I give this place five stars for being open on Christmas day making sure that people like my family that had to travel on Christmas could get to our destinatios. Also I have long wanted a tye dye hoodie and I actually found one here and my wife bought it for me for Christmas. They also had some snacks I never heard of and was able to try out. Their gas a few cents cheaper than the station across the street which is always a win. The woman working Christmas day was super nice and a pleasure to speak to on Christmas or I imagine any other day too.

Having used this station a few times over the decade, I still go across the street. Their pumps are slow and service can be good and or bad.I think they stay open because they run/own the RV park out back.

Very unpleasant experience. The pumps are beyond extremely slow.There is a nice gas station across the street with friendly service, clean restrooms, and well stocked. The pumps actually pump like they should.

Nice friendly little shop with an awesome little cafe in back. We ordered a croisant sandwich and the biscuits and gravy combo. The sandwich was much bigger than expected and the sausage gravy was delicious.

First off the staff are super nice and helpful. A special thinks to the lady worker that helped me out on Friday night. Then this place also has really good food for a good price on most items. You order the food at the register and then go in the back to the tables to eat. I got to have both dinner and breakfast here and both were good. They also have a laundry mat in the back.

This station is superb in many ways, a Stratton landmark. We love the people who work here and have returned over the years. The coffee is special, the cooks are great and the menu is terrific. Plus Coors Light. And showers plus laundromat and a beautiful large trailer park and campground. Just the best, and this is unsolicited. Thank you, Yogi, Kristi, Sue, Chad and Alli.

Nice and friendly. they have a place for you to park your RV or camper over night or stay awhile as well. Laundry and shower too shower are for the campers only. They also now have a small restaurant Breakfast, up to 10am / Lunch 11 to 230pm / Dinner 430 to ?? can't remember when they close the restaurant. price are very good and affordable.

Clean gas station...a lot of different snacks, candy bars...the sale puff bars which are amazing...all the people are very friendly...Jolene is the sweetest...and Ms Kristy...I noticed they supply different kinds of hard alcohol...love their shirts, and the variety of keychains.

First place in the world I've received a military discount on fuel ($.05/gallon). Super helpful and patient attendant as we figured out what we needed. Bathroom faucet only gave scalding water is my only negative.

First and foremost, if your doing a road trip to Denver Colorado, get gas in Kansas. No matter the price, if your low on fuel stop and get it in Kansas first. Now for this small simple quiet mountain country town it can never be a true five stars, but the people working are so friendly that it could be a moderate four stars, and I was going to give it four stars until I went to the restroom and used the urinal. As I went too flush the handle started leaking and spitting water onto me. Not only that but the water and waste in the bowl started splashing out onto me as well...... I will not be there again.

Reservations: The manager was (Tiffany) immediately responsive.Checkin: A very friendly and helpful man checked us in.Location: Campground is located a few hundred feet from I70.Site condition: The sites are asphalt, level, and solid. Campground is easily navigated. The sites are average in their length and width. Navigating the campgrounds is trivial, as the campground is quite small. There are no untrimmed trees, narrow roads, or vehicles parked in the road.Utilities: Electric, water, and sewer were all very good. The 50 amp service is solid.Local attractions: The town of Stratton is nice, but a bit short on entertainment. Jackie's Cafe at the Conoco station and Handi's cafe are the only places for food. The American Legion hall is open to the public if you want to socialize. That's about it in this small town that the manager of the store referred to as a "child raising town". This seems an apt description of solid hard working grownups who want a safe place to rear their children.Amenities: Didn't check out the showers. The restrooms were clean. No pool, playground or other such amenities. There is a cafe in the Conoco station that serves good food at great prices.Internet access: Internet via Wifi was slow, adequate for patiently catching up on the news and pulling down your email.Problems: None.Summary: This is a simple basic RV campground that will provide your water, electric, and sewer. If you just need a place to rest for a night (or in our case two) then this is a great place to do it, especially if you are on a tight budget. The campground and restaurant have very good prices. Even the Conoco convenience store has good prices, including fuel. The staff of this establishment were without exception the very best. Tiffay just made our breakfast. I wish that I could recall the name of the man who checked us the evening we arrived. These are the most welcoming people that I have met in my travels of 50 states and many countries.

Very clean, good food and good service. I really recommend coming here during a road trip and stay at the hotel or rv park near by. If I didn't live so far away I would definitely come by here again

I noticed a few cute tshirts and the coffee smelled great. I was close to home after 2 days of driving, so I was in and out. The place seemed clean too. I appreciate that.

They have a little cafe inside named Jackies, and the food is amazing. I recommend stopping in on any road trip thru this area. Cheap, handmade, great food.
