I called ahead and asked if they cut motorcycle keys and was helped by someone really nice on the phone saying yes. I went in and the guy who cut my keys was amazing! He went through the hassle of looking online for my key code, using a demo key to ensure the blank keys I brought in wouldn’t be ruined, and hand cut them for me to perfection. He made it a great experience and was an all around very awesome dude and put in the extra mile for me without hesitation. I’m only sad I didn’t get his name to shout him out but thank you for helping me out and making it such a good experience!

So called last night to verify that they can cut my car keys. Was told yes they can do it when I come in. So I drove 20 min out of my way to get there and was told that the key machine was broken. Ok. The recommended driving another 15 min out of my to go to the ace on 104 and federal and was told there not allowed to cut them due to contracting. Thanks!!

Called ahead to make sure they filled propane tanks. Went at 6:00 on a weekday after work. The gentleman behind the counter said he stopped doing tank refills for the day and didn’t offer an explanation. There were multiple employees around not tending to customers.

Purchase a new chainsaw and nobody in the store can help me with it not starting. They will not accept it under return. They won't even exchange it for one that does run. Store policy is for them to send it in & have their chainsaw technician, look at it another day. Keep in mind, I purchased the chainsaw took it home, filled it with fuel and oil and spent an hour trying to start it. I wouldn't suggest purchasing power tools from Ace Hardware. Even expensive ones because they don't do returns even if the product is faulty and doesn't work *brand new. I've had nothing but positive experiences with this place until this day and it's very disappointing.*Update: The store manager corrected the issue and made things right. It was frustrating and unnecessary but in the end everything worked out. Better communication and verifying the chainsaw works as advertised *before purchasing is the right way to go. I will continue to be customer going forward.

I always forget about this place even tho it's so close to home. Ace hardware has tons of items. Salesmen are usually very eager to help. you can usually find items big commercial places don't carry. prices are hit or miss.

Update: I was able to return the item. Associates were friendly and issue was resolved.Be careful what you purchase here due to their "return" policy. Was not allowed to return unopened wood stain straight off their shelf, with receipt from the day before, because they have "no way of knowing if it was used or not" Seems unfair to customers and is an individual policy of this location. I’ll drive farther to another hardware store unless I’m desperate from now on.

Give Ed a raise. I should have wrote this review months ago. I have got to the point of being on a first-name-basis with this man (even my 5 year old son!) and he has given me help with anything I have asked well beyond any other store of any kind in the past. Context: back in May I took on the task of growing a lawn from seed with what was previously a plot of dirt and weeds. I somewhat knew what I was doing going into it, but he provided insight every step of the way and I now have a full lawn that I get compliments from my neighbors on frequently. I have come to him with a list of questions every time I visit this store and not once have I left without every question answered thoroughly. The customer service I have received from him is unmatched. I'm not typically one to go out of my way to write reviews, but hopefully management will catch wind of this post and give him the credit he deserves.

I would get this place zero stars or at best a half a star. I bought an assortment of sockets in a box that was busted up.I asked Destiny is this returnable she said “ yes”, just keep the receipt.I buy them and head home, I got a phone call saying we don’t need them. I turn around I take it back., I’m gone 10 minutes, 10 minutes max And Mackinzie, the assistant manager says these are very used sir!I said they were used by somebody else before me because I didn’t even open the box. She calls Destiny back up to the counter and she says “ that’s the way the box was when he bought it Mackinzie says”I don’t even know if I should return it. I said well “when I bought them, I was told they were returnable “ well the best I can do is give you store creditNo wonder this store has such a poor rating, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here take the extra couple minutes and go to Home Depot or Lowe’s. I would never have the service of those stores.

This is the closest hardware store to my house and so I go there when I don't want to drive to the big stores. Prices are a bit higher than the other places. There is a decent number of people on staff and so finding someone isn't hard unlike the big stores. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This store has always fit my needs for all of my smaller home projects. Rich and his staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to help. Something you don’t get at a big box store. They give the feel of a neighborhood hardware store and are a great fit for our community.

Very, very unprofessional.....I went there for a Craftsman 3/8 Ratchet tool exchange. I spoke with retail staff, Mckenzie. We were at the aisle, and clearly, there were three 3/8 ratchet on the hanger. She went and talked to another female, who appears to be the manager/owner. She came back and said she wasn't able to make the exchange, handed me my old tool, and walked away. There was no reason behind why she wasn't able to make the exchange. Ironically, I bought a 230-piece Craftsman tools set from them the previous week. I am thinking about returning it.Very very unprofessiknal. I shop there often and will not support them again.

I generally like this hardware store but today I was pretty unimpressed. First of all, half of the items that I was looking at didn't have prices anywhere. Second, the girl at the front really didn't seem like she wanted to be there. .i asked for a price check and it sounded like she sighed. When I left, she forgot to ring something up and when I came back for it, she didn't apologize and kinda made me feel like it was my fault. (Attitude not anything she said) I guess it's only on weekends or when employees are plentiful that anyone asks if you need help because I wandered around for awhile looking for something and ended up having to fo look for someone to help me. I'll still go back in the future but this trip was not the best I've seen from this store.

This is a true, old school Ace Hardware. Knowledgeable staff, friendly atmosphere and a great option for the anti-big box customer. I have never gone in and not been able to find what I needed at a good price. I don't know how they do it with such a small store.

I never have to search or even ask for help because there’s always a staff member who checks with me first. Went in and was needing some assistance in finding a piece for under my sink when I asked a young man for help. He made me feel as if I was an inconvenience, or if I was distracting him from something else when he didn't seem to be busy when I asked him where to find it. We all have bad days but this was not a great experience in my opinion he may need an evaluation on customer care.

5 STARS for Brian!! I needed to pick up several pieces of stainless steel hardware, anchors, and screws. I'm a professional contractor with 20 years in the business and already had in my head how I was going to perform the task that I needed the hardware for. I have only been in that particular Ace Hardware one other time and I'm not familiar with the store's layout.Brian was able to direct me to the exact locations and bins for the stainless steel hardware, anchors, and concrete screws that I needed to complete my camera project. He worked with me on each piece and part for proper metric thread, length, and fitment until we had everything that I needed! I felt like I had a personal concierge at the hardware store!Brian should receive some type of recognition as he exemplified what I think any major corporation would want ALL team members to do! He was knowledgeable, listened, offered an alternative solution when it was necessary, and was kind!Thank you Ace Hardware for providing an atmosphere for team members to really interact and help the customer!ACE IS THE PLACE!!!!

Earlier today, I brought in some Ace furnace filters to exchange and unfortunately didn't have the receipt. The manager on duty refused to let me exchange them for another size so being a customer at this location for 18 years means nothing. There are other hardware stores that have a better selection,prices and better customer service but I've tried to support this local business as it is close to where I live. It was two, $4.99 filters that I was trying to exchange. I was willing to accept the lower price and pay the difference but your manager on duty wouldn't let me, I also had other items I was going to purchase at the time but left them on the counter when I was told that she wouldn't perform the exchange.
