We have taken our two dogs here for a couple years now. At first they were great. But the last 3 times my dog Teeko came back with quite possibly the worst haircut I have ever seen. His head was choppy and uneven. He had missed spots across his entire body. I’m not sure who cut him and would find what they did acceptable. And this has become an every time occurrence with one of the two dogs. Won’t be back.

After 3 years, I had to find a new groomer for my very shy Yorkie. It made me very anxious. But Adorable Dog Grooming really came through and has exceeded every hope and expectations! Very friendly from the first phone call to picking up my baby. They listened to what I wanted and I got the perfect cut! I’m extremely happy and so is my pup. We definitely will be returning!Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

DO NOT take your dog here they used to have a good groomer that did a decent job but now are horrible. I picked up my dog after a regular grooming appointment and he not only wasn’t cut the way I asked he had a red cut on his bottom! His all around cut on his body was choppy and uneven. His eyebrows weren’t cut so they were left long and looks dumb and Then to top it off the front desk lady with long brown hair was very rude when I went in to receive my refund by tossing the money on the counter and say “oh here you go” with an attitude as if she was upset I even requested one!! Absolutely disgusting to treat your paying customers that way after it was YOUR mistake to begin with and didn’t even do what I asked in the first place. NEVER AGAIN👎

Kristen takes wonderful care of our two dogs. My pup drives her nuts and my pom has anxiety. Yet she still takes time for both. Great place!

We've been bringing our dog here for years! Absolutely love this place. We bring her here about every two to three months and have them do everything, including a bandana and pup-cake. We usually spend around $60 (she's a big dog), and it's worth every penny. Our chocolate lab is super high energy and they handle/treat her great. If you have a furry friend in need of a clean and trim I highly recommend this place.

I have a schnoodle named Tego, he's difficult with his paws and the previous two groomers refused to continue working with him after a couple groomings so I had to find a new groomer. We went to Adorable Dog Grooming and explained our situation. They were happy to work with him and even had an appointment available the next day. We brought him in at 8am and they explained that it could take up to 5 hours depending on how difficult he is. We got a call about 4 hours later to come pick him up. When we arrived they brought him out and he looked better than ever, literally. No groomer has ever been able to groom him this completely before, but Luke was willing to work with him and take the time and care necessary to get the job done correctly. There is no doubt that we found our new groomer, we highly recommend Adorable Dog Grooming and we are definitely going to be returning here regularly for Tego's groomings. Ps. The shampoo they used this time smells like christmas!

New: the owner responded to my previous email, so I am responding her. Please review the recent reviews and you’ll see people state “they just don’t listen”. this is very true. The owner brought me my dog out in HER. She, nor I never took the dog out of the carrier to inspect the dog. I inspected the dog when I got home. For her to say that I was OK with their work is totally wrong since I could not see the work through the carrier. And, I called her after I inspected my dog once I got home to tell her how displeased I was with the work. Take your dog there at your OWN risk. I was not willing to risk the health of my puppy. Look at all the photographs that have been uploaded. What else does it take to convince someone there is something wrong with that establishment. She is also wrong regarding the part that goes down the back of my Maltese.. I had taken my dog to a previous and she had a park going down her back. Next, I decided to go to her establishment because my husband was taking our other dog to her establishment. After what they did to my puppy, I withdrew my other dog from her establishment. My puppy’s new groomer put the part back into my puppies back. She had also stated that they were getting a lot of customers from her facility, She called me and told me that she put the part BACK into my Maltese back. All I can say is if you take your dog to the facility, make sure you and take it out of the carrier and expect it before you take it home. Then pray that it stays safe!I’ve had up to five dogs I have never met such an incompetent Groomer – did not know how to brush out a Maltese puppy the puppy was too young to receive a cut I informed the OWNER of that I only wanted personal hygiene the face cleared. They cut my puppies hair and brushed out the part that goes down on Matisses back I have never seen such incompetence and unfriendly staff take your dog there at your own risk!!!!!!

I've been bringing my dogs there for years. Probably over 10 years. They weren't the cheapest or the friendliest to people but they did a great job and my dogs were happy. Unfortunately the last two times I went they hurt my dog. He's older now and has these little moles/growths on his body. The first time they just cut one off I thought it was an accident. The second time I showed them were it was and asked them to be careful. They called me a couple hours after I dropped him off and told me I needed to come get him because he was aggressive. This has never happened. I thought they were mistaken. They said sometimes that happens when a dog gets older. I go pick him up and sure enough he has a huge blood spot on his back where they just cut off the growth again. That's why he was crying and didn't want them touching his back. Not because he was aggressive out of nowhere. When I showed them they said "oh ya he moved and we accidentally nicked him" it wasn't an accident. It was just being negligent because I showed them and asked them to be careful and they just didn't listen and put the blame on my dog. They literally just shaved the growth off

We brought our dog here for the first time. It will also be the last. They shoved my 110 lb dog into a tiny square kennel where he couldn’t lay down or sit all the way up. He was terrified and they kept him there for 4.5 hours ! It’s absolutely ridiculous. Why do you make appointment times if you keep the dog the entire day ??We paid for anti shedding treatment, nail trimming, and a bath. His nails were not trimmed at all, and he was shedding like I’ve never seen. We had to brush him right when we got home and tons of fur came out. It was like we paid $100 for nothing except a traumatic experience for the dog. Not to mention the business is cash only - another sketchy red flag. We won’t be going back. Honestly, even looking through the responses to some of these reviews from the business says enough.

