Searching for a place to stay after a day of traveling, we came across this wonderful place. The photos showing it were spot on. Very friendly people helped us from the git go. The room was spectacular with it's custom made cabinets, etc. Full kitchen, which we ended up using, and they had anything you needed. And to walk out the back door to a deck and relax was awesome as you could hear the water soothing sounds. So glad we stayed here, it was a pleasant experience.

We had a great stay in Cabin B, which was the perfect location right on the river! The two-bedroom cabin was more than big enough for us to enjoy with our dog for our couple getaway! We grilled on the huge deck every day and sat out basking in the amazing fall sunshine. Our dog loved wading in the river and chasing around the chipmunks! Wolf Creek Ranch is a gem in Colorado. The cabin was clean and cozy, nights were nice and quiet, and we really enjoyed our stay. We've made a note to come back to ski in the winter!

I have been staying here for years at the motel and finally decided to pony up for one of the river cabins. Spent the last week here and the stay was FANTASTIC. The cabin was perfectly equipped for our needs and the management was very helpful and courteous. We recommend Wolf Creek Ranch and the Wolf Creek/South Fork/Creede area to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain trip without the excessive crowds and resort pricing!

The lodge itself is very clearly geared to a winter log cabin feeling, and that definitely works. Service is quick and the views are absolutely stunning! I can’t recommend the lodge we stayed in however, as all the beds and pillows were hard and there was a lack of bedside tables, and only one individual room for a lodge that was advertised as sleeping 6. The other two beds were upstairs in one big room. Additionally, the shower had carpeted for (I get it, so your feet don’t get cold in the winter), but it made the whole room smell musty after a shower. I love the views and the location, but there’s just a few things to think about before renting.

Our one week stay here was absolutely AMAZING! The location is beautiful and peaceful. Our cabin was right on the creek. In the morning, I could drink my tea on the deck while listening to the creek and the birds and in the evening, have a fire, roast smores and gaze at the stars...even shooting stars. It was great to be able to bring groceries and have the stocked kitchen and outside grill to cook our own food. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Michael and Jennifer!

Great lodge, stays warm, nice amenities and fixtures, kitchen with dishes and Keurig. Still bring your own paper towels and maybe dish soap. Definitely worth what we paid for 4 nights. 10-15 min drive to wolf creek. Hwy 160 was completely covered and we brought a RWD car with sports tires.. we put on chains around south fork. They cleared the roads by the next afternoon

This place is amazing as is Jennifer the General Manager. We got lost getting here (don’t use google maps for this-google has it wrong) so we called and she got us on the right track. When we arrived she said, “you sounded so stressed, so I upgraded you”. She didn’t need to do that but wow. Thank you!Cabins are clean, upkept, modern, and….cozy! Hearing the River 24/7 is amazing and you have everything you need with creature comforts of WiFi, grill, kitchen, etc. great for pets as well. Fantastic getaway location and we will be back.

The place is clean and looks new. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room has a kitchenette and a grill out back. It's just 9 miles southwest of South Fork and 40 minutes from Pagosa Springs. It's a great place. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

I’m sure the place is great. But very frustrating when you can’t get to your room due to weather, but can make it the next night, and the owner don’t offer ANY help whatsoever to a fellow small business owner. It would have cost them $0 to just bump our room reservation to the next night, since they have rooms available. This was a chance to show that small businesses still have great customer service, but instead, $200 down the drain and I’m taking $1,000+ worth of business elsewhere.

Stayed for two nights and had an awesome time! The rooms felt like your own cabin. It was super cozy and quiet. Fully equipped kitchen was a great surprise! The river running behind the lodge made it even better. I'd certainly recommend and look forward to returning!

I'd say this place is pretty decent for the location. The price is a little higher than most options around but you're closer to the ski area for it. The bed is okay but a tad firm. The fifth star really came off because this is a ski lodge, yet they do not make sure your room is pre warmed or care to de-ice the front walkway of your door. They do have a hot tub that is very conveniently located to the rooms however the jets or lights don't really work. The kitchen is *mostly* stocked but lack a few essentials (foil for the dirty cookie sheet, paper towels, condiments, nonstick spray).

Wonderful hotel room and a fantastic and kind staff. This place was great they have just recently started renovations on the rooms and they are very well done. It felt like a home away from home you have access to a full kitchen and a patio with a propane BBQ. There is also a hot tub and the river runs right behind the property. The only issues I had were that there isn't AC so it might get hot in the summer thankfully there is a big window at the front of the room so you can get a nice breeze and that there is no cell service but that is not the owners fault you can't control that.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary small getaway last night. Unfortunately we were running a little late. We called the office before they closed at 2100. The woman who answered the phone informed us that it is perfectly fine and that she would just leave the door to our room unlocked with the key on the counter. I have never had this experience with any other place that we have stayed at. When we opened the door, the view was 100 percent better than expected. This cabin motel should definitely be rated much more than what it is. We will definitely be coming back to stay with them. It was the most amazing experience that we have had with lodging. Thank you all so much.

Very nice little motel and cabins in south fork about 10 minutes away from wolf creek. Stayed in the hotel which was newly remodeled and decorated nicely. Would stay there again for convenience and price. Was very clean and quiet. Best part was the hotel room had a little kitchenette! Shower was nice.

Heading East from the Wolf Creek Ski Area, the Wolf Creek Ski Lodge is the first bit of rustic civilization that you will see. Roughly 7.5 miles from the slopes, it was a wonderful find during a recent winter vacation. Honestly, the sign out front won't make you stop and their web site is really basic, but if you're looking for quaint mountain cabins with full kitchens, beautiful solid wood counter and table tops, wood paneling, cable TV and wifi, a generous deck on a river, grill, wood stove, and clever mountain decorating details throughout then the Ranch might be what you are looking for. Recently renovated and neatly plowed when it snows. The owners (Jennifer and Michael) are also the front desk staff. You can tell that they really care about their cabins!

This quaint, cozy place is as friendly and welcoming as anyone could imagine! Recently remodeled, the rooms are cute, cozy with full amenities plus 2 queen beds. Super easy access to Wolf Creek Ski Resort (9 miles!), dog friendly and affordable. We'll definitely come back if we ever ski Wolf Creek again!

We stayed in one of the rooms not the big cabins on Spring Break a few years ago and I have been trying to find this place again as my dad didn't remember the name and I was younger and didn't remember either, but this place was absolutely amazing. It was my dad and I's first time ever seeing snow as we are from Houston and snow and not just sleet isn't really a thing, this was an awesome place to stay and I am looking forward to bringing my family to the cabins to stay soon!

Comfortable bed, very clean rooms, wish the deck was covered. Very nice manager. No food or groceries nearby so pick them up on the way. Right beneath Wolf Creek Pass. Gorgeous area. Rains 3-4 times a day so if you are on a cycle have your rain cover or gear.

We had a great time at Wolf Creek Ranch Ski Lodge. Such a close drive to the ski resort. The managers were very accommodating and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was recently renovated and was perfect for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful setting and very close to Wold Creek Ski Resort. Cabin was spacious and clean. I would just ask they fix the upstairs shower to not make that horrible noise while taking a shower.
