I cannot speak highly enough about Sit Means Sit, Erin, and her remarkable dog, Bullet. Erin's deep knowledge and fervent enthusiasm for dog training are unparalleled. With Bullet playing an integral role in the training process, his exceptional obedience and skills not only set an exemplary standard but also illustrate the incredible potential any dog can reach under adept guidance and effective training techniques. For anyone seeking to bring positive transformations into their lives and that of their dog's, enhancing the joy and ease of your daily interactions, you need not search any further. I wholeheartedly endorse Erin and Sit Means Sit for anyone aiming to better their dog's behavior and fortify their mutual connection. The professionalism and tangible outcomes delivered by Sit Means Sit are truly remarkable!

I was hesitant about taking Stella to Sit means Sit for training. She was a reactive girl with some issues that my family could not live with. I don't give up on pets that I acquire though so I gave them a try. I was pleasantly surprised in so many ways. Everyone was so nice. From the first interview we had with them until her graduation I was kept informed. Every question I asked was answered. When I brought her home for the weekend in the middle of her training she was so much better. But, here is the thing. She wanted to go back, unlike the vets! She loved it there. We love how well trained she is. We will keep working with her. She seems to enjoy the sessions so much! Thank you so much Shannon!

Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Staff really loved my dog as much as I do and helped me with helping him become more confident in himself.

We did a 10 day board and train with our 4 month old, high energy pup. They did amazing work and gave us the skills we needed to keep our patience and keep training fun for the pup. Highly recommend.

I am absolutely blown away by the training and staff here! I’ve never had a dog professionally trained, so if I was going to do it, I wanted it to be done right. I dropped my 14 week old golden doodle Macie off here for the 15 day board and train, and she came back a totally new puppy! She was even freshly groomed! Not to mention this package came with unlimited lifetime classes! I am beyond thrilled with the staff who sent me pictures throughout her training, and I could tell Macie loved it too. They truly love dogs here. Totally worth every penny for this lifetime investment! Thanks guys. ❤️❤️

They work really hard to train you & your dog!!!! After Gunner's 3rd lesson he walked the block just as nice as he could be. I was SOOOOO pleased. No pulling on the leash & sat every time. I can't wait to work with him again tomorrow!!!

We adopted Ryker from a rescue in October 2021. He was in desperate need of training and socialization. We started with a different trainer that told us to return him back to the rescue.Refusing to give up on him, we visited Sit Means Sit for an evaluation. It was amazing what they did just in the evaluation. I was sold! Ryker stayed for a 15 day board and train. He has progressed leaps and bounds from where he started! We continue to go to the group classes and have had one at home session since he graduated in January. All of the trainers love each of the dogs. You can see it in how they interact in classes, and how the dogs respond back. We are so happy with the results!

We got our border collie as a pup just before Covid struck, and with us being elderly, he did not get the socializing he needed. We decided to take him for training and, hopefully, at the same time, socializing. The staff, especially Izabella and Sabrina, not only provided excellent training but also went the extra mile to help with his socializing. Not only is he behaved, but he is also now a much more relaxed and at ease dog. Many thanks for the transformation, which helped immensely during his relocation to Scotland.Would Highly Recommend Sit Means Sit.

My little girl went in a baddie and came back such a well behaved little angel. She loves her trainers, she's so good with the kids now. I couldn't endorse the work done here any higher.

Definitely BEST place in Pueblo to take your fur babies to be trained, Boarded, and even groomed. I took my wild hound to become a certified good boy and with in 10 days he was like a new dog. (still wild, but at least very manageable). The staff are so nice and so kind. They treat each animal kindly and they are just very cool people.

