Stayed here overnight on our way south. Rooms are clean and each has their own "personality"!The proprietor is very kind and checking in was easy.If we're ever in need a good place to stay when heading north or south, we will stay here again!

You know, I've got to say it was very nice and quiet, very clean. I mean, it is an old hotel $61 for the night. And that is including the tax. I think it was just a nice restful night for me. You gotta stay here if you're ever in the area of Springfield Colorado I looked at some of the other hotels. Wow. They are falling apart. I wouldn't want to stay there. Unfortunately, and I hate to say that, but they are in bad condition. This one is cyes quite clean. Not a lot of people. The guy that works. There is super nice superfriendly. I really appreciated him helping me set up. The DirecTV little did I know the box was unplugged LO. L, there was a chair in the way I couldn't see and I didn't look. I just drove 8 here from Texas but anyway, stay in this hotel. If you can it's a great clean. Clean clean and quiet place.

Had to stop on the way to ft Morgan. Best little hotel ever stayed in. Sweet room. Fridge tv microwave and nice bathrooms. Clean rooms and nice staff. A must stayRooms: Perfect rooms. A must stay.

My husband and I were driving from Chicago to Cortez,Co and were desperately looking for a reasonable priced room around midnight ,because we were ready to sleep. Mark at the desk was so kind and gave us a VERY reasonable rate ! The room was older ,but VERY clean and neat..perfect ! What a bonus that we could park directly in front of our door and walk right into our room. I want to mention that the shower was amazing ,even had a heat lamp installed into the ceiling..who don't love that ??!!!

Beware of this place. The owner will not ask if you have pets, the check-in papers also don't say anything about pet policy or pet fees. I usually stay at Motel 6 where i am asked about pets and if any fees they are known upfront.The room was $65 and i was charged $37.50 more. Called the place to find out why assuming it was a honest clerical error and was given a BS answer that the room was pet-free and that there was a sign not sure where saying so. Saw and talked to the clerk a few times throughout my stay and was never made aware that the room was pet-free even though he clearly stated he saw my dogs. I could have moved to another room if that was the case. Couldn't have hidden the pets as the clerk implied since the room was next to his office.Each hotel has its own policy, which I'm not supposed to know unless I'm given and signed papers showing otherwise or asked clearly about pets. It is on the business to show the policy, not mine.Apparently, the lack of transparency is intentional since the extra charge will come after you have checked out and can't dispute it.Stay away from this type of business if you can. I've been to many hotels... first time I come across this.

Great little gem in Springfield. Cozy and warm. Room is clean. Lots of extras; recliner, charging ports, desk, microwave. Cool payphone in our room. We're going to remember this place so we can come back.Walkability: Restaurant 1 block away.

The rooms are immaculately cleaned! Even some of the bigger chains of motels/hotels are not this clean! I own a cleaning business and the cleaning was very detailed and shiny! I truly appreciate it! The staff was nice and very welcoming! No noise, no drama! Just a nice place to sleep comfortably for a night or more! ! I also like the old school feel! I was impressed with the amenities available in the room. They offer more than motel 6 for sure! I'd recommend this motel and would stay again! Thank you!

This place is definitely a diamond in the rough like another reviewer said. It is very CLEAN! There was not even a layer of dust on the edges along the tile line in the bathroom which is normally always dirty in most hotels I have stayed and even cleaner than major chain mor expensive places. My fiance and I loved the warmth and charm of the room. It gave us nostalgia of when we were kids in country cabin with the classic furniture and decorations. Marx at the desk was friendly and greeted us with offer of a soda or beer. Don't be fooled by the outside which has not yet been updated as the motel said all the work has been invested in the rooms. It is not on the main street which is good because it was quiet in our room and only halfa block behind the main road. We were very pleased with this find on Google and will definitely stay there when we pass through again

Charged me for things I didn’t do. Blamed me for a state of their room. They already had stained up carpets & blamed it on me. From what I gathered from my stay there. They don’t have very many clients so they over charge the clients they do have so they still make their money. I feel sorry for them. Do not waste your money there or at least take photos of your room beforehand

I showed up here after a long, hot day on my motorcycle. I had a reservation at the Starlight, but they were not there when I showed up, and did not answer my calls. I walked in here without a reservation, and they gave me their last room for $60.00, plus tax. It was clean with a queen and a double, there was a small refrigerator, the window A/C worked well, and the bed was comfortable. It is a block from a nice local restaurant. Don’t let the exterior turn you off, it is a nice place to stay in Springfield!

Just so happy to see this. My Great Grandmother: Sally Crawford built this Motel. My last visit to Springfield was as a child in the late 70’s. She was an amazing Woman! It’s amazing to see her vision for a much needed Motel is still in business. I hope to visit one day!

Family owned and managed . Clean , comfortable smaller one story motel one block off the main street that runs through town . The owners were very accommodating and friendly, taking care of our needs , we had 5 rooms for 3 days, not one complaint from any of us . It's a little older place but kept up and very clean . There's restaurants near by and the Longhorn Steakhouse is literally a walk across the street and 1 block south .Thank You Mike & Family , we'll be back .

Mr. Mac is very nice person, we reached at 10pm , he ordered complemetry beer, water and cool drinks when we checkin. Its worth staying while you are doing long drive and for night stay.Thanks Mac for keeping AC on and keeping the room cool at this weather.

The managers have been very friendly. We came into town late at night, looking for a place to sleep. A friendly cashier called this hotel and the manager said he will hold a room for us. We got there and stayed two nights because of their friendly and hospitable service. Definitely we will stay there again if we visit Springfiel, Colorado. Thank you for your kindness.

They were so nice to me. My truck broke down and they took care of me. My stay was pleasent and the service was helpful and nice. Room had a old school feel to it which was a nice change for me. I'll definitely come back if I ever need a spot to rest up
