Last week, my handicapped self went to FD on Elizabeth Street. And all I have to say is KUDOS to each staff member in the store. From the cashier who price checked items, rang me up, double bagged everything & it wasn't just one or two items either... To the second employee who helped her bag all my stuff & to the store manager who, along with the second employee - CARRIED MY BAGS TO MY CAR! WHAT? Who does that? Evidently FAMILY DOLLAR EMPLOYEES ON ELIZABETH Street! Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart for giving me top notch service. This is true customer service. Being my first time in that particular store, they made sure I'll be back to that side of town to shop at their FD! Thanks ladies!!A HAPPY CUSTOMER!

I went it today to deposit some cash on my cash app card and there alarm went off as I walked into the store I looked at the clerk and he didn't seem to be bothered by it as I was just walking in but moments later as I was walking up to the manager and I was told very rudly by the manager to leave the store and I agreed of course but it was a completely un called for and embarrassing situation I hope the company can look at training the management to be more courteous to there customers I will not be giving them my business from this point

Cashiers that I've seen, seem pretty nice, other employees just seem rude and don't wanna be bothered when asking for help. Store is always dirty, shelves never full.

My experience was just fine for most of my visit until I paid at the register for my items. I inserted my card and selected to get $50 cash back. You would of thought the cashier was giving me the money out of her own wallet by the way she reacted. She said I don't have that much cash all frazzled and I calmly said then cancel my transaction she said I can't. She proceeded to ask her coworker for help as she's counting the cash from her drawer that equals $50. She said that's all the cash I have and slammed it down on the counter in front of me. I picked it up and collected my bags I asked her if I got everything and she completely ignored me. Instead she told her coworker I'm making a sign he said ok. I'm assuming the sign is letting customers know they aren't providing cash back right now. I gathered what I think were all my bags and left. The bottom line is don't go here for friendly service.

Can I give this place zero stars? It was trashed inside. Stuff everywhere on the floor and the shelves we're barely stocked. My two year old told me she had to use the potty. I asked one person and they sent me to the front. I asked again if my little girl could use the restroom. The check out lady looked directly at my two year old (mind you she is TWO, so u know how important getting to a potty is) and said "honestly, there are a bunch of empty boxes back there so she wouldn't be able to get to it." Are you kidding me? A bunch of empty boxes in front of the bathroom?? I had to leave all my items on the counter so I could hurry and find my kid a bathroom somewhere else, the cashier didn't seem to mind. Ridiculous. Will not be going back that's for sure, the store was horrible anyways.

Store was an absolute mess. Boxes, empty and full, were scattered all over the aisles. One employee was sitting on his butt at the counter while they other employee (young, male, frizzed out hair) was listening to music on his phone at full blast and singing along to stuff with the N word over and over. No one bothered to ask is if we needed help finding anything. I gave up and went to Dollar General instead.

Overall, a pretty good store with decent prices, pretty friendly staff (minus one female who I got into a mild argument with twice), OK selection, and short check out line... I recommend shopping here

I've been a regular customer here for the past year and one of the guys that that works there told me I couldn't have my purse in there with me. A regular size purse that most women have when they shop. Now I can understand big bags and back packs bit purses? Really. I told him it was just a purse and I always shop with my purse and told him I won't come back here any .more it makes me feel uncomfortable now to go back there and besides the store is always a mess.

Went to this store in alot of pain I just got out from surgery asked the guy working at the counter for help finding a sewing kit and he took me to the hair ties and then I said no a sewing kit. Instead of telling me we don't sell those he completely ignored me an went to the check out and started scanning out customers. This is unacceptable 😡. I left the items I was going to purchase.ill Never come back.

This is quickly becoming the WORST Family Dollar in Pueblo. The store is never fully stocked, and is always messy. New staff every time you go in, and just slowly becoming more and more ghetto. This store has a bad habit of closing early with no warning or explanation. For months they were locking the doors at 8:15, even though they are supposed to be open until 9. Now they are closed by 4 PM!Even when I can get into the store, they usually only have half of what I need - if that. Although this is the closest store to my house, I will be traveling to the General Dollar store on 18th street from now on.

