Staff is normally very kind and friendly. 2 months ago they started a new cart policy that no cart leaves the store and I understand it's from theft. But since then they have allowed me to use a cart that is able to leave the store so I don't haft to do 6 trips from inside the store back to the car just to get everything loaded. I always ask permission to use this cart also. I'm in there almost every 3 days. Today experience was very bad wife went in and ask to use the cart like we always do the lady went straight on the attack saying you will just steal our cart with everything in it and then went on to threaten to call the cops mind you she hasn't even got anything in a cart or started shopping let alone steal anything. The. Refused to sell her anything after that fact. The employee acted Very unprofessional and yelled at her to not come back. I went and had a chat with this lady idk her name but she had a big thing on her nose she is very rude and does not need to be working at this store anymore I called all her bluffs of calling the police and everything she went quite then yelled don't come back to this store to me also. Other employee that was working was nice and helpful checked me out without a issue and told me how to make a complaint. I will also go Friday to talk with her manager since that's when she works next. 02/07/2024

One of the employees today was very rude to a young lady that just asked for a cart the second she did the employees started burating the younger lady. She should of never done that in front of customers. I'm in my upper 60s so I understand not wanting to make 5 trips in and out of the store but their was no reason to yell at the young girl and threaten to call the cops and call her a thief. She didn't even have anything yet so why call her a theif? I will go to dollar general from now on down the road...

Hi everyone! Well I'm so very proud to let everyone know that MY local Family Dollar recently won an award. Now if only I could remember why, lol. The staff is just awesome you almost feel like family. When I go in they know just what I'm after and because it's on the very top shelf, they ask "how many today". Then when I get to the register my candy is waiting for me. They are beyond helpful and this store is so clean, it's a joy!So take the trip to 36th lane and save lots of money!

Pretty good selection of stuff at reasonable prices. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Only bad thing I would have to say is that a paper receipt is required for exchanges/returns. Unfortunately they haven't caught up with the times and you can't look up the receipt with the credit card used.

It was clean, I found things easily. The workers were friendly and professional. I will admit I found eggs for 1/2 price . I was able to find more items too. Great prices too.

This is the closest store to me but seeing as how they do not open until 9am i drive right past it and go to the DG store 2 mile closer to town. The FD stores in town open at 8am why cannot this store do the same? Ever since Tim left this store it has gone downhill.

We live close and go here frequently. Ive noticed they put out sale signs the day before (ads). They put a hand written sign on the front door that suppose to say the ad prices are not in effect until the following day. So very frustrating..why do you do this???I will drive the extra mile to dollar General for all my shopping . WHATEVER THE PRICE STATES BELOW THE ITEM SHOULD BE THE CORRECT PRICE!!!!!!

Local Family Dollar store, carrying many of the items needed in a pinch. Milk, bread, cheese, etc., as well as cleaning supplies, pet food, health and beauty, and items for the home. Store associates are friendly and helpful. The store is usually well stocked and clean, and the prices are cheaper than the gas station across the street.

Convenient for last minute things so that you don't have to drive all the way to town however, be prepared to spend more money for smaller items like dish soap,over the counter medicine, laundry soap and food. On the positive side they have a Wonderful Customer Service and Support team!
