We have been driving past this place for years thinking it looks nice, but it probably costs a fortune. Well, I'm here to tell you it doesn't and it is a gem. It's a beautiful place with old-fashioned charm. The staff (all of them) were super friendly. The rooms where perfect size and quiet. The grounds are beautiful surrounded by a grape vineyard that we took a walk through (not sure if we were supposed to). The courtyard was perfect to sit out and have breakfast in the rocking chairs among the singing birds. Lastly the pool was nice. Too bad they are working on the hot tub, but we will get that next time around. I would highly recommend this place

This is our 2nd stay at the Wine Country Inn with an exceptional experience both times! The check-in process is easy and friendly; and the rooms are super clean and well maintained. This hotel is located in a beautiful setting with a spectacular view from the on-site restaurant. Having the opportunity to have dinner a short walk from our room was a huge plus. I usually avoid free breakfast at hotels but the quality and selection served here could not be passed up! The Wine Country Inn will definitely be our go-to when traveling through western Colorado.

I have been to this hotel many times. It is a lovely place in a beautiful location and easy to find. There aren't many places to eat in Palisade, the local town, but there are plenty of wineries to visit, and the Colorado National Monument is nearby. There is also a beautiful park along the nearby river. The hotel offers its guests a free glass of wine from a local winery every evening. The wine quality is only medium, but I have really enjoyed the food at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The free breakfasts are superior in quality, and the staff is friendly and supportive. They even went to the extra effort of mailing me some items I left in the room. They also have a swimming pool and a hot tub. The pool was closed during the winter, but the hot tub was open. This hotel is the best that Palisade has to offer, and I plan to return there as soon as I can.

What a wonderful place in beautiful Palisade. We stayed at the Wine County Inn for a conference and were very pleased with all the accommodations they offer. Parking was a breeze, the rooms were great, the bartender made a GREAT Moscow Mule and the complimentary breakfast was amazing! I especially appreciated the fact they are dog-friendly. We look forward to our return - this place is fantastic!

We will stay here again when we want to have a relaxing time away. Was nice to have Caroline's restaurant on site. Great food and service.Food & drinks: Fidel's restaurant in Palisade is great! Exceeds expectations, prompt communication, fantastic decor, yummy food, excellent customer service. Wine Country Inn hosted our wedding hotel block and our post wedding brunch. Mrs. Collins was prompt in her communication. Hotel staff placed our welcome bags in each guest room. Vicky went above and beyond setting up decor and providing service for our brunch. Our guests felt cared for while staying at the Wine Country Inn. The Inn is a beautiful and accommodating place to stay or host your next event.

I’ve stayed here once a month, every month this year for work trips and I cannot recommend this place enough!! The rooms are always clean, the grounds beautifully maintained, the entire staff friendly and helpful, and the food consistently delicious. Caroline’s and the Tapestry Room are pretty much the only places I go to eat when I’m in town. Clear views of Mt. Garfield, peach orchards and vineyards. If you’re gonna stay in Palisade, this is the place

We had such a great time! We had our wedding ceremony here, and can I just say how professional everyone was? My guest really loved the venue, and the food was amazing they couldn't get enough of it, and the view this time of the year was so beautiful, we both loved how close we were to Mt Garfield. The service was definitely 10 stars for us. They were so quick at answering our questions and getting everything together. My husband and I were so impressed and can't wait to stay there as guests again! We appreciate everyone in the staff for making our special day so spectacular.

This place was a great location to stay for a few days of peace and quiet. We basically had the pool to ourselves on a Thursday afternoon, and enjoyed the rocking chairs in the courtyard while we had coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings! The breakfast was nice, except when they got busy with families on Saturday morning - lots of bare feet and bellies out (and not the cute toddler kind...) that were disconcerting to share breakfast with. The staff were all friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would go back next time we're in the area.

We stayed only 1 night. The front desk staff is wonderful, check in was a breeze, friendly and wonderful suggestions of things to do locally. The wine reception was a nice touch too. The rooms clean and the bed comfortable. They do however need to staff their restaurants. While 3 people are at the front desk, the 1 server in the lounge is obviously stressed out and overwhelmed. Though she was working hard….she was short with guests, unfriendly and obviously annoyed if you asked for suggestions or for napkins and silverware for your meal. If you do stay here, I would suggest eating elsewhere.

Nice and relaxing stay. Beautiful grounds surrounded by vineyards and gardens. The facilities are well maintained and the decor is very suitable for a wine country ambiance.Breakfast was included, food and beverage options were good, however the dining room is quite small. We didn't visit any of the restaurants for another meal.Their winery is right next to the hotel and there are town events within a walking distance. All staff were very friendly and professional.

