This place is one of the best breakfast places I've ever been too. Everything is basically made from scratch including the biscuits which I could have had 15 they were so good. I've been traveling to CO from CT yearly and hands down this small business is the best. My carnitas breakfast skillet was an amazingly delicious, spicy and the coffee was good. Wonderful way to start my day.

The food was fantastic 😋. I really like the home made corn-beef hash. Service was good. The boy cleaning tables was doing a fantastic job paying attention to detail.I will go back when in Paonia or nearby again.

It was ok. The waitress got my order wrong and insisted on me not ordering it. I know I did because I do not order my eggs the way she brought them. Then she begrudgingly took them back only to see her slip and then say "oh yeah you did order them that way". There was no seasoning on my food. My family seemed to like their food enough though. I got eggs and hash browns so maybe just those things are unseasoned here. For the price I would say not really worth it. But if you like basic food then this is your place.

This was easily, hands-down, the worst "dining" experience of my life. Made the mistake of going there for breakfast over the weekend. Ordered the breakfast slider. It was two biscuits, burnt, and hard as a rock, housing an egg and a (burnt) sausage patty that were absolutely covered in salt to the point that they were inedible. My friend had hash and the meat in it was burnt and dry and flavorless. Now I completely understand why we were pretty much the only people in there. If this place were anywhere other than a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, it would be closed within a week. Truly awful. And as a side note - the old lady server had zero personality, offered zero pleasantries, was extremely rude, and the only time she was ever nice was when it came time for us to pay for the "food." Gee... wonder why. I will say that prior to us leaving, a couple of locals came in - and she was all smiles and warmth and kindness. So maybe this is just how they treat "outsiders?" I don't know, but lesson learned.

This place was great. 6 of us showed up 30 minutes before closing and they were cool enough to feed us all. Our waitress was super friendly and welcoming.I got the Ruben (I almost always get a Ruben on vacation) and this one was VERY good. The chicken and waffles looked good also.

The very archetype of a greasy spoon: good coffee, filling tasty breakfast, waitress pours coffee without asking if I want a refill.That is why I love the place, totally unpretentious.As an added bonus it is just around the corner from Peonia Purple; yet one more reason to visit.

Very much not impressed. I asked for my hash browns to be very well done, and the waitress just blandly said "they'll do the best they can" - turns out the best they can is absolutely nothing - my hash browns looked exactly the same as the guy I was with who didn't ask for anything special. The bacon here is also the thinnest bacon I've ever seen in my life, and kind of disintegrates in your hands. There are plenty of much better options very close by.

It was a nice day we went to eat. Then we stopped by the 4 b's fruit stand. Took a few pictures and had to wait to pick peaches 🍑. We went back and picked our own fruit when it was ripe. Great place for the whole family. Go and take a look for yourself.

My wife and I had breakfast there today and it could not have been better. My wife's vegetable omelet was full of fresh, not overcooked vegetables, and yes, my egg bacon and hash brown breakfast was simple, but I had the best hash browns and sourdough toast I ever had. An excellent breakfast stop!

Burger was small. But tasted good. Maybe 1/4 pound if that. Lots of good bacon on it. Tint bit of cream cheese and 3 slices of jalapenos. Fries were hot and very fresh. Lady waiting table was easy to confuse. I asked for fries and she brought chips. Hum. She then brought the fries after dumping the chips into another plate

I am from out of town and here to lay my grandmother to rest. I tried to call and get one item for pickup because I am pregnant and the lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude and said she didn’t have time to take a take out order and began yelling at me with her reasoning. I’m saddened that our experience in the town our great grandfather founded is filled with incredibly rude and inconvenienced people.

Great breakfast served cheerfully. Usually just a few locals on weekday mornings. Very good green chili which we had on huevos rancheros and chicken fried steak. Both very good. Hash browns were good as well.

I ordered chicken strips, fried zucchini and fries. All of which was too burnt to enjoy. My zucchini came out like a tiny little disc,hard as a rock. I womt be dining here again. No face masks either.

Walked in and they didn't even look at us. We sat are selfs and then waited for 20 min just for them to ask what we would like to drink. We then ordered burgers. 2 groups of people walked in after us and got served first and ate and left before we even got are food. So we left without eating. Horrible experience the two lady's there need to get there act together.

I came here with my family and we had an absolutely great lunch. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to my gluten allergy and my vegetarian sister. So glad we stopped here for lunch on our way to Aspen!

Hands down, best breakfast spot I have ever been too. Everything is handmade and tastes fantastic. Wondeful staff and a great chef.If your passing thru or staying in Paonia it's a MUST eat.
