I took my (newly adopted) 1 year old Golden Doodle to Pawlished Paws yesterday. I understood they felt she needed to be shaved down due to some matting. However, I was surprised by the price- $130. $30 more than others charge for the same service. I went ahead because I had an appointment and felt it would be rude to walk away. I was told it would be four hours. I got a call after two hours saying the dog got too nervous of the dryer and there was nothing more they could do. I understand that. No one wants to over traumatize an animal. When I picked her up she was patchy so the cut hadn’t been finished (they were going to finish her after the bath), her nails were as long as when I dropped her off (nails were part of the price) because they were going to finish the nails after the bath. I understand all the reasons why I got back a partially finished dog- I just don’t understand why I still had to pay $130 for a job half done. Pawlished Pups is an exceptionally great place to take your pup for a groom. We are seeing Heidi for 7 years already and were so happy when she opened up her own salon about 3 years ago.Our Shihpoo Finn loves her and gets excited when we see her. He always looks so cute and the groom is ALWAYS professional. Heidi (☆and her staff too) is awesome with her furry clients and the environment of the salon is so inviting. Highly recommend!

Heidi is the BEST groomer around Motown. She has been grooming our girls since 2016-17. Her shop is clean, dog friendly & she’s very professional. Our girls are so excited to see her & she absolutely loves them.

What a great place! New to Palmer Lake and read the wonderful reviews. We took our 1 1/2 year old English Cream Retreiver / Doodle in for a full groom and couldn’t be happier! Super friendly staff and owner Heidi were so welcoming and knowledgeable. Our girl RaLu is super clean and happy!

Excellent grooming service! We have a nervous little schnauzer who has been unable to complete a grooming session after four or five tries, and they got it done today! Great rates and a much better job and we’ve had at other places. We will keep coming back. Their care and expertise were plan to see. Trust them.

We've used Pawlished Pups several times now for our three dogs. They always come back home very happy, the shampoo and deferring is very well done. We have very little shedding after we see them. My wife is a retired veterinary technician And she always praises how they trim the dog's nails. Friendly staff, very fast service. Take your dogs there to get pampered.

I’ve been taking all four of my dogs to Missy for years! She’s the absolute best and I’d never trust anyone else to take care of my babies. Our dogs don’t exactly like getting their nails trimmed, but she takes good care of them and the finished product is always amazing! I highly recommend taking your pups to Pawlished Pups :)

Jade has done a fantastic job grooming our sweet (and a bit needy) Wheaten Terrier Luna. She listens to how we like her groomed and always takes her time to get things just right. Luna is always excited to greet Jade, Heidi and all the other pups that are there.

I have THE most terrified German Shepard. A few minutes with Heidi and I felt confident leaving my lil buddy with her. When I picked him up he was in such a good mood and smelled amazing. 5 stars 🤙
