I love locally owned businesses they are much more friendly and helpful. Been coming to this place for years and will continue to support them. Great customer service. Great options for pets and fish alike. Also provide grooming services.Update 5/2/24Staff is still amazing, knowledgeable and polite. They have hedgehogs, sugar gliders and Lord of other exotic creatures. My favorite animal supply store.

Hi I'm Bob, I have been looking for a great groomer and nail cutter to trim my nails.I am just a year old and yes my mama has had my nails cut at a couple other groomers. But Mama wasn't very happy with them, but then we found Animal kingdom. And they had the best groomer/ nail cutter there ever was. Cheyenne, She did such a great job on my nails and my mama so happy. We love everyone here. Always kind and very helpful. To our family it’s the only pet store in Pueblo. Stopping by to get pet food always seems like your stopping by to say Hi to family. There Birds are Beautiful!!! And very talkative. They have all sorts of beautiful fish. A wonderful selection of my favorite ☺️ snakes and spiders. Among many others. A Great selection of Food and Goodies for all your babies too. Can’t say enough. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. I really appreciate them being there to feed my babies at home. There isn't very many pet stores around that carry food for these type of pets., ❤️💞

This place is very pet😻 friendly . I took my KING 👑 SIMBA and they told me that he was very good and when I got him home he was so soft and smelled so clean he had his teeth cleaned and his ears , just put it this way they did a Super Great Job 👍

My husky went in looking like her fur was about to explode. She came out looking 10 lbs lighter! Her nails were trimmed, her teeth brushed, and she smelled good all for a great price. We'll be back soon!

Seeing a nearly skeletal snake with no explanation was very disheartening, could be natural causes or old age causing the issue but the lack of upfront information made it very sad to see. Staff was polite though, so that's coolEdit: The reason we were concerned about this snake is because we saw it once prior looking much healthier in weight. I'm very understanding and compassionate for the owner, just worried about the snake seemingly dropping weight is all :)

I love this place. Yes it is small but the owner really cares about the animals. You can tell they are in it for the love of all creatures. Many years ago we go to rescue cat from her. It was not a purchase it was an adoption as the cat was a stray in the neighborhood that she had taken in the kittens and dewormed and taken care of them. I am eternally grateful for how well she took care of him before we got him. He is a wonderful little love and I’m happy to know she was more concerned with him getting a good home then profit. I will always support them.

My family and I felt very un-welcomed and uncomfortable in this place.We we scolded by a few aggressive women while we were browsing the store.We were talking to the birds they have in there and told to “not to do that!”While looking in the reptile cages, we were snapped at, with major attitude by one of the women,for just looking in aquariums.We felt like we were in the way and not welcome.We had hoped to find a few fish to add to our tank, but after the aggression and the clear lack of care for their animals that was apparent by the potent smell and flies in the place and a pregnant cat sleeping on a display. We decided to go else where and will never go back.Looks and smells like a Guinea pig mill at best.

The people that work here are really awesome, and such nice people. They are extremely helpful, and very informative. If you have any questions at all about your pets or about getting a new pet these guys know the answers to all of them. I took my parakeet in and the lady who groomed her was extremely nice. Even though my parakeet was a jerk the grooming lady handled her with care and love. These guys will forever have my business. Thank you Animal Kingdom 😊

Always smells so bad in there! Half of the place is always closed off for cleaning. Asked for crickets 5 dollars worth. Gives us like 10 crickets for 5 dollars outrageous! Everywhere else you can get like 50 crickets for 5 bucks! Better off going to Beasties or Pet Paradise!In response to your comment: We went in an hour after you opened, every time we go in half your store is blocked off. Stop lying! Also your prices on feeders are ridiculous compared to all the other pet stores in town. Really with how much you say you’re cleaning the place at the end of the day your store should not smell like straight urine! I’m surprised you’re still open honestly!

It was my cat’s first time in the groomer, Miss Honey did a great job trying to make it a nice experience for her, she did pet and talk to my cat the entire time, they also have shaving machines that are very quiet which is great for cats.I’m so happy I went there, and my kitty is not even as stressed out as I thought it will be.Definitely coming back.

Excellent store! Their fish have always been healthy. I’ve bought koi for my pond, turtles for a pond, feeder fish, fish for my freshwater aquarium, and freshwater plants and all have been great. They’re super friendly, knowledgeable, and great to work with. We also bought Guinea pigs there and all the stuff with them. We keep going back and love the store! Highly recommend!
