My dog has anxiety issues, so I took him into this vet. She put him on Prozac, which helped to some degree. After being on the Prozac for about a year, I was told I needed to bring my dog in for a recheck. I couldn’t bring him in right away, but set the appointment for 2 weeks out. After discovering he would be running out of his meds about a week before the appointment, I called in for a partial refill, just to get him through his appointment day. The vet denied the partial refill, saying my dog absolutely had to be seen first. I, and everyone, know that neither pets nor humans can stop taking Prozac cold turkey. It requires a gradual withdrawal from it. The vet didn’t care in the least. She flat out refused to provide him a withdrawal dose or a continued dose for just the one week. Needless to say, this caused my dog and myself tremendous difficulty over this last week. This vet should not be practicing veterinary medicine. I at least found another vet to treat him, though it was after 3 days of suffering on the part of my dog, and me for the agony of not being able to provide what my dog needed on time.

Dr Kristen and her whole staff were so amazing when we had to make the hard decision to put our almost 16yr old pup to sleep.Everything went the best it could possibly go in a situation like that. They were all genuinely compassionate. Thank you to you all at Eastlake Vet. 💔❤

We have been bringing our dogs here for 6 years and we feel they have done a great job. More so with the new ownership/teams in place. We appreciate the positive attitude from the front desk staff all the way up. Not sure why, but our dog still gets excited to go after all of his surgeries. :) Keep up the great service.

Our Scottie groomer moved out of town this past year, so she had recommended to us Sarah who knows how to do a Scottie cut! Sarah worked well with our schedule and has done an excellent job with getting my dog the right Scottie look! The front desk is also very friendly and makes sure my schedule is up to date.

This veterinarian office is amazing! There is never a wait when you call in to ask for help, there is never a long wait to get on the schedule to see the vet and they also have a same day option and it's very affordable for situations that need addressing quicker than others they are quick to refill prescriptions or to have special food ordered for your pet they answer their phones every time I call and if you do happen to leave a voice message it is returned in a timely manner I've never had to been put on the back burner, they always adress and help all of my cats needs. I recommend veterinarian Dr Miller I love Dr Miller she is very attentive very caring she's very knowledgeable and she explains every single detail that you need to know before you go home with your pet she also follows up to see how my pet was doing and I never have a problem asking and receiving the refills my pet needs when he runs out.Eastlake veterinarian office is very affordable the customer service reps up at the front desk Lynn and Kelsey are amazing they are very knowledgeable they answer any questions you have and anything that they do not know they take notes they get it to the doctors and they return your phone call immediately with the answers you're searching for their technicians are great and Dr Miller's assistant Estelle she's a registered vet tech she is amazing she takes such good care of my cat and she makes me feel like a good cat mom I appreciate this office they are my forever home 🏡 ❤️ 🐱

I generally feel vets are extremely expensive and they are but animals are our babies. Eastlake understands that and does there best. They are pushy and say you should such and such, they give options, are honest about what each options means and helps when they can. I have had vets do stuff without even communicating to me until after the gave a shot, took blood, squeezed something, whatever and charged me out the wazoo!! Not Eastlake they tell you exactly how much they are taking out your wazoo first! If you can’t afford it, they don’t and they try to help with a cheaper alternative. I also feel like they take their time with animals and us so I don’t really mind if there is a wait.

Doctors and staff are kind, thorough and knowledgeable. My animals were treated with gentle hands and respect. Best of all they actually listened to me as a pet parent. I would definitely recommend this facility!

WARNING ⚠️! STAY AWAY! They misdiagnosed my dog, they claimed they took blood work but didn't and accused me for the mishap. They brought me my dog so I thought in the carrier I own, come to find out when I got in my car they was a faint meow. This place is terrifying. I should have clicked newest reviews instead of the "relevant" reviews

Everyone is so nice and thorough when working with you and your pets to ensure you understand what is happening, how much it will cost, and potential next steps. I brought in my old man Dawg for some digestive issues, and they immediately jumped on checking him out and were on top of staying proactive and trying to figure out what was going on. We ended up doing outpatient for the day, with Dawg staying there while they ran tests and monitored him. As we arrived at the end of the day to pick him up, the timing was perfect with him finishing up his last round of fluids, and everyone was so nice and helpful with explaining everything that had been done, why, and what we could do to at home to ensure his recovery as well as what to look for in the event he needed to come back. They were happy to answer all my questions, and insisted that I call back if anything else came up.My dog was super happy and well taken care of, and they loved him! He's doing much better now, thank you ladies!

