Update: this store has gone downhill. I hear that DG. Pressures management to lower shrink, but doesn't offer solutions for their store that are generally low income/low property value. The result bummed out employees who offer less than stellar customer service and and follow me to see if I'm shoplifting, but can't be bothered to provide customer service.I don't frequent dollar stores and I was skeptical of this new store on the West Side, but I was pleasantly surprised by Dollar General. It's the only place to buy groceries in the area other than the gas station across the street. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. There's a small food section that is good for picking up staples, drinks, snacks, and more. I like their Latin section and hope they expand it.

HORRIBLE SCARY PLACE , I HAD ONLY BOUGHT A HAND FULL OF 1$ BUT THE CASHIER CHARGE FOR A CASE OF WATER $ 5:69 AND I THINK SHE NEEDED $5 BUCKS SHE SHOULD HAVE ASKED I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT TO HER THIS STORE ITS ON 18th STREET ON THE NORTH SIDE , YOU CUSTOMERS BE CAREFUL THEY WILL CHEAT YOU ON MONEY LOOK CAREFULLY AT YOUR RECEIT !!!!

I prefer this DG over all of the others. The cleanliness is superb. Staff are always willing to help with anything I may need but the main reason I love this certain store is because everytime I have come into this store, I always find what I'm looking for. Shelves are stocked nice and neat. And not alot of freight out on the floor like the other stores

hodge podge of a little bit of everything food, drinks, snacks, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, some clothing, electronics, just a tiny version of a grocery store basically. generally friendly staff, not usually fully stocked or clean necessarily but sure thats due to shortage of staff, since probably not the greatest area for nice customer's.

This is a nice store. Its always clean and the staff always greet you with a friendly hello at the door. Sometimes I can't see the person who is greeting me which is a little weird but its nice to know that they are there and aware. Its nice to have a store with the selection of goods they have in this area. It's close to work and always has what I need.

This is one of my favorite stores to visit. The staff is super friendly. The store stays pretty well stocked. Every now and then it gets hit hard and some of the cold stuff is not available. I prefer this store over some others if that helps any.

Cashier was putting 2 or 3 items per bag. . . Is she getting a commission per bag? I stopped her but she charged me for an extra bag anyway.

Only issue I’ve had so far is that they never have the brand of cigars my husband and I smoke in stock and they are the only place close by that carries them. Other than that it’s a great store with awesome cashiers

Going to this store is always a convenient and fantastic experience!The staff is product knowledgeable, friendly and great at thier jobs, The prices are very fair and inexpensive. Plus the shelves are always stocked with the items I went in for. Plus, thier selection is great!I would suggest that everyone looking for ways to save money to try stopping at a Dollar General near them. But as for our neighborhood store-WE THANK YOU for having opened this store here!!!

Great staff and deals! I continue to go to this location because I'm treated well and always have my coupons taken care of even if they don't show right away. Staff is helpful but not in your face constantly. Thank you so much for your time and service!

The store looks really nice and is clean. Staff and customers are typically quite friendly. Check out can be a little slow, but not bad.

I give it three because if u buy any appliance, coffee pot etc.. You hve 30 days to return it! My coffe pot broke 40 days after purchase, wouldn't return or exchange it!! Why would I buy anything else appliance wise, when I can go to walmart and get a yr warranty on all products! This store chain is only good for household goods! Period!

I love that they build this store here! I dont have to drive 10 or 15min to the nearest store! Staff has been helpful when finding items and always welcomes you.

Nohing particular about this location distinguishes in a good or bad way from any other Dollar Tree location.I often stop in before I go shopping next door at King Soopers so I can pick up the few items that I would buy anyway at King Soopers but find cheaper at Dollar Tree. But be careful when you do this. Make sure to check quantity/sizes when comparing prices, and factor in the inevitable, dollar store item quality differences.

I went in to get a few things that I needed...however as I was walking through the store I seen sale of $ 1.00...i said ohhh I can afford that....dang it. On the other hand some if the prices are too high. So if you do go to this store make sure to download the DG app to help the coupons.

Long wait times, usually only one cash register is open. Better to go in the morning, as it gets extremely busy in the afternoon and evening

They always seem to be out of clover valley orange juice when I need it. 9 times out of 10, OUT. Conveniently located though, however, what's the point if they don't have my juice!!!
