My husband and I stopped in the Ordinary Fellow winery and tasting room in Palisade with our little one on a Monday afternoon in late January and really enjoyed our time here. Visiting in the off season means less crowds and more time with the winemakers! Karo, one of the owners, was pouring wines and was absolutely a delight to chat with. It was so fun learning about the history of the winery in Palisade (fairly new - but if you’ve ever heard of the Infinite Monkey Theorem in Denver, you’ll know their background!). We ended up buying the petit verdot - really unique and flavorful. Our timing didn’t quite line up with their eatery - Le Snack - but would love to come back again and try the food. Definitely will be visiting whenever we’re back!

This is a great addition to an already great little pocket of Palisade. Love that there is now a winery, a brewery, and a distillery all grouped together. We loved the wine and the vibe and the food truck was awesome too! Very cool place!

Forgive me for waiting so long to post. My husband and I were invited to your dinner and wine tasting at the Wine Country Inn, in January. It was a wonderful evening with great food and great wine. We live in Palisade and didn't know about your establishment. Thank you, for the opportunity to try great wines and great food.

Wonderful new addition to peach street! Super cool industrial building with historical significance to the area. An absolutely gratifying place to hang out and enjoy a glass of wine with beautiful views of the Grand Mesa. All the wines are delicious. Definitely make sure to stop in here and check out their interesting labels and play a game of ping pong.

The Ordinary Fellow has quickly become one of my favorite wineries in Palisade. Strangely enough this actually has little to do with their wine. Don't get me wrong, most of the wines here are easily crushable and I doubt you'll find it hard to enjoy a glass or three. There are some big misses also, but taste is subjective and you absolutely should come here and find out for yourself. Why this is one of my favorite places in Palisade boils down to the layout of their space and overall vibe of the building.Their setup is quite unique to the area, providing an atmosphere that town has sorely been missing. There is no pretentiousness or wine snobbery to be found here. Just come relax on a couch and taste some good vino made by passionate people. Have it served and presented to you in a relaxed setting by a chill but knowledgeable person. Come hang out with friends and have a few glasses. Shop for some local art and homemade goods while your here. It's all no big deal man. It's all good. This massive warehouse is more than just a tasting room, it is a community gathering and event space. There is always a food truck at hand ready to help soak up some of that vino, as well as a giant well-appointed covered patio to vibe on. Maybe most importantly; they are open later than any other winery in town, making this either the perfect last stop on your tasting tour or best place to hang out in the early evening when you're not yet ready to switch from wine to world-class bourbon from the distillery next door. The Ordinary Fellow somehow intrinsically knew that there was a void that needed filling in the Palisade wine community. Then they double downed on that knowledge and built one of the state's coolest spaces to enjoy fermented grapes in. Pretty dang cool if you ask me.

This new winery is refined and definitely gives a modern feel. Very spacious even when there’s a bunch of people. They have games to past the time and of course a ping pong table! The wine selection is limited since they are new but definitely worth checking out. The Riesling is sweet and crisp. Albariño has an amazing apricot aroma and very delicious. The rosé was fruity with an earthy finish. My favorite was the red blend with nice bold and darker cherry blend flavors. Overall great experience. The staff will really explain what flavors stand out in the wines. Great new winery. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a modern feel and a great time out. Thank you for your service and keep up the great work!!

I love Ordinary Fellow! Their Washington Red Blend is delicious. 😋The atmosphere is so fun and comfortable. The Palisade Historical Society had a presentation on this particular visit, which elevated the experience even more!

Best winery in town. Brand new, great atmosphere, wines and staff. Highly recommend. I come here annually, great place to see added to the addition of the palisade lineup. Stopped here on our bike tour - definitely the place to be!!!! Amelia is our favorite!

Cute atmosphere but for me, the wine is very middle-of-the-road. It’s definitely not worth the INSANE prices. $16 for a glass of sparkling rose (or $48 for a bottle?!🤣)? It’s absolutely not that good! Restoration has some of the best wine in the valley and they don’t charge as much - and the wine here doesn’t compare to theirs, so for them to charge MORE?! And much of the wine is kegged. Wild. I don’t imagine they’ll be in business for the long term.

Of all of the wineries that I visited so far in Palisade, this is my favorite! I don't love sweet wines so I was hesitant to try their reisling and wow, was I pleasantly surprised! It's wonderful! Same with their chardonnay. There is a reason they call it "not your mom's chardonnay." The manager was attentive and very knowledgeable. I love what they're doing with their wines and the flavor profiles that are creating. We loved everything we had. The interior and exterior ambiance is great. We'll definitely be back and I still can't believe I enjoyed a chardonnay!

We visited the winery today and had a wonderful experience with Rochelle. She described the winery history and winemaker. Was love that Thai space was formerly a peach packing facility!! We are familiar with Infinite MonkeyTheorem as we are from the Denver area. We loved the Chardonnay and Red Blend while relaxing in the beautiful and eclectic interior space. Bonus: we asked about local mountain biking and received great advice on local trails from Neil! We will absolutely be back and will recommend to our wine loving friends!

Fantastic wines! Great outdoor seating with misters to keep it comfortable and a cooled indoor seating in warehouse ambiance. The le snack food was incredible. Excellent gourmet small plates for a reasonable price. Can't recommend enough!

Not for everybody, the wine selection is super slim to certain palettes. I enjoyed the Riesling but it was super acidic.

Wheeehoooo! This is the best spot we went to today. The wine is fantastic, the wine-tender, Neal, was knowledgeable and friendly. And the space! So dope. Don’t miss it if you come for wine tastings!

One of my favorite local wineries to hang. Great wine ( Pinot is my fave) and fun events like Thursday history talks, new wine pairing dinners and of course Le Snack food truck ( don't let the name fool you, it's gourmet). Plus it's on the 4 corners where you can also find the brewery, distillery and dispensary. Easy walking distance from the Sunday farmers market too. Cheers!

A breath of fresh air! Behind the bar, Nicholas aided us with a wine flight, and he was as delightful as the wine. Run, don’t walk, to this place for a great afternoon.
