Staff were friendly and helpful! One staff, in particular, went out of his way to personally help me find my items. I'm terrible with names, Albert maybe? I couldn't find the hose I wanted, but it isn't exactly the season for hoses, so was understandable.

Great variety of any item you may be looking for. If they do not have what you need. They will be more than be happy to order what ever it is you may need. Great service and employees are helpful to answer any questions one may have to the best of their ability.

I went to this store to buy two 2x4x10 and needed them cut down to 54 1/4 inches. so i would have 2 boards that size per 10 ft 4 total Well they changed me $1.00 per cut came out to $4.00 . When the guy cut them He stacked the two 2x4 on top . of each other and cut them . So he only did two cuts. Thought that was a little dishonest of the to charge for four cut but only did two. . It not like two bucks is a lot of money . But when your on a fixed income you have to watch every penny Other than that the service was great and super nice

I reserved a 🚛 U-Haul truck online and Picked it up from them at U-Haul inside the Arkansas Valley Lumber store. it was fast easy I did it all on my 📱 phone without talking to anyone and I was out of there in like 15 min's with my 🚛 truck. they even did a okay job on cleaning and having the truck 🚛 ready for me before I came. The only thing I could say wrong was they forgot to clean the cup holder in the truck 🚛.

Best Lumber yard I have ever been too. Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. I had little knowledge of what supplies I needed for my project and they went out of their way to help make me as successful as possible.Will continue to go here, and recommend everyone I know to do the same.

They are the worst business that I have ever delt with. They quote me a price and then go back on there price. Then they are so rude and just hang up on a person. They never have things in stock, and what they do have in stock they quote a price and do not honor that price. The owner themselves are very rude and very disrespectful. I will never use this location for any thing. The worst service I have ever seen in the valley. I've worked here and used all the resources for over 40 yrs. Very ashamed they are still in business.

Always out of products. They never seem to stock their shelves. Its one item of a product most of the time. More like a hardware store to buy nuts and bolts. In my opinion-Dont waste your time,keep on driving. Read other reviews in past few months.Had more of a selection in past with old owner before the new owner took over the business

I am the sales floor manager and it was brought to my attention a recent review left by Thomas Martin, I’d like to clear the air. Most places are in fact low or out of stock on many items due to COVID-19. This is no surprise. We try our best but are just limited and it isn’t fun to not have what our valued customers are looking for as we aim to help them in any way possible! For Tom Martin’s comment, please beware of false reviews! He is a citizen of rocky ford and was unfortunately kicked out of our store due to an altercation where he was harassing one of our yard members over a City Council Meeting. This was around the time of his untruthful review of our store. Mac Holder is a wonderful boss/owner who would not allow someone to come harass his staff or customers. I believe everyone in the community is aware of how good he is and how hard he and the staff of AVLS work to provide for the community.

Best place to go for anything you need to get your jobs at home done. I’m a electrician and go here for a lot of supplies while working in rocky. As it’s very convenient to get in and out and staff is always helpful
