Vintage style ice cream parlor with real pharmacy in the back. Ordered the Brown Cow with dairy free chocolate ice cream and enjoyed every sip. SO ordered the cherry limeade and it was super sweet! Wouldn't have minded a side of ice water with that! Loved the atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.

I really appreciate the Salida Pharmacy. I use it for my vaccinations and medications. They are always on top of things and are very friendly and patient. I'm glad they're there in what is for me a very convenient location since I'm often running errands downtown.

It’s an actual ice cream shop and pharmacy, or is it an actual pharmacy and an ice cream shop??? Tales from the creamerist: They used to make sweets so that people could ingest the crummy tasting medicine, wayyyy back in the dayyyyy… so the Soda fountain, liters of cola, iced cream shops & pharmacies have always kind of gone together. Well the ice cream is great and huge. And they have unique options. Definitely swing by and get a sundae, any day they’re open! And yeap, Creamerist is now a word!

Great local pharmacy and ice cream parlor. My wife and I have had 8 vaccinations between us there. Service has been fast, friendly, and painless. And, if you do have to wait a few minutes, the ice cream sundies are wonderful.

We stopped by this pharmacy and soda fountain when visiting Salida, and my chocolate milkshake was delicious! An adorable shop that harkens back to earlier times, this will definitely be my sweet spot when passing through. Highly recommended to locals and visitors alike - especially with visitors who you want to really impress with the historic downtown area.

I was feeling awful and was so thankful that I was able to go to Salida Pharmacy to be tested and then treated. What a great service! Within a couple of days, I was feeling so much better after taking the medication that was prescribed. We don't have that service where I'm from so I really appreciated it!

The folks at Salida Pharmacy & Fountain have been so friendly and helpful during my annoying illness. I always feel comfortable going in there, knowing I'll be greeted with a warm smile. It has made this awful year just that much easier.

We're tremendously lucky to have SP&F in our town. They're extremely competent, and are always upbeat and friendly. Their system for prescription refills and notifying when a prescription is ready is very effective, and if need be, they deliver. Mia and Emily are also very invested in delivering great service, and are proactive in researching and following up on questions to provide great care for their customers. I am a long term customer, and have never had anything other than a positive experience. Thanks!

My wife and I have been coming here for ice cream for several years now. This afternoon at 3:45 we went in and were the only 2 customers in the place. After waiting several minutes to order, a young man finally got off his butt at the end of the fountain and came to take our orders. (less than friendly) After a lot of struggle, he managed to get my wife a scoop of butter pecan and a scoop of vanilla for me in waffle cones. I must say, the scoops were smaller than we had ever gotten there before...not even close to the top of the waffle cones. Hopefully someone will have a word with this young man about his attitude and "baby" scoops. After several years, this was our first bad experience.

Edited 2021: Highly recommend this cute, delicious place! I ordered one scoop of honeycomb ice cream with hot fudge, in a waffle cone. The portion was generous, and the honeycomb ice cream is SO good! In addition to ice cream you can order flavored sodas. The ginger lime is excellent!The pharmacy portion is also wonderful. Last year I needed medicine for a migraine, and the folks here were so helpful and kind.

I've come here several times now, it's truly a destination for me at this point. I come to Salida every few months, and I will go out of my way to come here. Some of the best ice cream in Colorado, they don't skimp on ingredients and it's of a high quality. Plus it's a cool location!

The Brownie Sunday is the best I've ever had. The hot fudge was made in house that morning and the gluten free brownie was so good I couldn't leave a single bite behind despite the full size being more than enough for two adults with sweet tooths to share.