The customer service of this place is terrible. Our dog looks nice but I had a 9:30 appointment and he wasn't done until 4:30. I tried to call them four times and no one answered, so I went down to the store and he was magically done as I got there. When I expressed my frustration with the lack of communication the lady told me that he is too old to come back and I could go somewhere else because he's not allowed back because "I'm risking his life and health" getting him groomed. Also, pretty shady that they are cash or check only. It's very inconvenient.

Took my corgi in for just a bath and deshedding last week which cost a whopping $90. He now has a huge patch of scabs on his shoulder. The vet that saw him said she felt it was either brush burn or not rinsing product from my dog's skin thoroughly. It is very upsetting to know that my pup was treated so roughly. And he is still shedding like crazy. Definitely do not recommend.

I won't be taking my precious boy back here. My boy was cut really bad by his male groomer. It wasn't just a knick, it was bleeding very badly when I picked him up and I had to take him to his vet. It was a laceration that required eight stitches. My poor baby suffered because I had total trust in these people to care for him the way I would or how we expect them to. They are our fur babies and mean the world to us. I will no longer trust anyone. They paid the vet bill but I still paid for the groom and believe they shouldn't have charged me. Not only was he injured badly but he got the worst haircut he's ever had. It's all uneven and he doesn't look like a Yorkie. Very disappointed. I would not even give them one star if I had the option!

Dropped my dog off to get groomed when we went to pick her up. A different customer was getting in her car with my dog. Shop was not very apologetic. If we did not show up when we did our dog would of went home with someone else. Elderly lady that didn't want to question the shop. Do not send your loves ones here..

Hello! I have recently taken my yorkie puppy Bruiser to adorable dog for his first groom! I had Danielle groom him. She was so gentle and loving with my little guy and his cut was absolute perfection. He was very greasy and came out squeaky clean and smelled wonderful. Talking to the groomer more, I found out that Adorable Dog has only senior groomers, meaning all of the groomers on staff have been grooming for ten plus years. It made me feel at ease to know that I have an experienced team working with my pet, and I will definitely be bringing my Bruiser back. Thanks Adorable Dog!

All my friends bring their dogs here for grooming, and now I know why!! Even though I live in Aurora, it was worth the drive. The shop was very clean and cute. I was embarrassed because both dogs were shaggy, and had been rolling in leaves and grass, and were a mess! But the staff at Adorable made us feel welcome, and they were gentle and calm with the dogs. I was surprised when I got a call within two hours that my dogs were all done and I could pick them up! They looked clean and wonderful, and neither dog seemed to even be stressed at all. When somebody does a good job for me, I believe in doing a review to let others know what a good experience we had at Adorable. I will absolutely keep coming here, and I hope others will too!

I used to love this grooming place but now that it’s gotten too busy it seems they don’t take their time. The last 3 times I took her have been bad but I gave them a chance to get better. I pay extra for shedding treatments however my dog is shedding worse now then before I had her groomed, I had to brush her myself to get all of the hair off. She also doesn’t smell clean, she keeps itching. I’m thinking I’m going to have to wash her myself at home which for $80 I shouldn’t have to do this it’s why I pay…. Grooming took less then 2 hours so I can tell quality has went down. They raised prices which is fine but quality shouldn’t decrease.

My 9 month old puppy was kept there for over five hours! Why? Grooming emergencies? Good grief! Way too long and her nails were cut too short on front paws. First two times I took her here was good. This time? I will no longer recommend them!!!!

Going to give Luke a 5 star. Took my Maltese in for grooming. I told him I was particular and told him to she was fuzzy when it came to her face and paws.. I was told she was as good as gold. She looked like a million dollars.Very good job Luke. Thank you Grace

I came here yesterday to get my pugs toes trimmed and I asked for Danielle to do it and she was quick doing it and was able to get all of her toes. The last place I took her they couldn't even get but 2 toes and they were rough with her. Adorable dog and Danielle were very professional and welcome you when you come in and the salon was clean. I will go back to let Danielle do her bath next time. I was also referred by danielle when she came into my job for her eye are needs. Thank you danielle and adorable dog for trimming my pugs toes and making them look so much better.

We had our dog groomed by the same groomer for 10 years without any issues. Unfortunately that business closed and we have had to find a new groomer. We have now been twice two adorable dog grooming and they shaved our dogs tail both times with two separate groomers. I made it very clear we did not want that to happen ever again. I am livid

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! I decided to bring my mini poodle here since my regular groomer was booked until end of September (it’s July 14th). I do not like waiting too long on a haircut for him since he can get really matted really quick. I brought him in at 7:30am and he was ready to come home two hours later! Usually he’s ready in twice the time! I was so surprised to see the results on him. He looked like a small teddy bear with his hair fluffed! He smelled delicious and he was super soft! His skin can get really red and irritated but it wasn’t which is so important! Believe me, I will never go back to my regular groomer. This place is great!

So inconvenient. They're not open Sundays , they only take walk in nail trims at times that the majority of people are at work , and they don't take credit cards ! Good place for old retired people with a check book . Sucks for everyone else . And they've raised their prices 4 times in the last year . I get that part, but with everything else, I'm just annoyed .
