Best kept secret in the area! We needed to be in Salida for almost the entire summer, and really lucked out finding one of these units available to us. More affordable than a hotel/motel and for short term rentals in the area, this was one of the most affordable we could find. Knowing that, we were pretty surprised at how well tended and decked out our cabin was. It was super comfortable, clean, and perfectly located. We loved calling the Poncha Crest Cabins home for the summer. Thanks so much for having us! -Cordelia & Anthony

This lady is a nut, she was a pain to rent from. The shower was leaking and therefore grew black mold in the shower, it took her 3 months to finally have someone come fix it! The cabins are not to code, the stairs are in violation of county code, there are no fire extinguishers in any of the buildings. It is advertised and shown that the bed is in the loft but it is against code to sleep in the loft, it is even in the signed contract that you cannot sleep there and have to make your own sleeping accommodations on the main floors