I went in to get a few things, the deoderant isle was empty and bare as usual. The shelves are never stocked, it smells in the store as if its never cleaned. Employees are always on their cell phones and not helping the customers. It will be the last time i step inside that store. If i could give it a negative star rating i would. This store needs to be deep cleaned and sterilized. Very disappointing in the Family Dollar name!!

Place was a shambles. Disorganized. Who puts medication and candy and toys in the same isle? Irresponsible.Line was long. Three workers in the store. Only one running a register. The other two disappeared at the sight of work.Glad there are other Family Dollar stores around!

The store was so dirty . The the aisles were so full of products in the way had to move a cart to get what i needed. Employees were up front just talking not putting stock on the shelves. Its easy for me to get to from where i live instead of goingto walmart for one item. Someone is going to get hurt there.

All I had was a $20 bill. When I unfolded it to hand it to the cashier, it ripped in half. The cashier wouldn't accept it because he said it was no good. First time I've ever heard that one..

Only go here when I need to make a quick trip. But the store is always messy. A male manager is a rude, sarcastic jerk. He talks to people like they are stupid. I wish I could remember his name. Only go here like I said if I have to make a quick trip.

Not organized at all.. Computers were down couldnt use my card 😞 very dirty boxes everywhere all the time .. No small baskets manager said because people are stealing them i have never been to a store like this one no organization .....

Extremely rude employee. While I was in the store I was looking for a bathroom. Looked around a corner where I thought it might be but didn't find it. An employee told me very disrespecfully that I was not allowed back in the store because I should not have been In that area of the store. There was no sign saying employees only.

We are new transplants to Pueblo, Colorado. I am a 34-year military Combat Vet & retired Law Enforcement Officer. My wife has been in the food and retail businesses for over 45 years. She shopped at this location for the first time 2 days ago, and purchased a few jars of Prego Spaghetti Sauce. They failed to give her a receipt. When she got home and opened the jars, the seals were broken (no 'pop' sound) and the jar lip was covered in black crud/mold. She immediately went back to exchange or refund, and was told their policy is NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON FOOD ITEMS ! Can you believe that ? What kind of store sells spoiled food and then refuses to give you your money back or exchange the food item for an unspoiled and edible item ? What kind of corporate policy is that !I went on the corporate website and made a complaint on their official complaint form. No response for a few days now. I looked up their Return Policy and it clearly states returns with receipts will either be replaced or refunded. Food items without a receipt will be exchanged for other food items only.So this particular store is apparently making up its own rules, in violation of corporate policy.I would stay far away from a store that would sell spoiled food, and then tell you when you came back to return it, "Sorry but you're stuck with the rotten food and we're keeping your money. Ha Ha !"

Im only giving the store one star because you need to rate it something to post a comment. I am a pregnant 18year old hispanic female and i used to go to this store almost everyday and one day this b*%@# kicked me out. I asked why I was being kicked out and she replied "Because I have the right to refuse service" and said I need to leave. I thought she might've just mistaken me for someone else so I went back another day, and that lady wasn't there and I was not kicked out and today I go in and that same lady kicks me out and again I asked "why?" And she replied "that's not up for discussion" and said that"the store is private property and I need to leave"

Family Dollar is a wonderful little place to shop but if possible steer clear of the one on Elizabeth in Pueblo, CO. The manager there is a mental case on a power trip. Word! That woman is a nutbag who dreams up reasons to ban ppl from the store. It's weird. Brandi, get some sleep and eat a meal once in a while.

Threatened by assistant manager in front of my children, now I have to explain to them what 'shoplifting' means and why that young man might have thought we were a threat. I'm a middle age, white mother of 3 and today was the last time I'll be shopping at any family dollar.