A one-night stopover on a cross-state trip, I think this was the hottest day of the year. Food was pretty decent, bar provided quick service, but all of the staff seemed lackluster and disinterested. The pool was a nice reprieve from the brutal summer temps, but oddly acted as a magnet for the humidity, you could not enter the property center without immediately pouring sweat. Not a reflection on the hotel itself though, just an observation.

Just a one night stay but the Inn seemed good quality.Decent room sizes. Clean and equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful.Easy parking and access for all.Enjoyed a free glass of wine - from the winery obviously - around 5pm to 6pm. Just sat out near the pool enjoying the late sun against the well kept flowers (and the hummingbirds)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wine Country Inn in Palisade, Colorado, and I must say it was an impeccable experience from start to finish! The hotel's dedication to providing a top-notch stay is truly commendable. The accommodations at Wine Country Inn were nothing short of outstanding. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. Every amenity I needed was readily available, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. The inn's location amidst the breathtaking Colorado wine country added an extra charm to our stay. The stunning views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains were simply awe-inspiring. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable getaway. One highlight of my stay was the on-site restaurant Carolines which offered a delightful culinary experience. The menu featured a variety of delectable dishes, expertly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. In conclusion, our experience at the Wine Country Inn was absolutely top-notch. The impeccable service, gracious hospitality, and stunning surroundings made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palisade, Colorado. 100 % Disabled Veteran and they kicked me out of restaurant when I complained about charges over menu prices. Server allowed dog without any service vest to sit on lap of person as this other dog in pictures ran around restaurant without any leash. Night manager called me to desk when my wife was asleep and attacked me and said she was going to kick us out of hotel. I left messages for both mother and daughter the owners and still have not had any response. My wife’s pictures of dogs in lounge will be provided to health department when I return home. This review is also just like the other customer that expressed her attitudes of her server. Any owner that don’t care of this abuse to guests is in the wrong business. I will be provide this complaint to my attorney along with health department to protect others from such abuse. This dog of leash attacked my service dog in the parking lot and then pooped in the vineyard. Careful drinking the wine. Maybe they just don’t like people that serve our country..Noteworthy details: Stay Clear and go elsewhere. Owners don’t care. They will when they are left with the recorded words of their employees and pictures they have not care about. God bless everyone and hope you don’t get attacked like my wife and myself and Military Issued service dog. They should call themselves a wine and dog farm.

Love the location, pool, views, lobby/breakfast area, friendly staff, rooms are clean and quiet. Even though it’s close to the highway you can’t hear it.Don’t like how the rooms are in a separate building behind the lobby so you must drive around to back which quite dark and use your key card to enter. Also bed linens are scratchy, AC cycles on/off every 10 minutes, window needs a vertical shade,

We have stayed at Wine Country Inn three years in a row as a late summer trip while staying in Colorado for my wife’s birthday and our dating anniversary. We wanted to find somewhere staying in our home state that felt like a real vacation. I cannot express enough how underrated this place is and incredible each experience has been. The service is top notch, from the manager Ian to each and every staff member. The pool is perfect for hot days, socializing in the hot tub in the evenings with a glass of wine is the perfect finish to each day. The food at Tapestry and Caroline’s has always been amazing, the location is perfect to explore the wineries of Palisade, and the ambiance makes you forget all your worries. I’ve recommended this hotel to friends and family, and a few have stayed and had nothing but great things to say. WCI is a hidden gem and a must for a true Colorado experience. We have made this an annual tradition and it continues to pay dividends. If I could rate it ten stars I would!

A quiet, beautiful property with great complimentary wine tastings and continental breakfast! Would highly recommend trying the delicious French onion soup and peach bread pudding at Caroline's, the attached restaurant. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!Nearby activities: There are so many tastings just a few minutes away. I would recommend tasting mead at Talon Meadery and taking a tour at Peach Street Distillers.Food & drinks: Caroline's, the attached restaurants, had delicious French onion soup and peach bread pudding. Traveled here from California for a wedding. It was a lovely hotel with clean rooms, all the amenities you would need, a pretty substantial breakfast buffet, a free glass of local wine in the evening and most of all a wonderful staff. Big shout out to Vicky who helped at the front desk, was the coordinator & sometimes bartender at the on-site wedding, was an IT resource when I needed help with something and was just an all around great person. When you first get there, the only thing you see is a few small vineyards and a couple of roadside places, but if you have a chance, explore the town of Palisade. We wandered over to the Palisade Brewing Co. on a Saturday…great beers, a local band jamming and met a great bunch of locals.
