Quick and easy rentals! They explained the options available and difference in the skis for our level of ski expertise. They’ll store them for you as well overnight which is easy access for the next day. Make sure to grab a locker nearby to store your regular shoes and leave plenty of time (I’d say an hour at least) between picking up your rentals and your lessons if you are doing that! It takes a second to get situated!

I had a great experience and top-notch rentals (the demo package) from WP Resort Rentals. I don't understand the many poor reviews. I'm an advanced skier, but I always rent. My rental experience across multiple days (I changed skis each day based on the conditions) could not have gone more efficiently. I want to express special Thanks to both Bryan and the female manager (sorry, I can't recall her name). The staff were consistently pleasant, helpful, and just all-around great. Thank You and keep up the great work!!

Gouge pricing and unmaintained equipment. if you like being patronized by techs that do not have any expertise in skis and want to pay $90 for kids skis this is your place. If you want skis that have useless "edges" that have not been tuned or waxed even once go here. They do not maintain or tune the equipment and if you rent from them your skis will not hold an edge. Every other shop in the area tunes skis when you pay a premium. I dont think the equipment is even safe.

Jared, the manager, is one of the worst employees I’ve ever encountered in my life. After having my husband and I walk back and forth searching for our prepaid snowboarding rentals between both rental shops, he insisted that we could not get a receipt for a return purchase of ski goggles we had just bought minutes prior. He also notified me that we were “ungrateful” when he initially discounted the goggles for us which was the reason his demeanor was so rude to us initially. Not sure what more he was expecting outside of a thank you. Unfortunately his lack of customer service skills paired with his excessively sassy behavior has tainted our perception of the Winter Park Resort as a whole. He is unfit to be an employee let alone the manager of the store.EDIT: I was hesitant to buy the goggles because my purchase of the snowboarding package included all the equipment we’d need per the website. However, another employee stated that the goggles were also required and we needed to purchase them. When we arrived to the lesson the instructor told us the goggles wear optional and other people also didn’t have them and would be fine. While at the store, Jared confirmed that he had reversed the charge even though he adamantly refused to give me a receipt to reflect that. Days later I’m now seeing that he never did a reversal in the store and I’ve been charged for an item I never even walked out of the store with and didn’t even need at all! Please save yourself the headache and don’t purchase anything from this store. They’ll up charge you and have you buy items you don’t even need. Horrible customer service too

They messed up my bindings and on my first run, I slipped out of both skis and had a bad fall. I had to WALK down the slopes to the closest lift to find a ski instructor who had a tool to fix it. When I went back to complain, the manager (male with neck tattoos) sassed me hard and questioned my story as if I was trying to low ball him. Incredibly unprofessional and dangerous. I do not recommend. Go to one of the many other options on site.

Will try to scam you for damage fees when they give you already damaged demo skis. Staff are not helpful and rude. Recommend renting from different place.

Helped move a family member to Denver 1-4-23/1-5-23 and was free Friday before Saturday flight back home. Decided to ski Winter Park and had limited gear so rented boots and skis. Walked from the Cabriolet lift to the shop about 10:45 am or so.Did the pre-register then took print out to staff and was directed to boot fitting. There was no waiting and attendant measured both feet and given late model boot which fit perfectly.Went to get skis that turned out to be what looked like fresh out of the box. No nicks. scratches or gouges on tops or bottoms.Was out the door in about 12 minutes and whole process was enjoyable. Was skiing Parsenn Bowl before noon

I was fitted for skis while I was visiting. The young lady helping me named Sienna was so sweet and answered any questions I had. She cracked some jokes when I told her I was nervous about skiing for the first time and made me feel comfortable.

As a blanket policy, won't do reservations unless 72 hours in advance. Very inconvenient, since they're the only on-site option for ski rental at Winter Park. Found out when I called to make reservations 2 days before my trip. It's not that they didn't have skis available that they could have reserved, they just wouldn't do it.

AVOID this rental shop. The only positive is convenience right in the village. Staff were neutral to disengaged. I rented a high performance package. Skis were mid-performance and they didn't have the size I needed. I did not reserve ahead of time and it was a busy holiday weekend so that is on me. Bases clearly hadn't been waxed or tuned in a very long time if ever which made for very unpleasant traverses. I tried once to switch the skis out. Asked if there was a way to do that without waiting in the very long line. Staff member looked at me and said no, you have to get in line. After I got my skis I asked about poles. Two staff members were talking and pointed to the rack of poles without any interest to help. The manager of this shop needs to train and expect a lot more from its employees.

This place handled everything top class.My girlfriend and I came in town for the weekend. We rented our skis for the weekend. She unfortunately got injured, as soon as we got to the slops. One specific gentlemen (who fitted our shoes - can’t remember his name) made sure we got everything taken care of, because we couldn’t utilize the 2 day pass.I wasn’t looking for anything, but the managers & staff made sure I got reimbursed, for our second day. They gave me no question about it.Thank you for making the experience very friendly & easy!

This was by the far the worst rental experience I have ever had. My two children were not fitted in their boots. They couldn't even set the bindings correctly and my oldest couldn't keep them on. WE will never use them again. Don't worry about convenience, they aren't any more quick than other rental places in town. We have used Alpine Ski and Golf in the past, and will make sure to give the money to someone who actually deserves. Thoroughly disappointed!!!!

I love Winter Park, but the equipment you'll get here is mediocre at best. The high end package is anything but. The boots I received should've been retired about 5 years prior but the staff didn't really care. Made for a miserable day on the mountain. Take a little extra time and head up to Christy's in town. They'll get you the best set up.

I will never rent ski equipment from here again. They herd you through like cattle and don't give you the attention needed to ensure you receive the proper equipment. They ask you your shoe size but don't actually bother to make sure the boots are fitting properly. I had to take my daughter back to get a second pair of boots because the boots were too big and she couldn't control her skis. My whole family had sore feet by the end of the day because they carry old boots that need updating. I would definitely recommend Ski4Less at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge instead, they do it right and make sure you get the right equipment and it has always been in excellent condition and it's at a much cheaper price.

First time skiier- bought the Route40 pass from Winter Park so we could ski at Winter Park and Steamboat Springs. The pass gave us 40% off at Winter Park Resort Rentals so we rented from there. I purchased the sport ski package. The staff were generally unfriendly, and uncaring - I wasn't sure how boots were supposed to fit so I ended up renting a size too big. Left feeling a little rushed but got back on the road to drive 2 hours up to Steamboat for a few days. On the shuttle to base the next morning, I see everyone carrying poles...I realized that I didn't have poles. I called Winter Park Rentals a few times, no answer, so I left a message. I had to rent poles from a shop in Steamboat and never heard back from Winterpark Rentals. A few days later we headed over to Winterpark to ski for the day. I went in to the shop, explained what happened and asked one of the staff if they would be willing to at least refund me the extra cost of having to rent poles elsewhere. He said something like, "5 year olds come through here, and they know to get their poles." Instead of taking responsibility for ensuring their customers leave with what they purchased (especially first time skiers), he decided to insult me. Definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I discourage anyone from using this shop.

1 star for the fact that the employees are nice and some may be informed, but 2.5 hours wait for 1 snowboard and a pair of skis is insane! I've been to many hills and never ever experienced anything like this any where! 1 line for everything is incredibly inefficient!

Friendly helpful people. Try their best to properly fit you to equipment. Open till 9pm daily during the ski season. Converts to mountain bike rentals in the summer.

Fast and convenient to the lifts. We rented skis and they printed our lift tickets. We rented our skis at 6 pm on a Monday and we're in and out in 30 mins.