These guys are fine for preventative care, although the prices are getting a little out of control, but if you have any kind of issue that can’t wait for a week or more be prepared to be sent to an emergency care vet at a huge mark up. I called today because my dog tweaked his back and is in some mild discomfort. Instead of even trying to schedule an appointment later in the week, or offering to at least get him medication for the pain as we did last time, they immediately told me to go somewhere else. I will be finding a new vet since I can’t seem to get an appointment here as they only deal with planned injuries and illnesses.

Please do NOT take your pet here! They’re exceedingly negligent. I will never bring any of my animals here ever again. They missed a diagnosis of degenerative myelopathy in my Golden Retriever because nobody ever did a thorough assessment. DM is incurable and needs to be caught early to help delay its progression. By the time it was diagnosed (by a different vet) it was too late. I also took this same dog there (prior to the DM dx) because I was worried about a lump, and the vet barely touched her, and pressured me into doing surgery instead of a biopsy (i.e. they wanted to get more money out of me). That surgery was the beginning of the end of her life. The surgery itself was poorly done (her foot was swollen to double it’s size when I picked her up afterwards and the vet did NOTHING to address it) and when I’d noticed my dog ripped some stitches out of the incision from scratching, it was never re-sutured to keep the gap closed. It was also infected. A few days later, my dog ended up needing emergency surgery to fix the damage the first vet caused. Her entire incision ripped open (5”-6”). All in, this entire thing cost me about $4000 total. They charged me for every follow up visit even though THEY messed up. Additionally, what should have been a 2 week recovery time turned into a 6 week recovery time, which was 4 extra weeks my dog couldn’t attend her physical therapy to help with mobility issues (which I now know was a result of the missed DM diagnosis). Had the vet who did the surgery done things appropriately, and responded to the ripped incision with actual consideration instead of slapping some antibiotic ointment on it and calling it good, my dog would still be with me today. Instead, she is dead and the last few months of her life were spent in pain. This veterinary practice is negligent at best. I’m currently looking into an attorney about everything that happened.

We just moved to Colorado and got so lucky to have found Eastlake Vetrinary. Dr. Emily Miller was amazing with our pets. Our elderly dog and rambunctious cat actually enjoyed their vet visit and we couldn't be more appreciative. If you are looking for a knowledgable, kind, caring vet, Dr. Emily Miller is the one! Thank you!!

I took a bit to write this review, however after I kept thinking about it, I am beyond frustrated. I have had 3 dogs that have all gone to this vet through the years. My dog is now 16 and struggles, however I have been taking him there to get his nail trim because they are sweet and gentle with him the first few times. I have not been able to go back the last 2 times I have taken him, which is fine as I am in an earshot if I hear him. While I was sitting in the lobby this last time waiting for the 15 minutes if takes to get this done, the two ladies behind the counter had such unprofessional conversations. They used foul language, talked poorly about other pet parents and were just not what I would expect from employees that are customer facing. They clearly knew I was sitting there, however used the F word more times than I could count and I would not want to be the few people they were speaking so poorly of. Just atrocious, gossipy women. It takes a lot to offend me, however as someone that works in customer service, I have higher expectations for people that do the same. These two were not anyone I would want working for me. Ever. The icing on the cake was when I went to pay. I took my dog there a month before (maybe a little longer) and it was $26. When I went to pay this time, it was over $40 - for a nail trim!! I asked how it almost doubled in price and she told me they added a "tech fee" from now on. $15 for 15 minutes!? She then proceeded to tell me that maybe I should go to PetSmart of PetCo. Seriously!!?? If they knew that when I made the appointment, they could have let me know that they added a fee, however they waited until after it was done to tell me. To me this was absolutely deceptive pricing, and an unfair practice! I feel totally ripped off and the service was terrible. After we got home, his nails were not even shorter! I know when I have to take him because he clicks on the hardwood flooring. Normally after a trim he is a sneaky little guy.Overall, after decades of going to this vet, I will never return and will never recommend this facility. I am very disappointed in the customer service (or lack there of), the outrageous pricing, the way that I was treated and the overall service my dog received. Do better. Be better people.

