The Triangle is a Silverton legend and frankly, on my 8 to 10 trips to Silverto,. I’ve never stayed anywhere else. What Triangle lacks in opulence it more than makes up with comfort and cleanliness. Hard to imagine a better value in any kind of ski town.Rooms: Rooms are clean and comfortable. Suite C was a spacious two bedroom apartment that suited my daughters and our cooking needs perfectly.Nearby activities: Great access to Silverton Mountain skiing and touring on red Mountain Pass.Walkability: Located between the bars and restaurants of Silverton and the grocery store. Perfect for people like us that prefer eating in most nights.

Our stay at the Triangle Motel was pleasant and mostly quiet. Upon checking in and getting to our room, the first thought that crossed my mind was that this was a biker motel with as bare bones/no frills that our room was. Our room had electric baseboard heat which was nice since it was pretty cool while we were in town. The room also had a floor fan which helped move the air.Our room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and we had all that we needed for a couple days as we used Silverton for some local trails. Staff was super friendly and helpful.Despite being a bare bones/no frills place, if we are ever in the area, we'll definitely stop back in.

My wife and I and our 2 cats stayed 4 nights, starting 9/4/2023. Is was a great experience. The room was very clean and well stocked. There was a free continental breakfast every morning and the coffee was flowing too. Dawn seems to pretty much run the show there. It didn't matter whether it was morning, noon, or night - she was taking care of her customers with a great attitude and warm smile. We'll be back for sure next year.

Great little motel. The breakfast pizza and coffee are an easy and really nice way to start a morning with a lot to do. You can get it quick and hit the hills. On the other hand, a nice breakfast at Kendall Mountain Cafe is an outstanding tradition also. Live like a hobbit and have first AND second breakfasts! What the heck, you'll burn it off hiking that afternoon anyway. The rooms are clean and there is a nice little kitchenette with a fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, and basic dishes. There is plenty of parking and an overflow area around the side. They even still have the gas pumps to top off your tanks.I added a picture of the mama moose and her calf that wandered right through town because it was just too cool not to.Walkability: The whole town is in walking distance. But, do drink plenty of water because that elevation is no joke and the high altitude headache can get intense if you're not acclaimed. Do yourself a favor and skip on the alcohol the first night and just crush some water; you'll thank me for it. The second night hit the town and stick with a 1:1 beverage to glass of water. The brewery and the wood fired pizzas are a great spot for dinner.

We stayed here for the Hardrock 100 and we have nothing but wonderful things to say!I got locked out of my room and was helped with in minutes to get back in. I left my sandals behind and they mailed them back to me. The rooms are adorable for a mountain town old school motel. Dont get your panties in a bunch this is not the Holiday Inn. But breakfast and coffee and great views and great energy from staff.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed a full week with family and friends. The staff was super friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. All the rooms seemed to be updated and were nice and clean. It is very convenient to have the little gas station on the premises for any last minute items you may have forgotten as well as the handy continental breakfast.

Dawn, a virtual one-woman show, was super helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again just because of her dedication to customer service.Rooms: No a/c but clean.Nearby activities: Close to the mountain passes for motorcyclists.

Wasn’t bad. Just so everyone is clear when booking online this hotel doesn’t have AC (not the cause of the 3 star rating).Only issue. In a hotel that doesn’t have AC the expectation is to leave your windows open. The issue with that here is there are zoning areas in front and back of the room I was in. We had to close windows on several occasions to stop the cigarette smoke from coming in. Might want to move the smoking areas further away or make the property smoke free.

I would give 3.5 stars if I could. The room was clean and had an updated kitchenette area that included a microwave, sink, mini fridge/freezer and full sized coffee maker. There was also ample room to store perishable items. There wasn’t, however, anywhere to stow luggage except on the top of a bed. There was no A/C or air circulating in general, which was one of the biggest concerns for me. Additionally my room was located inside the building with no access to either parking area. The majority of other rooms had direct access to outside and fresh air. All the staff I interacted with, were pleasant and accommodating, which was nice.

Booked a room at Kendal lodge when checking in was told there was a water main break and moved to triangle lodge. I was not notified prior to my arrival. Was refused a refund. Very noisy , people talking out on balcony, past 1:00am. Manager smoking outside the window, was rude when asked to quiet other guests.. called Dawn and she was helpful. Noisy, on Main Street. Not a restful stay.

The room isn’t bad, but they not only allow smoking right outside the rooms, they invite it by placing ash trays outside of every door. Needless to say, every time we opened our window to try to cool our room off (because there’s no A/C), it was only a matter of time before it was interrupted with cigarette smoke. It’s also pretty noisy with OHVs driving by and often pulling in to the on-site gas station. Rooms are pretty nice, though.

Clean rooms. No AC, but don't really need it, we stayed end of July and the high was only 74 and low in the 40's. It's right on the edge of the main drag within walking distance of everything. Also has attached grocery and gas station. Great views of the surrounding mountains right off your front door! Would stay again.

You’ll probably think you made a mistake when you pull in, but you’ll rethink that once you see your room. Parking isn’t good but but surprisingly quite, I actually slept with windows open. Best place in town to buy gas too. Overall it had a good vibe, people just doing what they do, not the look at me and how cool I am vibe

The room had been updated and was clean. It was very small but at least we had a place to lay our head. Coffee maker and small fridge came in handy. Don't expect much for breakfast. The toaster didn't work, the milk was frozen and the bananas black. They did however have a waffle maker but no plates. The beauty of the area made up for the lackluster of the hotel.

Stayed in the suite that could easily sleep 5. Wifi worked great and there was always open parking spots for easy loading despite a busy snow weekend. Great service and unlimited free coffee at the gas station. If you need to stay at the Ritz Carlton, you probably can't ski this mountain. Otherwise you will enjoy walking to the market or to get dinner after some shredding some gnarly powder. Thanks Ian T.!

The Triangle motel is the only Motel in Silverton that has stepped out and put in a ADA room. We had a wheelchair bound Veteran that needed a ADA room. The rooms were wonderful!! Clean and very nice. We will stay there the next time we visit. The manager went above and beyond to help us out in every way possible! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
