This PetSmart has become a home for us. Weird, I know. Might be a TL; DR from here.We adopted a very shy dog from a SoulDog adoption event at this location in January. This pup was severely abused, no socialization with humans. Scared of everything.My partner and I gave her as much love and attention as we could, and realized that training was the best path forward and looked to our local PetSmart for help.We had to almost pick her up to come into the training center for the first time, and she hid behind a chair.…Meet Mike. The dog whisper. He is the most gentle man, he won’t learn your name but will remember your dogs name.Mike changed our life with our rescue dog, because he believed in her and gave us the skills to help her become the best dog ever. We are forever thankful for Mike.If you have the opportunity to take a class from Mike, consider yourself and your dog to be lucky.

We took our pup in for grooming. Our dog had Bailey (as her Groomer) and she did great! All the ladies were friendly to us and our dog. They even gave my toddler a matching banana for her stuffed animal! We’ll definitely be back!

Love this place, gotten 2 amazing kitties from here. Adoption fee is more expensive than shelters of course but... I can't complain about either of my kitties. Love them to pieces.

This Petsmart is horrible. The customer doesn't come first. The manager told us the store was closing in three minutes we said can you just grab us a fish I can't give you a fish we close in 3 minutes. How long exactly does is take to grab a tetra one tetra fish out of a tank we had quite a few of other products in our hands and I'm a weekly customer. All they care about is making sure they got out of the store on time. Terrible customer service very rude will never shop there again.

I should have listened to the other reviews on grooming. The people in grooming are nice but my poor dog is botched. They offered a discount with a different groomer for the next day but I’m too scared to go back. Please train groomers a little more on handling dogs who may not liked to be groomed, because I honestly don’t know a lot of dogs who actually like being groomed but that’s why they go through training and have equipment to help them do the job. I just want to cry 😢

The team at Banfield here is amazing! They take such good care of my cat, who does not like the vets office at all. We keep coming back because we know all of our pets will be in great hands.

Second time I've got fish from this store and the second time they have died before leaving the bag. The tanks are full of dead fish and they have the audacity to ask if your tank is large enough. When I mentioned this they even attempted to say the fish arrive that way. So they put dead fish in the tanks.....SMH. Don't support this store, their employees are the worst I've encountered!

Racism still exists. Especially with the older generation. The elder lady working the register was so kind and smiley to an older, white gentlemen. I smiled at how warm she was. It was my turn with my return. The change of tone in her voice was so upsetting. Each question I had about my return, she didn’t even look at me, shook her head in disapproval, and her tone was so rude. I’ve worked in customer service for 15 years so here’s some advice; respect ALL of your guests with respect and kindness. Every is human and all humans have emotions and are dealing with life. It’s people like her that I thank God my son looks more white than of the race I am.

This location has a small adoption center in it; mostly cats and kittens from what I could tell. They also have a grooming center and a pet clinic/hospital. My girlfriend and I went in over the weekend and adopted a really cute 11 week old kitten. They had another 11 week old kitten, a pair of bonded cats, and another cat with two 9 week old kittens so they had quite a few to look at and play with.We really appreciated Jade who works in and around the adoption area. You could tell she was the one who took care of and played with the cats as they all loved her. The way our kitten played and interacted with Jade is what truly sold us on the one we got and he has been an awesome kitten. PetSmart is lucky to have such a loving employee.

Actual experience was fine but I can’t give any stars to a place that so blatantly puts creatures in their care in such poor conditions.Bettas being kept in containers that small should be having daily water changes and the water in some of the cups obviously hadn’t been changed in several days, if not WEEKS with the amount of algae build up. I’ve also came in before and seen the fish showing other signs of stress or neglect. It’d be insanely hard to miss the condition of these fish, so this is definitely an intentional disregard for the well being of the animals :(. My girlfriend is very into proper betta care and has purchased fish from this location. They have a track record of dying way sooner than the other fish they have in their care.Unrelated to the fish, I have a friend who has purchased two bearded dragons from this location and one died way before it’s expected lifespan, the other has chronic health issues. This isn’t very shocking due to the fact PetSmart as a brand has been under fire before for mistreating reptiles (mainly neglect and housing territorial animals together past maturity) and sourcing them from VERY questionable places. The betta fish situation seems to just be employee fault, however.Wouldn’t recommend buying anything LIVING from this store—or PetSmart in general—but for material purchases, I haven’t had issues. I still wouldn’t recommend giving ANY money to a place with pet in the name that doesn’t seem to care about the very pets they have in their care.

Be sure to check expiration dates! I stopped in to purchase a 10lb bag of Purina DM for my diabetic cat. It's 10/26/2023 and the expiration date for the 2 bags in stock was 6/23! This is a prescription food that costs 72.99 for 10lbs. The Manager offered nothing as he dawdled to the back of the store piddling with a cart and other items along the way. Difficult to believe it was an oversight while stocking/checking shelves. Shouldn't a place dedicated to pets actually care about causing possible harm?

Had an aquarium need.the person working and aquatics was knowledgeable and very helpful about the problem I was having and what possible solutions to try. The staff in general, we're very kind and accommodating. Will shop up here again!

Today I went in a little earlier to discuss a partial refund for an overcharged service. After I told the manager, Mark what was going on he got confrontational and was speaking to me with a very condescending attitude. I was very surprised to be treated that way by management. He then told me it was HIS store and told me to get out. I go there all the time and spend good money on items and services. We even adopted a cat from there. I walked in with a good attitude and left feeling very disrespected. He treated me like I was trying to get one over on him. I plan on going back tomorrow and taking care of this. I certainly won't be dealing with Mark anymore. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Purchased fish here multiple times with all of them dying within a few weeks of purchase. I do water changes weekly and test the water. They aren't being overfed or underfed. Other fish from Petco are doing really well.Would not recommend buying live fish from here.Also, I now have a snail infestation from a tagalong ramshorn😡

Awesome selection of basically anything you could want for your pets. Prices are a little high, but a good selection of products cost money to maintain. They have a variety of live animals/critters to choose from and have all of the things you could need to build a viable home for them. All of the employees were nice, and so were all of the customers! I guess it's difficult to be in a bad mood with so many cute animals around 🙃

They're always out of stock with neutral large breed lamb and rice so I call the other store that's in a different city and the lady got rude with me and said she couldn't do a food check to make sure so I didn't have to drive all the way over there. And when I got to the store it was empty with nobody no customers nothing, now you tell me why you couldn't have just ran down the aisle to see if I had the right food so I didn't have to waste my trip driving to a different city

We adopted a kitty yesterday and everyone one of the staff members were very friendly and made the adoption process easy. I just wanted to give an extra THANK YOU to Jo who was our Cashier!! Jo was ringing us up and asked if we were adopting the kitten in our carrier as well as buying everything we needed, the answer was yes. She requested another associate to bring up a cat adoption coupon book that saved us money! We still have coupons to use for future visits. We live about 40 minutes away from your store but will continue to make the drive to get the excellent customer service that your employees offer!

Store itself was great, but the cashier spent a lot of time chatting with the customers after they had already checked out...leaving a line waiting to be next. I think it's great to chat with the customers while there checking out, but don't continue a lengthy conversation afterwards. :)
