Everyone that works here is so nice and so helpful. As a grown adult who has never skied I was expecting to feel intimidated all day. Never felt anything but kindness and great advice! Will definitely get my skis here before I go to monarch every time! They also have a very cute and shy pupper. Loved her!

We had a great experience getting fitted for ski boots. Jackson was awesome, running to get every boot needed to evaluated exactly our best fit. Upon his recommendation we also added custom molded inserts and we are thrilled with the difference it made. Thanks so much. Will be back to update gear as needed!

I bought amazing skis from them this year and they have treated me great they helped me with my rental boots as well!! I went through three different pairs before I found a pair that worked for me!!! Not only did they do this they also fixed my bindings for me in minutes when they broke on me in the middle of my ski day!! Honestly 10/10 place and are so helpful!!

Had a binding strap break while boarding at monarch. Brought it here and they didn't hesitate to dig up some spare parts. Even hooked me up with an extra strap for my other binding. Forgot the gentleman's name who helped me but he's a fellow BV resident and knows his snowboards. Outstanding service all around.

This place is incredible, the best equipment possible matched with insanely great prices. I want to thank Jesse B for finding my match, jesse helped me find my new board and his suggestions were spot on. Thanks to neversummer and thanks Shavano rental!!!! The best year and feeling ive had ever. Thanks again. Also wanted to add that they have the best boots ever! I wear a size 15 and these guys not only had my size they fit SO WELL. First year snowboarding with 0 pain in my feet and ankles.

Reserving was simple. Pick up was simple. Drop off was simple.We went the week between Christmas and New Years and were expecting long lines and prepared ourselves to be patient. We had the BEST experience. In and out both on pick up and drop off. Great prices and didn't have to mess with anything at Monarch.Skip the resort rentals and do it from here, it's just as simple!

My husband and I just went by this place to rent sport ski rentals for a day at Monarch Mountain. We stopped by around 8:30 am to rent our gear. There was no line, they gave us brand new boots and were very quick and helpful. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. One of the friendliest staff turned out to be the owner and was very fun to talk to. At the end of the day, when we returned our gear, the owner came out to greet us and help us carry the gear from the car to the store.Overall, this was a great place to rent gear from! I would highly recommend them, and we will use them again the next time we ski Monarch.

I had a great experience with Mt. Shavano even though my experience could have been a very sour one, however not their fault. I rented a pair of skis. It had been at least 15 years since I had been on a pair and they were very patient in re-educating me on proper fit.Unfortunately someone walked off with the skis I rented at the resort while I was taking a restroom break. I called Mt. Shavano to see what we should do and they were calm and polite in explaining the next steps. They kept the doors open to the shop 10 minutes after closing so I could return the equipment that had not walked off after we spent a considerable amount of time searching the base of the resort for the skis.The guy at the rental counter was kind in explaining the price for the lost skis and said it is somewhat common that someone grabs the wrong skis and returns them, but if they didn't show up in about a week, I'd be responsible for the price of the lost skis--as is customary when renting equipment, and not a surprise at all. I also thought the price to replace the skis was fair. Fortunately, 3 days later someone tried to return the skis to a shop in Colorado Springs (2-hours away), so I don't have to pay for replacement (wahoo!). Mt. Shavano is even arranging for them to be returned from Colorado Springs to them. I appreciate that they did all they could to get their equipment returned rather than just charging me for the skis right up front and never bothering with getting them back. They were more than fair.Thanks for providing me with a great set of skis for a beautiful day on the mountain.

I stopped in to rent skis, because I was too late to rent online. When I mentioned that I was coming back to ski in a couple days, the owner let me keep them the entire time, so I wouldn’t have to stop in and rent again. I’ve always had a positive experience at this shop, but this was above and beyond! I highly recommend renting skis here!

Excellent customer service. They had my family of five in and out in 20 minutes while decently busy. If renting the next day, they’ll hold equipment for even faster service. Plenty of variety when picking equipment. Conveniently located on the way to Monarch. Awesome prices. Highly recommend them!

Ski boots - you want comfort but you don't want to sacrifice performance. Is it possible to achieve? It is if you get your boots fit by Morgan. This guy knows feet, knows boots and knows the art and science of boot fitting. Even if you suffer from foot issues that have made finding the right boot problematic, he will provide the professional help to make your next day on the hill pure joy. If you a ski history buff, be sure to look overhead at the collection of ski equipment mounted on the ceiling. All your favorites are there.

Excellent service and friendly staff. The owner recommended absolutely amazing demo skis which elevated my game to a whole new level. I did not know if I am back on the slopes next day, so they were very flexible on the ski accommodations leaving the skis aside for me for the next day. Recommend Recommend Recommend! Rent skis here if you are headed to Monarch! This ski shop was happy to reserve 4 sets of skis for my friends and I to rent, just by calling the night before. When we got there it took less than 5 minutes from entering to exiting with skis. All of this for a price way cheaper than renting from a big retailer. The shop is just a few miles from Monarch mountain on the same road, so you get the added benefit of being able to drop them off quickly on the way home, without having to worry about making another stop somewhere in town. All around d great experience, I'll most likely be renting here in the future.