Front desk staff was terrible! I made an appt 1 month early, but our dog became sick in the meantime and had to spend 2 nights at an animal ER. We then asked Eastlake for a sooner appt than previously scheduled, and we were turned down. We kept the previously scheduled appt only to learn that the front desk person had cancelled the appt!! Whether it was on purpose or by accident, it was not acceptable. This person then had the gall to tell us we were to leave Eastlake Vet.Fortunately, Dr Emily walked by and heard/saw our plight and squeezed us in. She was great!!We had been Eastlake Vet customers for years. NOT ANYMORE.Totally disgusted with the way we were treated

Dr. Fusch & Eastlake Vet staff was great with my cat. He had 2 teeth pulled for the 1st time so going into this I was nervous. The doctor handled everything as I expected; with care & kindness. She went over all the after care instructions & medications making this a easy process.

I cant say enough good about this vet clinic. The vet techs are the greatest and Dr. Emily is truly the best. I brought Gracie in this morning for an evaluation before surgery and Dr. Emily remembered her from years ago and was so excited to see her again. Every single member of the staff here are so professional, accessible and just have the very best interest of our pets. Dr. Emily thank you and your great crew for taking g such great care!

I had a great experience coming here with my dog Berkeley! He gets very nervous and high anxiety for vet appointments and in the past was never able to get shots without getting sedated. The staff took the time and care to make sure he felt comfortable and distracted to where he did not even feel his shots! I was very happy and will be returning. :)

When our cat, Cooper, fell and broke the bones in his paw we made the mistake of going to the local emergency vet. Our poor boy waited in a cage for 6 hours before he was seen. During that time his paw swelled up so much it was hard for them to set his bones properly. Among other things, his first cast wasn’t wrapped properly and slipped off causing his bones to become misaligned again. The emergency vet had to reset his bones but made him wait another 4 hours before they got to him. We decided we had enough and brought him here to Eastlake. We should have done this from the beginning! Dr. Guster has made us feel at ease, answered every question we could think of, and never made us feel like he was too busy or trying to rush us out the door. He communicated everything Cooper needed at every appointment. He also treated Cooper like a family member - my favorite was when he called Cooper “kiddo”. We never felt like Eastlake was trying to upsell us or get us to agree to additional services we didn’t need. Dr. Guster is very down to earth and level-headed. Both he and Eastlake have been wonderful to work with. We will be lifetime clients! Thank you!

This is my favorite veterinary place to take my pets. The staff Is caring. They communicate cost transparently and effectively and explain the reason for procedures or tests. They care about my pups and they provide great customer service to me personally. The rooms look and smell clean. Once when my pet had to be put down from terminal cancer they took great care of us and we never felt rushed during the process and it made a bad experience a bit better.

It was 5 stars I had no issue with east lake vet… but I went in to an appointment on Dec 31 to get all my dogs shots and wellness check. Not only did they miss one of his vaccines but they didn’t update his vaccination record. They said he never had his heartworm check. Which I had the invoice in my email of the test… hurts my heart that they missed this very important detail and keeping my dogs health records up to date. Highly recommend you go to a vet that pays attention to detail.

I cannot personally attest to the actual veterinary care this clinic provides, but what I can attest to is the wonderful customer service provided to me this afternoon. If the level of concern and care to me - and I'm not even a client of this office - was very excellent, it's a great indication that this clinic actually cares and is willing to provide helpful guidance, when needed.I called in initially to see if this vet offered cardiology specialty services. While they do not, Holly answered the phone and was very warm and friendly. She provided great referrals that led me to a cardiologist that I will be taking my almost 10-year old Boxer Mastiff mix, Ali, to next month.I cannot be more thankful for her help and I hope that she is commended for her helpfulness. Holly sets the bar for customer service - a true rarity anymore. Thanks again, Holly!!-Traci

We're so happy we went to Eastlake Veterinary! They really helped our dog, Lucy! They diagnosed and treated the causes, rather than just the symptoms. Outstanding, very caring, helpful, and friendly staff.
