Stayed at Beau’s pet friendly apartment this summer as I was passing through and spent a couple nights. It was a very clean and spacious place right on the river. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was well equipped to meet all our needs.Fun Fact: There is a river access point to float the South Fork of the Rio Grande directly across the street from the apartment which was super convenient and we had a ton of fun taking our puppy for his float on the river and taught him how to swim. It’s suppose to be word class fishing but I ended up being too busy with the pup to fish. That particular stretch of river is super gentle.There is plenty of recreational fun to be had all around the little town of South Fork and would definitely return for a longer stay.

I wish there was an option to give this business 0 stars, but unfortunately there isn't. We booked a place through Beau Meyer's Reality to stay at while skiing. We were told we could pay cash when we arrive, that we didn't need to fill out paperwork or anything until we get to South Fork. The dates on vrbo were blocked off for the time we were staying immediately after speaking to Beau. We called 4 days before the trip to check on the procedures when we arrive, and they said we didn't have a reservation, that they have already booked the place for another family! They were not willing to help us find another rental or anything. They have left us scrambling and don't care. When people make that bad of mistakes, they should be trying to help fix it and make it right. This company could care less and it's sad to think how bad their customer service is. How can you be in the rental business when you can't correctly rent your properties? Again, they deserve 0 stars, 1 star is too much.

We have rented many properties and this is by far the worst service we have ever gotten. When we arrived at a condo managed by Beau Meyer's Reality we found that neither the heat nor the fireplace worked. Yes it was June, but it was down to the 40's at night. When we called up Beau Meyer's Realty we were rudely told that we didn't need heat because it was summer. After some discussion the man on the phone told us that he would call us back. After an hour we still hadn't received a return phone call so my husband called him back. It was clear that he had never intended to return our call. After some discussion he agreed to come over, which, surprise, surprise, he never did. We received zero communication. I cannot recommend that anyone rent a property managed by this company, or allow this company to represent you. We are actually rental property owners ourselves and would be appalled if any of our renters received this kind of customer service.

Recently stayed at one of his vacation rentals in South Fork, and was very impressed. The place was very clean and had everything needed to feel comfortable (full kitchen with cooking supplies, TV, wifi, etc.) Also the cabin was right on the river with great views, and close to restaurants and grocery store.Beau was polite and professional. Would definitely stay at his vacation rental again!

Earlier this year, we had put a $400.00 cash deposit down with Beau Meyer on a beautiful 2-story vacation rental right outside of South Fork, CO reserving the week of June 29, 2013 through July 6, 2013. We were to leave Ada, OK on Friday, June 28, 2013, and drive approximately 13-14 hours to get there. On Monday, June 24, 2013, we learned from the news of the unfortunate mandatory evacuation due to the dangerous wildfire heading straight for South Fork. We placed a call to Beau Meyer and left a message that we needed to cancel our reservations and requested a refund of our $400.00 deposit. On Wednesday, June 26, 2013, he returns the call to verify our reservation saying South Fork is open for business but no tourist are allowed in yet. He refuses at first to refund our $400.00 deposit despite our telling him that due to the wildfire, we had to make other vacation plans at a moments notice for that week and needed that money. Then he says he will ask the owners and get back with us. Today is July 10, 2013. We have not heard anything from him one way or the other. Has anyone else had this problem with Beau Meyer, and if so, if you were successful in your endeavor, can you suggest another way besides through legal action. Thank you.

Our son recently got married in Del Norte, CO and we looked up a place to stay on vrbo. As it turns out, Beau Meyer Realty handled the property. I called aprox. a week before we were to be there and spoke with Becky concerning an additional guest that was showing up and she was so gracious and warm! When she heard our group had a couple of little ones, she went out of her way to procure 2 pack-n-plays so we would not have to pack them with us during our travel. We enjoyed the house and it was very clean. Becky also gave me some referrals that I needed for catering ~ and they worked out great! We would definitely recommend Beau Meyer Realty ~ thank you Becky!!

Do NOT use this realtor! I have never encountered such unprofessionalism and discrimination as with Beau Meyer. He tried swindling my disabled father into buying a severely damaged home with numerous issues, that he then tried hiding(water damage, refusal to allow well and crawl space to be inspected, etc.) Mr. Meyer knows my father is physically disabled and can not inspect these areas by himself. However he refused to allow my father to even view these areas, despite knowing he is not physically able to do so. Mr. Meyer and his company then tried pressuring my father into buying this severely damaged home for months(still NOT sold) to the near point of harassment, including while we were on a family vacation! Mr. Meyer then began threatening my father, with the money he would supposedly lose if he didn’t close on the house so he could get his commission. Thankfully my family was able to ensure Beau Meyer Realty was not successfully able to take advantage of my elderly disabled father by buying a damaged, unlivable home and refused to accept Mr. Meyers threats into buying a home.This was several months ago, but unfortunately Mr. Meyer is still attempting to intimidate and harass my father in his own town of South Fork. My father is again, physically disabled and enjoys fishing when he can. He LEGALLY parks close to the road so he doesn’t have to walk far because he is unable to without collapsing. Mr. Meyer then stopped to harass my dad 2 days ago while he was fishing, threatening to call law enforcement for where he was parked. I do NOT appreciate Mr. Meyer continuing to harass my elderly and disabled father for not buying one of his damaged homes several months ago because he didn't get a commission. I would like to inform Mr. Meyer that this was discussed with local law enforcement yesterday, who have assured my family that Mr. Meyer will no longer be able to harass my father for supposed illegal parking-as it is NOT. And if there are any more issues in being harassed by this realtor and his company, I will be reporting that to law enforcement as well. A company who discriminates against the physically disabled and targets them in order to take advantage of the elderly is not a good company. Don’t even view a home with this company and Mr. Meyer unless you want to be harassed and threatened months later! I will also be saving this review for when Beau Meyer Realty tries deleting the horrible reviews again later. This is the third time I’ve had to repost this review as it appears to continually be deleted by this company. If any of the above is untrue, I encourage Beau Meyer real estate to respond to my review. I would only hope to save others the grief and harassment of dealing with this company, not to mention the discrimination against the disabled like my father.Maybe if the main realtor wasn’t pretending to be parking enforcement and focused on selling good homes, he could’ve sold that damaged home already.

Every time we step foot in one of Beau's cabins we feel immediately at home! He's an incredible host and leaves no need left unmet. We always stay longer than planned, and the kids have started referring to one of the cabins as "our other home."

BUYER BEWARE!! BED BUGS BED BUGS!!We stayed at Bear of the River rental and it had a BED BUG infestation. The guest who stayed upstairs had so many bites he had to go the hospital. We were very disappointed in Beau Meyers response which was to offer us a partial discount for 1 night after we stayed an entire weekend. Would never stay there again. Also had multiple people come to the house unexpectedly.
