal with rude customer service people. I'll be going back for all my "building" needs

I like to pick up the lumber I use for various projects here. Their selection of specialty fittings and odds and ends has not been the greatest. They have however been expanding and adding to their supplies so hopefully that improves as they expand.

As an artist, and Feng Shui decorator, I appreciate that they always have what I need in stock, E.G., Hemp and nylon ropes, Elmers glue, glitter paints...high-quality beverage containers, shovels, bathroom fixtures, lumber, safety glasses, wrenches, and so on and so forth. And, the staff is just great; friendly even when busy, knowledgable and helpful. They make shopping locally a pleasure.

I wasn't very impressed bc they didn't have ppl in every department. I went in for something specific and no one could answer my question in plmb. It's a hardware store ppl!! Why don't you have ppl working un departments where they actually KNOW the dept ??? 🤷‍♀️ But the hdwr part of the store was GREAT!!
