Try to exchange Christmas presents with tags still on everything the attitude and rudeness from the managers is unreal never seen it before my life they treated me as if I was a criminal like I stole my Christmas presents and went up there to exchange them for ones that fit me they refuse to return any of my items told me to take my stuff and leave call district district told them let me go in there and get a gift card like all the other stores that you Nationwide so the manager proceeds to give me the bottom number on all of my items $200 pair of boots I get $148 a $50 jacket I get $37 on $40 wallet I got $36 for the pants didn't have a price on the tag so I'm not sure how much I got ripped off on that one but it was anywhere from $80 to $100 I got robbed out of my Christmas presents because the managers wanted to be rude and nasty and not follow the company policy which makes no sense to me they asked me who bought my Christmas presents so they can run that person's name against their credit card machine and I told them they do isn't from their store they were mailed to me for a Christmas present I've never heard of somebody asking you who bought you your Christmas presents when you try to return them to get ones that fit you or just to exchange them for a different jacket I've never heard of anyone doing that they robbed me of my Christmas

Good selection, decent prices. Staff aren't always the most pleasant to deal with, they tend to forget the greetings and the thanks, but still worth a stop if you're needing hardware, animal feed and western wear, to name a few. My pooches do love the doggie treats they have, always a great selection.

I've shopped at Bomgaars for years now and have never had a bad experience. But they say there is a first time for everything right. Today I went in with my girlfriend to meet with a friend and just pick up a couple of things, and for some reason the staff thought we were shoplifting. When in fact we weren't. So instead of politely confronting us or even asking what was going on, they rudely followed us around the store and then four employees gathered at the front door to watch my girlfriend and I leave. Terribly disrespectful and absolute horrendous costumer service. I will never shop here again

Love this place! It's a shopping trip my son & I can share & really both enjoy. There's a bit of everything we could want or need from work clothes for him, to pet supplies, to my all time favorite licorice all sorts. We always enjoy looking & usually find something we didn't even know we "needed" The clothing is really nice for hard workers because it's comfortable yet durable. I love being able to buy a little something nice for everyone in the family including our pets when we visit. Plus they carry things I used to have to order online as no one had it locally but now I don't have to wait on or pay extra for shipping which is nice. Great selection & the prices are on par with other similar retailers but they do offer really nice sales pretty regularly which puts them a step ahead in my book. The staff is very friendly & helpful. They seem quite knowledgeable about their products which I really appreciate because I know I'll always get the help I need.All in all it's one of my favorite Sterling stops.

Great shopping!! Bird feed, lawn seed and getting to check out new chicks. Hopefully will get some this year, know the kids will enjoy them. Good service!! A line at check.out, but expected with nice weather today!

What wonderful people! They helped us get our wheelbarrow inside of our car and that wasn't easy to do! Always have wonderful hens, chick's, and gardening supplies. Also they have dog, ranching, farm equipment, and tools. Plants are coming in and its time to start planting. They have all your needs right here. You won't be disappointed.

Never a dull moment... Friendly and very helpful in all my needs... From emptying the last on sale bucket with other products to wheeling my load and helping put items in the vehicle... I've had zero problems and I have respect for all their employees... God's Blessings to them All...👍👍

Everyone was very helpful. They didn't have the winter gloves I was looking for but I found some great sales on wrangler men's and boys button up shirts. Also a few nice womens clothes.

I needed assistance obviously a good employee would recognize someone walking around looking for these particular items but none of the employees offered to assist me so they officially lost out on sales and future sales

Made another fruitless trip to Bomgaars yesterday. The replacement blades I needed for my weed eater were only packaged with an expensive extra part I didn't need. After tracking down an uncaring employee only to have him shrug and and say that what was on the shelf was all they had, I made a quick and easy online order with another company. Incentive to shop local becomes non-existent when the store doesn't carry what I want and the people who work there don't care.

Found what I needed but it didn't fit in my car. The young man and lady at the pickup area didn't hesitate. The took my purchase apart so that it would fit. THANKS!!!! Customer service is alive and well in Sterling!

Great store with a wide selection, clean location, good help and good prices. If I was to nitpick it would be that they go out of stock on some things too often, but they will give you rain checks on sale items which is nice.

Good farm and ranch goods in town. Stock our brand of dog food for a reasonableness price. My yard’s grass seed comes from here too. With two dogs hard to find tough grass. The endurance blend is where it is at!

The bird seed was on sale!! The check out girl was very slow and did not understand when I asked for a check out bag to assist her bagging our products. She said she had beed there working for some time, a little over a year.

Brand new and built with great care building. It's well lit, spacious check out area, wide entrance doors, concise planned shelves, and fully knowledgeable friendly staff.

I only shop here because they carry some products I cannot otherwise get locally. I have never been impressed with their customer service; they move the stock around frequently so it's hard to find even the items I buy often; their prices are higher for similar items that other stores do carry.

I loved this store! There is no Bomgaars where I live and now I'm sad. this store had everything you can ever need. I would go back if I'm in the area again.
