I always love going into the downtown Salida store. They have a wonderful selection of dog goodies. If I need something specific -- the staff or Tony or Laura (owners) are quick to offer to order for me if they don't have it. Dogs come out of the store looking terrific after they have been groomed there. I think the town dog walks on Wednesday and Saturdays are the best-est. A very friendly group of Salida dog owners lead by Tony or Laura.

Great store with a wide selection of healthy dog treats, dog food and fun toys (and for cats too)!Very knowledgeable and friendly staff that is eager to answer your questions and find solutionsfor any issues you might have with your four-legged friends.Our dog Houser got a beautiful haircut from Tony prior to our recent relocation to Texas to get herready for the warmer climate. We will be sure to stop in at Gone to the Dogs during all future visits!

What is not to like about Gone to the Dogs in downtown Salida? About anything you can think of for your dog is available. There are so many interesting items to look at you should plan to spend some serious time here. The staff will happily answer you questions or offer advice about your doggie concerns. Having a self dog wash in town is very convenient and reasonably priced. Classes are offered, there is a dog walk every week, and a very large "playpen" for your pups as you shop. All in all a definite winner for Salida's canines.

Love this business. My husband and I and our dogs often use the downtown location and we always find what we are looking for and if not, we are pointed to the right direction. Laura, Tony and the staff are great. Great Self wash area, food, grooming, day care and responses to our canine questions and once in a while, responses to our life questions.

My dog, Gypsy, needed her toenails cut. She hated to have her toenails cut. Tony sat outside on the bench with us and periodically cut each one of her toenails so she would be more comfortable. He knew she would be a bit calmer outside than inside on the grooming table even though the table would work better for him. Thank you Tony!

I informed the man working that " sorry you may not pet my puppy". He is a working dog and it's a reasonable request. The mans attitude changed from friendly to quite snarky. Way to make the locals and their working k9s feel welcome. At least the other girl there asked before she approached me. Someone who says they train k9s should know to never approach a dog without an owners permission. Guess I'll be sticking to murdochs.
