After moving to the Western Slope from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I was worried about finding a vet I loved as much as the vet we used there. I was very impressed with Dr. Smith and all his staff from the get go. It's been a long time since I've seen a vet trim nails and draw blood! He clearly cares for the animals and even gives advice on local hiking trails! I'm thankful we found Dr. Smith.

I have used Dr Smith for many years. I paid $95 to see if a lump on her was cancer and he was only worried about and pissed off because he went from 15.00 to 17.50 to 25 on the toenails and he wanted a girl that was a teenager to do her toenails and it had not evenbeen done appropriately, a kid did them for $25.. and they wouldn't refund the money Trixies had a bump on her back and I said look and exam it under microscope and he said tomorrow and said that bump was benign now I just got a slide 5 Weeks later 5 to 6 weeks later and she says it's cancer but if you look at how dirty they are we have a picture of a broom and a dustpan up under my dog while they they were operating but the new vets informed us he obviously didn't go far down enough with the needle to do the cancer. CHECK ,only halfway through the fat cells.So ,if he actually gave a damn ,he would have taken his time instead of being pissed about me not getting her nails done right away to make up for his horse accident that obviously messed up his brain as well as his knees So basically, CHEAPER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER,WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT BAD THING'S FROM GRAND JUNCTION TO GLENWOOD SPRINGS,Heads Up,MR.SMITH,IF MY TRIXIE DIES BECAUSE YOUR SLOPPY WORK ,I WILL OWN EVERYTHING YOU HAVE,NOT A THREAT,A PROMISE,YOU LET MY TRIXIE GET CANCER SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO GO SL THE WAY DOWN WWITH THE NEEDLE LIKE THIS DOCTOR DOD AND YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN,,ITS NOT A CELL ITS CANCER,YOU IGNORANT Fand she better make itOOL!!!We shall see the out come

If I could give Dr. Lee and his staff 10 starts 10 times over, I would! Years ago, he guided me through the process of managing my aging cat's life when I had never gone through the experience. Now, I usually just bring my cats for occasional check-ups and vaccinations but the team is also amazing when illness and injury occur. Dr. Lee takes the time to answer questions and presents the reality of costs and effectiveness of special procedures.

I wish I had found this place earlier. Dr. Smith is a Vet for all the right reasons. He truly cares. Helped me when I was in a pickle with my previous vet who refused to give my dog her meds until I spent more money than I had. Dr. Smith even got down and clipped her nails instead of passing it off to one of his techs. I highly recommend him for all your pets needs.

Dr. Smith and his staff are absolutely amazing! They are caring, kind, respectful and knowledgeable. The prices are great too, very reasonable. When are german shepherd jerry lee was at the end of his life dr lee showed us kindness while being professional we were with jerry lee all of his life and through it all my family respects the kindness and thoughtfulness his entire team has shown our family. His staff also sent us a card that touched us and helped us our dogs don't see anyone else but this vet clinic

We had scheduled a appointment for surgery for our little long hair chihuahua that the vet says takes 5 minutes to do for her cherry eye. We had missed the appointment buy a mistake of the the date by a day it being the 24 the not the 23rd. So my wife called a few days later to plea with them to get her in ASAP due to her eye getting worse they said okay and made us a earlier appointment so I called to verify our appointment. And the lady said I don't know who made you that appointment we can not get you in and was extremely rude about it and I said you can't do that she said your the one's who missed your appointment to begin with. I explained that doesn't make it right to make another appointment with us and cacell on us. She was very rude told her I would right this review and said good didn't want us as client's. Very unprofessional and rude

It was our first time being to this vet, We had decided to give them a try as their prices were more affordable and our dogs had been brought there as new borns to get their puppies shots and tails cut. I have 2 mini Australian Shepard’s two years old, one very social, one very shy. When entering the clinic my social one entered very fast while my shy one refused to go through the door, the vet assistant sat at the desk and watched as I struggled getting my shy one in the door while my social one was already greeting the other customer inside, thankfully the other customer was courteous and assisted me with the door, again while the assistant sat at the desk watching. After we were brought into the back room for their annual shots and check up the Dr was in and out did not do an exam of any kind simply gave they shots and did slight small talk then left, I asked the assistant what we needed to do in order to renew their heart worm medication that we order from chewy, the assistant stated all we had to do was order from chewy and they will renew it. We ordered from chewy and our request was denied due to not having a recent heart worm test. We called the clinic and were told that we had to bring our dogs back in to get a test done, even though we were just in a month ago to do that exact thing but were told we didn’t have to. Very disappointed with the service and care given. Will not be returning.

I called earlier in the week to schedule an appointment for my dog. He seemed to be having issues with one of his ears. My husband shows up day of the appointment - parks in front of the office. Dogs appointment was at 8, everyone starts walking in the door at 8. My husband than calls the office and the staff said that because he wasn't there at 8 they will need to bump him to a later time in the morning. Instead of trying to accommodate because we were there and we were one time.

Apparently anyone can use someone elses name at parachute veterinarian clinic i have a account there in collections that i had no idea existed they said they sent me a bill but apparently to an adress that isnt for mailing????? How does this happen? And when i really need to get my dog in there they said i cant even pay up front???? Then i call and am treated rudly how terrible the people and service are!!!! Update: got a recorded call w/ a person at the front desk threatening to ban me for this review 😑