My handsome dog River came to me at 8 weeks old his mother was killed and he needed me to love him, he is a Red Healer Australian Shepard . As he came closer to a year old he be came very aggressive and out control, I was frightened of what may happen around other people. I was at my wit ends , then I remembered seeing Sit Means Sit at Chili Feast here in Pueblo , the dogs they had at their booth where just amazing. I called and scheduled a consultation with Sabrina. Sabrina was truly awesome in steering us in the right directions for our dog needs. He began his training February 21st 2021. He stayed at facility for 15 days to begin his training. In those 15 days I got come to see how he was progressing , to my amazement he was changing . Mind you we still had a long way to go,,, he graduated from his 15 day course and he began beginners group class. He absolutely become a different dog. Within a year in graduated to advanced group class, he excels at lengths every class we go to. He knows when it is time to go doggie schools he does his doors manners with my say he goes to car , with his big smile on his sweet face he melts my heart, knowing I have done the right thing for him to grow into a perfect loving , obedient dog. With out the help of his trainers I could not have learned the patience myself to train my River. I want thank Sabrina, Shannon, Izzy, Liz and Willy for they do to help me to help River achieve greatness…. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit , love them all. River is now 3 years old . We still attending classes weekly , always learning something new. Thank you for everything!!!!!!!!

Sit Means Sit Pueblo has been absolutely wonderful in helping us train our rescue dog. Before training our dog would attack our other dog, bark at every human he met and wouldn't let anybody near him. After working with him he now plays with our dog regularly and we have no issues and he let's everyone touch and pet him. Special shout out to Sabrina for all that she has done for us and we think of her as Caps second mom.

I have been a client of SMS Pueblo for about 2.5 years. My rescue dog went through the 20 day board and train program, which was well-worth every penny. We attend the group classes so that we can maintain his skills and learn new things. We take advantage of the day care service and he loves it. He's always excited when I drop him off and the staff is always happy to see him. They take good care of him and I never have to worry about him. I've used all of their services, including cat boarding, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Sit Means Sit went above and beyond to assure that our new puppy Sally was trained and behaving respectfully in just the two short weeks she spent at their facility. The staff was more than helpful in teaching myself as well as my son the correct commands to ensure that Sally’s training would transition well once we were home. While Sally was at “Puppy Camp,” the staff sent happy pictures of Sally playing and learning, which was such a relief to my son as Sally is his puppy. Sit Means Sit has also done a great job following up with Sally’s progress and are more than willing to help if we feel she is lacking in any areas. I felt like I had another toddler in my home when I first got Sally, now thanks to Sit Means Sit Sally is a joy and a welcomed member of our family!! Please don’t look anywhere else for dog training or boarding!

Sit Means Sit Pueblo has been a light at the end of a dark tunnel and a savior for my furkid and our little fur family. We have received excellent service. They advocated for my furkid while laying down a solid training foundation. And they have never turned us away and always made us feel at home. Even when my dog has sometimes been the bad kid in class. We always take something good away from class and things are so much better now at home. They have been a lifesaver for us!I just also have to add... it has been years since Ziggy and I walked in the door. and Because of the training that Jori and staff provided... Ziggy is still walking with success. I am able to take him to vet regularly with no problems. and he continues to enjoy that doglife, taking in the river trails and walks. We are so thankful for Sit Means Sit!!

Words can't describe the experience I have had with sit means sit. I brought in my 4 month old labradoodle named Willow. I'm an amputee and am looking to get her trained for my service dog. I went for the 20 day board and train. The staff (all of them) have been amazing. They can tell you that I was always asking questions and I was missing her so much and they sent me photos and never did they make me feel like a bother. The things they helped with changed both her and I. I will continue to use there services and would recommend them to anybody.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help and kindness and ability to start willow on the path to be a great dog.

