It's been years since our last trip to Beaver Meadows - it has changed, a lot! The rooms are so cute now, they even gave us house slippers and a personalized "welcome" note. The food was better than I remember. We lived in Red Feather for a while, and I always remember their food being better than other options, but it was a step up from what I remember. Tubing was crazy, but fun, as always. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I think I'm most impressed with the room renovations - much nicer than what they used to be. Kudos to whoever came in and spruced that place up!

Went on line and scheduled 2 hours of tubing. Reservation was easy and the tubing was awesome. Great folks at the base and at the top. We had a great time flying down the course with the snow flying in our faces and all around us. Would highly recommend as a family outingSafety: All of the folks on the lift were helpful and very aware of everyone’s safety

Can't speak to the rooms - we just stopped in to eat, but I imagine they're just as cool as the rest of the place. We had been wandering the Red Feather area, and saw the "Restaurant" sign on 73C.We followed a snowy road back, and found the place. This is a true hidden gem, away from the I-70 insanity, and convenient for those of us in northern Colorado. We were greeted by a friendly lady, Mel, who told us a little about the area, how the place developed, and frankly, was just plain cool to talk to. I really enjoyed the Grilled biscuits & gravy. Totally different flavor, and I loved it.This is an easy drive from Poudre Canyon, so I'll be back with my mom. Thanks for capping a fun drive with a great meal!I was the guy with the blue beard.Nearby activities: We went on a winter day. The Tubing hill, the kids looked like they were really having a blast. I'd try it myself if I didn't break easily.Food & drinks: Try the Grilled Biscuits and Gravy. You can thank me later.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic time up here last weekend for some winter camping. The staff went out of their way to plow most of the camping road, even though we were the only ones camping that weekend. The renovated restaurant, lodge, and showers are phenomenal. And the place is so beautiful in the winter. We ended up meeting the new owners and they are very kind and doing a fantastic job with the place. Also, the food and service at the restaurant blew us away. One of the best breakfasts we had in a while anywhere! Come check this place out, you wont regret it!

Growing up and visiting Beaver meadows to go tubing with friends and family has been a favorite past time. Now getting ready to plan my wedding I was really looking forward to enjoy Beaver meadows in a new chapter in my life. Things don’t always work out how we would hope and the new owners aren’t exactly who they first seem to put themselves out there as. After being told one thing back in November 2023 when we gave a check to hold our date and then finally getting a contract in February 2024 along with new prices and no longer the same promises. We looked at our then contract that stated we had 7 days to opt out for a full refund and we were told it would take 2-3 weeks to receive a check it has now been 5 weeks no check Susi has since tried to rewrite the contract and took out the 7 days. Thank goodness for screenshots and time stamps. I would not book a wedding or vacation after the experience I have had with Susi.

My family and I just experienced a magical weekend at Beaver Meadows Resort and Ranch. The condo we stayed in, unit 4, was impeccably renovated, with thoughtful touches throughout. We spent the day ice skating, flying down Colorado's greatest 12 tubing hills, enjoying amazing food and hospitality at The Ranch House restaurant (when we didn't want to cook in the condo) and ended the day with an amazing sleigh ride through the beautiful property, all the way to Santa's Workshop. Beaver Meadows Resort is a true gem for the entire family. On behalf of my entire family-Young, Susi, Sean, Mel and the entire team, thank you for the very best weekend ever! We can't wait to visit again soon!

This review is only of the tubbing package. Cannot comment on the rooms etc. We booked a half day tubing package. It wasn't very busy which is wonderful for us. Checked in at the office which went fine, we did all the payment, waivers etc before we came down which made it really easy. However the place where we actually get our jacket badges was difficult. The language barrier was so significant between myself and the attendant it took 15 minutes just to get our name across and get stickers. Quite a few of the tubing lanes were closed, presumably this was because of lack of snowfall which is certainly reasonable. However, there was only one attendant at the top to help people start their tubing so we started ourselves without guidance. Towards the end of the day, a few other individuals/attendanta showed up at the top of the hills however, they were drinking beer comenced making a pit fire with chainsaws, gasoline all while drinking and while helping people down the hill. This was a little concerning and certainly not "family focused". Included in the half day package is supposed to be some ice skating. They had not shoveled off the snow off the frozen lake to have this even be an option. We've come here annually for 7 or 8 years now, but the first time after the sale to the new owners. It has gone downhill. However once again, this only speaks of the tubing package and not the resort or summer activities.

Staff is not organized. Seems like nobody speaks English anymore. Winter time maintenance crew needs training on moving snow. Owners aren't friends unless your good friends. Used to be fun place to visit couple yrs ago. Now too stuck-up!!Safety: Tripping spots all over near restaurants.Walkability: During snow on walkways you must be extra careful.

