I loved everything about Sweetgrass cafe. The latte was amazing as well as the brownie. The Hal sandwich accompanied with homemade potato chips was so delicious. Friendly staff, charming indoor spaces and a relaxing patio dining area. Upstairs rooms are available to rent.

Best breakfast in all the land! The breakfast sandwiches are incredibly tasty, filling and inventive with savory eggs, cheese, chicken sausage or bacon, and avocado, on a delicious biscuit. My mouth is watering just typing this review!! They have all the alternatives to milk you could want, also. Oat, almond, etc. My granddaughter loves the chocolate croissants. You can’t go wrong here! A gem in little Paonia!

The most DELICIOUS sandwich (the Hal)! The service was great and everyone was so nice to talk to! Atmosphere was so great! I would 100% recommend this to anyone going to or passing through Paonia, CO!

What a lovely birthday feast! We're in from out of town and wanted to find a nice birthday brunch type meal. Sweetgrass delivered. The staff is lovely, the food exceptional, and the atmosphere (sitting outside in the shade on a lovely late summer morning) was incredible. I will absolutely be back for the yogurt bowl!

I've eaten at Sweetgrass many times, and I'm never disappointed! The menu is fairly simple with many interesting, enchanting flavors! I'm also a pick espresso drinker, and the coffee is always spot on to my liking- it's hard not to drink several when I dine in.The staff is phenomenal, and they're one of the many things that keep pulling me back! They all amazing people who do their best to ensure you have a wonderful experience.My go-to has been an Ayo sandwich, but swapping the bacon out for turkey since I don't eat pork!Vegetarian options: My partner is a vegetarian and always feels like he has several options to choose from, and even has the choice to sub meat out for something else!Dietary restrictions: I am hard to please when eating out because of my diet, both allergy and actually picky eater wise. If there's something you can't or won't eat, they'll work with you to find a comparable swap!

Wow! Excellent! My wife suggested we go in here as we were walking by, I wasn't too interested in eating lunch at a coffee shop. It is definitely more than that! The food was great! Everything that we had. Fresh and delicious! They make all their own bread for the sandwiches and all their own and they're excellent! I was really impressed!The woman behind the register could have been friendlier but not a big deal, maybe she was just having an off day. It wouldn't stop me at all from coming back repeatedly!

This place is delicious! I had the The Hal which was amazing! Thanks to previous reviews I knew this sandwich was the one I wanted and let's say - it's definitely a 5 star sandwich! My husband had The Bach and it was also a 5 star sandwich! The homemade focaccia melts in your mouth. We also each had an iced Oat Milk Latte and again - 5 stars! Icing on the cake the dog friendly shaded patio - perfection! We will be back!