This place is awful and has caused my dog harm. I moved to Pueblo and was trying to find a place to help my rescue dog with her dog anxiety and reactive behavior. This place is callous and disregards pet health and guardian trepidation. This place, or at least Jori, is discriminatory against older dogs and rescue dogs, and isn't upfront before the first session about being based pretty solely on shock collar use and pushing for long boarding periods to train away from the guardian, not as a pet guardian-pet-trainer team. My dog is 7 years old. Jori stated my dog wouldn't be a complete success since she's older. This is antiquated BS. My dog continues to learn new things and didn't have any issues with other trainers. Jori said that I've already put "so much effort into a rescue". This implies that my dog, and all rescues, are somehow of less worth because they weren't in the same home as a puppy their whole life. Very ethically wrong, especially from a dog training place. And this place implies that a pet guardian who isn't comfortable just handing over their pet for weeks to complete strangers is somehow clingy or an oddity. Specifically if a pet guardian "really needs to see their pet [during this training boarding time of weeks], the guardian *could* come watch a group train session sometime during the week". I stated my dog has anxiety and diabetes and I was worried about using the shock collar. Ever since the demonstration, my dog has been more fearful and had life-dangerously low blood sugars. I spoke with my former trainer (who is in Tucson and amazing) and she was very concerned why Sit Means Sit went up to a 3, which can do harm, on a dog that had no relationship with the trainer and had no experience with a remote collar. This place is sales pushy and expensive. This place is awful

This was and continuous to be the best thing I could have done for my German Shepherd Kyon. He was very people and dog aggressive, difficult on walks, and destructive to my yard. Within a few days of Sabrina/Alex and team working with him he was mellow, nice and allowed other people to pet him. It was even better after his 15 day board and train, it is great to take him on walks, no pulling or getting distracted from people or other animals. As for his aggression it has became very manageable, and is getting better every day. The customer service is second to none from Maggie always eager to answer my calls and questions, to Sabrina coming out to my house and introducing him to our family and friends and continuing to work with him one on one!! Big shout out to everyone, thank you I am truly impressed and grateful!!!

Great experience! Jori and crew are awesome . They provide a caring, safe environment for their clients. I now have two large dogs that I can control and enjoy in any environment. I can walk them both either on or off leash knowing that whatever we encounter, we will be a team that can handle it . This training, while a bit pricey, proved PRICEELESS to our family. HIGHLY recommend.

We had a free evaluation for 2 of our dogs today and it was great. Just 10 minutes in and we could see how good this training would be for our dogs. We have to take a minute to get the finances sorted to pay for it, but I think this will be well worth our time and money.

These guys are so good I just dropped off some cupcakes as a thank you! I did the top level E collar training with my Belgian Malinois. Sit Means Sit saved the day for me. I would have most likely had to find another home for my mally, but after Sit trained him he’s been nothing but sharp and obedient.Dog boarding is great at Sit. The facility is amazing and the staff is fantastic! I recommend Sit Means Sit to everyone! Especially this location in Pueblo!

We took our border collie there. At first it seamed very expensive. We’ve learned it is great value. After training there are free group visits for three years in our case. Alex, Sabrina, and Justin are fantastic. A true professional operation for dog owners who are serious about help training their dogs.

Staff is very friendly and they seem to love animals (hence two stars). They’re just not effective. Had my dog spend the 15-day program spending a few thousand dollars and my dog still poo and pee in the basement. She also chews whatever she gets her paws on. Those two were the two main things that motivated us to take her to this place. I would have been ok paying what they charge, which is not cheap, given these two small goals were accomplished. A real shame because I really wanted to recommend them.Update: Unfortunately I have to take one star away after having management call me today. The business owner was very upset for this review stating I "bad mouth" them. I did the best I could to communicate the facts of my dissatisfaction but I was barely allowed to speak. It seemed they care more about the "bad review" than try to help my dog with her shortcomings. It felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional on their behalf. This has been a very disappointing experience. I would definitely encourage you to explore other options.

I call and get a quote of $800 for the 20 day program. So they say take him down there pay $400 up front pay $400 after its all said and done. I'm like no problem. I take him down there and all of a sudden there trying to charge me $3k+ lol. Gross misrepresentation of there prices. I guess they figure once they have you down there they could try to reel you in with their financing options. Anyway there are much better options for this type of service right here in town at a reasonable price.

I took my last dog in for training there. I didn't realize how good a job they'd done until I got my new puppy and got to compare. I signed the puppy up today. It's worth every penny.