A fun place if you are in the red feather area and looking for something to do during the winter. Tubing and ice skating. It felt a little pricey to go tubing, but we had a great day. Be careful walking on the roads around the parking lot. It can be very icy. I took a fall and it wasn't fun.

Ate at the restaurant today for lunch and had the bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes. I haven’t been in years. The food was excellent! The menu has a lot of good options to choose from. The waiter was as nice as could be. I will return tomorrow morning for breakfast.

So much fun just hanging out watching the snow fall and people slide down the hill on tubes. I Ventured out snow shoeing over some pretty epic terrain as well.Rooms: We stayed in the lodge what a great time! Cozy and clean with great views.Food & drinks: Great food and drinks I highly recommend the fish tacos.Noteworthy details: Our first visit to Beaver Meadows and it was awesome! I can not say enough about the staff and how accommodating they were. We arrived in a blizzard and the GM Young came to meet us at the entry way to guide us in as there was pretty much zero visibility, Young you are awesome! Also, big shout outs to Hwi Hwi and Isaiah!! Hwi Hwi helped me dig my truck out of the snow on our second day what a great guy, thank you Hwi Hwi. Isaiah was our server in the restaurant he was helpful and pleasant. Great food too, compliments to the chef. The owners Sean and Susi were on the grounds doing snow removal themselves it was a pleasure meeting them such nice people. Thank you to all of those who make this place special and great. We can not wait to return in the summer to camp.

In mid-Dec, came here for the first time, to go snow tubing. There was no mention on their website that only 2 of their 12 runs were open. One of the runs seemed too dangerous --- my friend almost hit the fence on it, and we only saw one other person use it once. So it was really just 1 run that was open, for no discount on the price. Also, when I purchased our tickets online, there was a lot of emphasis on the 15-minute safety talk. We never got that, even when I specifically asked what we needed to know and said that it was my first time snow-tubing. I did end up hurting my tailbone and ankle, trying to avoid the big clumps of icy snow on the right-hand side of the run. Of course, those things could happen in any situation, but maybe a safety talk could have helped prevent them?Safety: Didn't get the 15-minute safety talk that they emphasize so much --- even when I specifically asked for it.

I stayed at Beaver Meadows for 2 weekends in May 2023, prior to the busy season. I stayed in one of the cabins which were clean, set in beautiful scenery, and allowed dogs. The small wood stove was a nice touch, since the nights were cold at the time. The resort itself is situated far from main roads, so it's very quiet. There are two ponds near the main office that hold very healthy trout, and it's good for both spin fishing and fly fishing. The North Fork of the Poudre River running through the property was also fishing excellently. The resort is nearby other great river and lake fishing within 30 minutes. The main office staff is friendly and helpful, and the store there sells great last-minute additions to camping. It was a nice getaway and I will definitely be staying again, probably during ice fishing season.

Beautiful, peaceful, off the beaten path! Camped for a few nights here recently and had an amazing time. It’s a bit further away from the town and that’s what i was look for. Campsite was clean, private and surrounded by the beauty of the forest. Only sounds i heard were the breeze through the trees and the rushing of the nearby river! The camp hosts and staff are overly kind, helpful and friendly and did everything they could to make the stay a great one. On site fishing ponds and restaurant are worth the time, and the views of the valley are incredible.Nearby activities: Plenty of hiking, exploring, fishing and relaxing to do on site or in the nearby town of RedFeatherSafety: It’s the forest, and wildlife is always around somewhere….that’s why we visit it… but at no time did i feel unsafe, and the hosts made their rounds through out the property to make sure everyone was doing okWalkability: Very easy to get around here. There are many more advanced trails in the connecting forest but on the resort site itself it’s pretty easy walkingFood & drinks: Great on site restaurant with tasty food

This is a review only for the restaurant. I have always like going here when I am in red feather because it is a beautiful property. The food had gone down hill over the years probably because of the pandemic. I just went last month for the first time under its new ownership and the food was amazing!! Better than it has ever been and better than most restaurants in Fort Collins (where I live).

The property is great! Scenic, well-maintained, lots of activities on site. Rooms are outdated, but clean and renovations are ongoing. The food was tasty and restaurant service staff are also great, though the kitchen was a total mess. We had various issues with every meal and the issues all seemed to stem from the kitchen itself. The place just underwent management change so I will chalk it up to growing pains.

I have been camping in Colorado for 50+ years. This is my new favorite campsite! The campsites at Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch are HUGE, allowing wonderful privacy and ample place for kids to play and explore! The staff is friendly and attentive. The campsite was clean and well kept. I highly recommend the stables. The staff was wonderful with my grandchildren. (Ages 5-8.) They had never been on horses and got very apprehensive. The staff was absolutely fantastic at making them feel comfortable. We had the best family weekend ever!
